With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices. You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. >>6354269Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:After Freeza, Okira and Karn Jr combined their powers to restore the city of Metropolis for Ubo's fellow Kryptonian known as Superman, Karn returned home to witness Milha's new form. Like a mix of Primal and Super Saiyan God, she and her father Karn battled it out. And after a first intense sparring match, and learning of what Koruza has been doing in the Demon Realm, Karn had the first uninterrupted several hours in a long time before Haathe brought news of the Heeters arrival. And as we rejoin Karn, you've just learned from Elec of a plot by a surviving Cerelean to destroy your entire race.“He plans to use the power of the Dragon Balls for himself, to destroy your people in revenge for his own being exterminated.” Elec says, expression serious. “And then go after Freeza as well, who was in charge at the time. This is a threat that must be dealt with seriously.”“On that, we agree.” you reply, mind already abuzz with thoughts and questions. “What's his name?”“You want a name?” Elec asks, then nods. “He is called Granolah, the last son of Planet Cereal.”“Hold on, Granolah?” you reply, brows furrowing. “How'd you hear about him?”“He's a bounty hunter, working on the outskirts. I've employed him myself, a time or two.” Elec confesses, holding his hands up palms-out in a gesture showing non-aggression. “That was before I knew he was after your people's heads. Or, at least was serious about it anyways.”“What do you mean, serious?” your wife butts in, stepping forward threateningly. “You knew someone who hated our people and just... Didn't say anything?”“Yes. Believe it or not, your people aren't exactly... Popular, amongst the greater populace.” Elec says, tone apologetic. “Your daughter's done excellent PR work for your race, but most people either had their worlds enslaved by your kind, or know someone whose planet was genocided by the Saiyan race. And people do tend to hold grudges about that sort of thing.”cont
>>6354272“So, why now?” you ask, seeing confusion then understanding dawn on his face before you clarify. “Why are you telling us this now, instead of before when he first threatened our kind? What's changed to make him seem a viable threat?”“He used the Dragon Balls.” Elec replies, your blood running cold. “He's now a stronger fighter than even Gas, my younger brother.”As Elec says this the smallest of the Heeters step forward, but you know he's also by far the strongest. Having witnessed him in battle personally, you know he's strong. Not as strong as you cutting loose, not close, but you've also not sensed him ever using his full power. Leaving you unsure just how strong the Heeter really is, though you can sense he's hiding his true power. But what do you do now?>Ask Gas to a quick spar, so you can test his power. And so he can compare you to Granolah, see which of you he thinks is stronger>Reach out telepathically to Freeza and let him know, since this Granolah is apparently after him as well he should be ready>Telepathically tell King Vegeta everything, let him know what's happening and why the Heeters are here. The entire conversation taking only the time it takes Elec to blink, but in that time you see Gas, the smallest Heeter's brows furrow as he studies you.“I see. Ask him what he wants.” your king replies after a moment's contemplation. “He's clearly after something, reaching out to you directly instead of going through official channels and sneaking onto the planet without officially making a visit. Find out what it is, and let me know.”“On it.” you reply before directly addressing Elec directly once more. “So, why are you here then?”“I... I'm sorry, what?” he asks, confidence faltering a bit as he wasn't ready for your reaction. “I don't know what you mean?”“You came a long way to set this clandestine meeting up, without going through channels or letting everyone else know what's going on.” you reply, crossing your arms as you look down at him. “I want to know why. What's your angle here?”“My angle? I merely-” he starts, looking between you and Meloka. Only for his expression to shift, seemingly realizing that his canned speech won't work. So, with a sigh, he then meets your gaze again. And as he speaks, tone more frank, both the other Heeters look to him shocked. Clearly surprised he's speaking so plainly. “Two reasons. First, if it went through official channels, it'd show I hired him for dozens of jobs over the years. And my reputation'll take a hit. And secondly, those who do have grudges against the PTO, but have done good work for me in the past will turn on me. Many of them dangerous, knowledgeable beings who I would prefer to keep as allies instead of enemies. That's why I didn't make this a more public affair. If he could be dealt with... Discretely, without my name being associated with the termination for his sedition, that would be ideal.”cont
>>6354353You relay all this to King Vegeta as he's speaking, feeling the king's thoughts in real-time as Elec speaks. Almost feeling your king's mind turning over Elec's plan in his mind, how he wants you all to handle this threat without it coming back on him.“So, he wants us to eliminate this threat without making it an official event, allowing him to keep his hands clean of the entire affair.” Vegeta thinks to you. “Probably also wants to take that planet's Dragon Balls for himself. Swoop in as we take his rogue mercenary down, and while you and he are busy fighting he thinks he'll claim the prize and get that wish.”“You thought so too?” you reply telepathically, glad it wasn't simple paranoia making you wonder the same. “So, how should we do this?”“That's a good question.” King Vegeta replies. “Give me some time to figure out a plan.”And before you can respond, King Vegeta disconnects the mental link. Leaving you facing down Elec and his siblings, the Heeters with one question:What now?>Thank Elec for the information, but that you need time to plan. That if he's >Ask Elec's brother Gas for a match, so he can compare your power to Granolah's and ascend to your Berserker God form \>Tell Elec you'll handle this, that you'll tell King Vegeta and Freeza and everyone else who needs to know the situation to see how he reacts>Ask if he has any information about the Namekian on Planet Cereal, who they are and what allegiances they might have. And for just a flash, you see the sudden panic behind his eyes. Confirming your suspicion that Elec doesn't care about the mercenary or your people, but that his ultimate goal is in fact the Dragon Balls.“That's reasonable. We don't want him being held prisoner, to enable Granolah's further use of the Dragon Balls to gain even greater power.” Elec says, then freezes as he realizes what he said.“Wait. He used the Dragon Balls for power?” you ask, seeing Elec panic for a split-second. “How do you know of this?”“Th-! That's simple.” he replies, taking a calming breath as he then addresses you. “The fool bragged about it. That is how I learned of the Cerelean homeworld having a Namekian. I asked him how he so-quickly surpassed by brother in power, and he told me everything.”Elec gestures to Gas, as you see his other siblings behind Elec looking nervous. But Gas's expression doesn't change, aside from slightly clenching his fists. Jaw tightening, as he bites down on whatever he's thinking.“And Granolah let us leave, so we could deliver the message that he wants you, General Karn.” Elec continues, voice smoothing out. “He wants to defeat you, to crush you. And do so publicly. To hold your broken body up before the universe and declare himself the best.”“Heh. Fool doesn't know what he's asking.” you reply, Elec shaking his head.“No, General Karn. This is serious.” his tone suddenly shifts, a new look in his eyes. “He told us his wish. It was after the tournament, after you showed off that power of yours against Jiren. He told us his wish. He wished to be the strongest in the entire universe. Stronger than Chaya, stronger than Freeza, stronger even than you.”cont

With your war finished, those who tried to destroy your race held accountable for their own sins, your people started on a new path, that of defenders and not conquerors. >>6354518“What do you think, hun?” you ask, turning to your wife. To which she blinks, once. “Think we should go with them, or should we take another way?”“I, hmmm. Maybe.” your wife replies, crossing her arms. Making a show of thinking, bringing one hand to her chin. “Taking a week away could be nice, but we have too many obligations here to justify that kind of time away.”“More urgent than...?” Elec mutters, but your wife pays him no mind. Instead still thinking to herself a moment before turning to you.“I think we should let them go, and when they make it send the signal.” your wife says aloud. “That way we can continue doing what we need to do here, then when it's time to confront Granolah they can call us. We can teleport over, deal with Granolah, take the Namekian to Namek, then head back home.”“I agree. Sounds like a good plan.” you say to your wife with a smile, turning back to Elec. “If you all would head back towards Planet Cereal and give us a call when you've arrived, we'll deal with your little problem.”“Understood. Thank you, General Karn. Lady Meloka. I shall send word when we're within sight of Planet Cereal.” Elec says, bowing to you both before rising and turning and calling out to his people. “We're leaving. Right now.”“Now? But-?” the woman starts, only to be silenced by a look from Elec. The big one shrugs, following Elec as well. But Gas doesn't move, staring you down. And, as if sensing this, Elec turns back.“What is it, Gas?” Elec asks. “Everything alright?”“I want to fight him.” the smaller Heeter says, tone serious. “I want to see if he has what it takes to fight Granolah.”“Gas, what are you saying?” Elec says, voice low as he storms back to his short brother. “We're leaving. Now.”“Hold on. You said you wanted to fight me, huh?” you ask, looking down at Gas. “Interesting. You want to go all-out, show me the power you've been concealing since you arrived? Or just fight at this level, and let us guess how strong one another is?”“General Karn, please. There's no need for this.” he says, then whispers something to Gas. But there's a look in the smallest Heeter's eye, something that catches your attention. You can see it, he thinks he can beat you. He thinks he'd be better to beat Granolah than you.cont

But I do want to see how powerful Gas really is.”And in a flash of emerald light you transform. Not wasting time as you ascend, powering up straight into your Berserker God form. Aura blazing, lightning crackling around you as you now tower over everyone present. Both in power and size, dwarfing everyone. Yet your transformation is so controlled you don't even crack the tile of the floor, showing off your mastery of this form.“But let's take this outside. This building's a place for running a city, not for destroying it as collateral damage in a friendly spar.” you continue, turning your back on them all and gesturing for them to follow you as you head towards the double doors. With a thought you focus your ki sense, and finding the arena empty decide to head there. Walking out, you then take to the air, Meloka following close, the Heeters all behind her as you all fly over. Your wife landing off the arena floor proper, the other two Heeters landing in the stands. Which are filling rapidly, dozens of people flying over as they felt an unfamiliar power and Karn going to the ring.“Very well. Take him down, Gas.” Elec says confidently, patting his brother's shoulder. Then, to your surprise takes off Gas's headband. “Don't hold back. Show them all just how powerful you are.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RPreJw3SjwAnd Elec IMMEDIATELY dashes away, flying full-speed towards the stands like he just armed a bomb. Gas clenches his fists, and immediately you feel his power spiking.“Haaaaaaaa! HRRRRRRR!!” Gas shouts, aura blazing as his power begins to spike. Arena ground cracking beneath his feet as his strength swells, his body rapidly expanding and matching the spike in his power. Just like your own Berserker forms, his body grows more powerful and his eyes white out, strength skyrocketing higher and higher. “GAAAAAAAAH!!”“Oh?” you reply, taking your fighting stance as his power soars. Easily even clearing your own Berserker strength. But not your Ascended Berserker form, much less what you are now. Yet, this surge of power is impressive, especially considering the power gap the last time you'd met and helped the Heeters reclaim their home. “Well well, this could be fun!”cont
>>6354600“RRRAAAAAAAAA!!” Gas bellows, veins bulging, aura blazing wildly as he roars at you, immediately charging in and swinging a wild right. It isn't as uncontrolled as you've seen from some others, he's clearly a practiced fighter himself. But still, the wild swing is easy enough to predict, no feints or setup. Rushing in with only raw power and aggression. Which is all too easy to deal with as you step forward with your right, deflecting his punch with your left arm, forearm to forearm. Diverting his strike out over your shoulder as you twist your hips, punching him up in the guts with a short right uppercut. Doubling the Heeter over as you hear him wheeze, following it up with a left straight square to the face. Snapping his head back, dropping him and sending him sliding across the stage. You don't put a lot of power behind it, because with one punch you could probably kill him like this. But to your surprise, your blow barely leaves a mark, Gas rolling over onto all fours and immediately rushing straight back at you again. Moving even faster, strength continuing to rise as his more-bestial nature takes over. “GRRAAAAAAA!!”With a roar Gas fires off another wild, heavy right. One that you dodge by stepping back with your right leg and spinning clockwise around his fist. Letting his strike hit only air, the shock wave from his punch washing over the gathered crowd as your turning left overhand lands square in the horn covering the right side of Gas' face. Dropping him, bouncing the Heeter off the arena tiles that shatter from the impact. Following up by continuing your momentum into a spinning right back kick square to his chest. Knocking Gas backwards again, sending him tumbling across the stage. Nearly rolling off the ring, but catching himself at the edge.“Come on Gas, you can do it!” the female Heeter cheers from behind him.“Don't give up, give him hell!” the large, portly Heeter cheers as well. But Elec remains silent, eyes judgmental as he watches his younger brother fight you. Sizing you up, as if he can tell the exact gap in both power and skill between you and his brother. “Deck 'em!”“Not bad.” you tell him, bouncing on your feet, rolling your shoulders as you move to get the blood pumping before retaking your fighting stance. “Now, show me what you've got!”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 paused-

Seeing your four youngest children are all watching, Kayle the one who shouted at you. “You can do it!”“Heh.” you exhale, giving your kids a thumbs-up as Gas rises, roaring once more. Aura blazing even higher, strength surging before you feel him gather his energy. Forming a large, spiked ball-like hammer out of some sort of metal before charging once more. Swinging the ki construct weapon with a roar, infusing it with his radiant pink ki. “Oh?”“HAAAAAA!” Gas roars, swinging it down at you with his full power. But you don't dodge, planting your feet and bracing yourself. Reaching up with both hands, catching the created mace in both hands. Stopping his attack short, but the force transferred through your body from his swing shatters the fighting stage beneath your feet. “Huh?”“Tch! Not bad. But I've seen this technique from my kids.” you retort, diverting the mace into the ground by your right side, then kicking off the ground and driving your left elbow into his face. Snapping Gas' head back, staggering him as you follow up with a turning right kick to his ribs as his arms raise to defend his head from the follow-up he thinks was coming. Your kick landing in his unguarded side, sending him flying off on your left side, again dropping him. Sending him sliding across the tile, not immediately rising as he slides to a stop. Slowly lowering your leg, you watch as Gas' body trembles, then the Heeter pushes himself up to his feet. Turning to you with a snarl, spitting blood onto the stage before clenching his fists once more. Aura blazing, power surging as he powers up even more, strength continuing to rise. “Still got more, huh? Then let's see what you've got! HAAAA!”And with a shout of your own, you power up as well. Closing the distance and swinging with a heavy right for the third time at your head. But this time you don't block, don't dodge or weave. Instead you simply wait, letting him rush in and swing. And his fist lands clean, slamming into your energy. But that's all his strike does. The energy of his punch is absorbed by your armor, your body not budging. “Haah?”“Is that all you've got?” you reply, grinning down at him. “Come on, hit me like you MEAN IT!”“HRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” Gas roars, unleashing a barrage of strikes against your chest. Swinging wild, heavy blows against your chest, trying to rock you, trying to MOVE you. But your energy absorbs the power of his strikes, over and over. He attacks relentlessly, growing more and more visibly frustrated as his attacks prove ineffectual. “GRRRRR! GYAAAAH! HRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!”But as you watch him swing, over and over and over, you realize that this match is basically over. Even at his fullest power, he can't budge you. With a final roar he swings, right fist landing square against your sternum, but you don't budge again. Gas then leaps back, conjuring another weapon. This one a four-pronged spear, thrusting it at you. Aiming to pierce through your shoulders and thighs, the spear slams into your Energy Body. But your shield holds against the piercing weapon, Gas' attack unable to pierce through. He keeps pushing, trying to force his piercing attack to punch through your armor, only for the weapon in his hands to shatter. Unable to withstand the force, breaking into pieces in his hands. Gas' eyes widen in shock, looking down at his hands, stunned. And before he can react, you swing. Stepping in, swinging a right hook into his temple. Dropping Gas, who collapses bonelessly to the ground. And as you watch, his body shrinks. Reverting back down to his usual, tiny size.“Phew.” you sigh out, relaxing your power and letting your Energy Body fade as Elec flies down, landing beside his brother. “He did pretty well, all things considered. Didn't expect him to put up that much of a fight. When he wakes up, tell him that.”“I will.” Elec replies, only for Caulifla to fly down as well. Your daughter whispering a few words before her deep purple light to radiate from her. That icy energy infusing the Heeters, healing Gas' wounds before she stands up.“Clothes Beam.” she says, pointing a finger at the downed Heeter, restoring his clothes to how they were before his transformation shredded them. “There. Figured out who led the mission against Planet Cereal.” he thinks to you. “That mission was led by Nappa's team. However, in the after-action report, there's a bit of an oddity.”“Oddity?” you reply, and can feel the king's confusion through the link as he reads off to you what happened. Everything went fine the day of the full moon, as this battle happened back before the widespread adoption of Power Balls. In fact, it happened just a few months after your people settled on your new homeworld of New Salda. At the same time as when you, Meloka and Ubo had left your world to go negotiate with the Ctarl-Ctarl.“Yes. And during that battle, on request, accompanying Nappa's team was your father.” King Vegeta continues seriously. “However, there was one warrior who simply disappeared after the conflict. He'd been reported as alive after the battle, but when everyone left his ship didn't join them. It remained on Planet Cereal.“That's... Huh. Any report on the Scouter's feed?” you reply, and can almost feel the king shaking his head.“No luck. Whatever happened, it's a dead end. Omat was never found.” King Vegeta tells you, but something in his mind makes you think there's more to it. So, you push.“Never found? But she isn't aimed to go north, turning instead towards Vegeta City. “We'll catch up later!”And before you can ask what's going on she's already gone, blasting off towards the capitol city. Leaving your city behind, heading north across the breadth of the continent. Passing over the deep forest, going further and further north as the air turns colder. And there, in a clearing long ago cleared by stomping Oozaru feet is Nappa. But he's not wielding the Golden Oozaru form, no. Instead he's wielding a power far greater, one you recognize as you drop down out of the air, landing by him.“Well well, look at you. Primal Nappa.” you say as he turns, giving you a wolfish grin.“Felt your battle earlier. Dunno who that runt was, but he's surprisingly strong.” Nappa replies with a grin. “So, what's the deal?”“That was the Heeters, the smallest of them.” you reply, seeing his expression turn from friendly to confusion to shock in a second. You then fill in the story, why they're here and what happened, everything before asking him directly. “King Vegeta said you'd lead the attack on Planet Cereal personally. And now that we got one left, need to know what I'm up against.”“One of them survived, huh?” he asks, bringing a hand to his chin. “Yeah, I remember 'em. They all had these red right eyes, and were annoyingly accurate. Even if you tried to dodge, they'd still snipe you with their energy attacks. One even sniped the planet's moon, trying to stop us by blowing it up completely. But thanks to your father, Tatsu, his Power Ball replaced the moon and we were able to finish rampaging through the Namekians and Cereleans alike. Thought we wiped 'em all out, must have missed a youngling then, as they were decently powerful warriors and the Scouters would have found a warrior.”cont
>>6354870“Wait, those special eyes made them more accurate?” you ask, filing that information away for later. “Oh, absolutely. Even when we were the same size, no matter how well I'd evade, their attacks almost always found me.”“Almost? How did you avoid them?” you ask, to which he grins.“If you blow their attacks up before they reach you, then they missed.” he says with a smug grin, then a laugh before turning more serious. “But, seriously, they were scary accurate. If one of them survived, and is stronger than that guy you were fighting... Don't drop your guard. Even though they were weaker than us, substantially so, their attacks still hurt like hell. Hell, even as OOZARU their attacks still packed a punch.”“Anything else you can tell me about that mission?” you ask him, brows furrowing. “Anything else happen?”“Now that you mention it, we never did find Omat.” he replies, his own brows furrowing. “We all survived the battle, enjoyed feasting up on them and the Namekians. But when we left, he never joined us. I always thought he must have just succumbed to his injuries in the night or the next morning. But if there's a Cerelean alive...”“Maybe they finished him off.” you reply, but then another thought comes to mind. One that stops you for a moment. “Or, perhaps, someone ELSE was on that planet. Someone, or someTHING that hates our kind beyond reason. Found a lone Saiyan and killed him, to protect their hiding place.”“Shit, Karn, you're not suggesting...?” he starts, unable to finish the sentence.“Right now, there's no way to tell.” you reply, clenching your fists. “But if it's possible, I'd bet that bastard Nefarious is still somehow behind this. >Full-blooded Saiyans are named after vegetables>Omat's name comes from Tomato, much like Toma (Bardock's deceased squadmate) and Karn's own child Tomi>Tomatoes are generally referred to as vegetables despite actually being fruit>Tuffles (and some PTO races) are named after fruitsI have a few new paranoid theories with these facts in mind.>1. Omat may be related to Toma (as they share similar names and would be around the same age), and was perhaps disillusioned with or even vengeful against the PTO after his death>2. Omat is/was perhaps a Saiyan/Tuffle hybrid, as he was likely born on Planet Vegeta/Planet Plant before or shortly after the Tuffles were eradicated and technically shares their naming conventions>3. Omat may have been the one to save Granolah, perhaps dying in the process or voluntarily leaving the PTO afterwardsThankfully we have a week (or at least a few days) before we confront Granolah directly, so we have time to ask around and get a clearer picture of what happened and what's actually going on. I think it would be a great idea to hit up Raven and see if we can't get in touch with Old Man Tatsu at the Check-In Station to the Other World or something and ask about this. While we're there, we might be able to confirm whether or not Omat is actually dead as well.
>>6354991>implying Saiyans know tomatoes aren't a vegetableI'll only say this, as far as Omat goes: He's really dead and gone, and you may have already met his killer.
>>6354984shit, thanks for reminding me to go do that voting thing>Omat is/was perhaps a Saiyan/Tuffle hybridI'm sorry, but I just can't believe that at all, ever. So many mysteries.>Curious what really happened on Planet Cereal 22 years ago, Yes.>to finally meet Granolah and learn of his wish?Yes. If he already made his wish that reduces his life to 1 year or something, does it means he is past the point of no return?>Do you think you can take him by yourself, or will you need backup?I think it’s a challenge, but I’m not sure if Karn can win this alone. People talk as if Granolah became so super strong that as I understand he is stronger than Karn, Jiren and bigger threat than Doom. We will see if he is really like that. I think it’s better go there with allies. Then again what if Granolah could be a challenge that will allow Karn to push himself further past his current maximum to rise to a greater power? Can Karn win this himself? It is not certain but there is a chance for this.By the way is this going to be filmed by Vox? Probably not. Though I kind of think that if Chaya heard about how strong Granolah became she probably would want to fight him even if there would be no camera to film it. >And is this the main plot of the arc, or is this only the opening act? It’s just Granolah and nothing else. All attention will be on Granolah. Surely nobody evil will think that it is a great opportunity to advance their Sinister Schemes while people who won Tournament of Power are busy with a new big threat.> All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest! How is Arctus doing when it comes to uncovering the secrets from the head of Dr. Myuu?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 Intermission-AGE 780, CHAMPA'S PLANET“KAAAALE! We're alive!” Caulifla shouts, rushing over to her more timid sister and grabbing her by the shoulders, shaking her.“Cauliflaaaa!” Kale cries out as you look around in confusion. The last thing you remember was Victor von Doom's battle with the Seventh Universe, fighting them all on his own. Giving his all, only for him to eventually be overcome by the Seventh's large number of powerful warriors. You all had underestimated the Seventh, and had lost. But Champa, the Destroyer God of the Universe, had planned for this. Cutting a deal with the Seventh, one they clearly upheld as you have been returned to existence.“Banner! We art returned!” Thor shouts, you turning to him, watching as Thor salutes then turns to Doom. Placing a hand on his armored shoulder. “Doom! Thou fought valiantly, and with honor! T'was a glorious bout!”“Tch. Glory.” Doom sneers, pulling away from Thor and taking several steps from the rest of you. His back turned to you all, body language reading barely-restrained fury as he crosses his arms. “There is no glory in defeat.”“Hey, c'mon! Don't be like that! If we all hadn't fallen earlier, If we'd been there to back you up, you wouldn't have been-” Cabba, the male Saiyan says, only for Doom to whirl around on him. Eyes blazing.“You presume that YOU would have been of aid to DOOM?” Victor snarls, fire in his tone. But Cabba, to his credit doesn't back down, the short Saiyan meeting his fury with calm certainty.“If you didn't have to fight almost their entire team by themselves, if we were there to hold them back so you could eliminate their team one by one, we would have absolutely won.” Cabba replies, meeting Doom's gaze evenly. “The only reason they could best you was there were still seven of them in the ring.”“Precisely! Fret not, ol' chum. Thou didst thine best!” Thor shouts, you glancing over to see he's now got a frothing mug of something in hand. Somehow.“You all fought well. And we survived, which is the most important part.” Champa replies, you all turning to the Destroyer God. “We may not have won that little tournament, but we did better than every other universe beside my brother's. As much as I wanted to wipe that arrogant smirk off his smug face, second place out of eight isn't bad, that's top quarter. And next time, we'll win!”“Huuuuuh?! Next time?” Caulifla shouts, voice aggressive. “Whaddaya mean, next time?”
>>6356329“I believe he means that, after how much fun the ruler in charge of the tournament seemed to have, it's highly likely a sequel performance will be asked of all participating universes.” you say, everyone looking to you. “No doubt with different rules and venue, but considering the pattern of calling for a second tournament between our universes after the first and how the rules were changed, it's safe to say the next one will be an even larger spectacle.”“Precisely.” Vados says with a smile, leaning her head slightly as her praise slightly unsettles you. “Grand Zen-Oh will likely seek to establish another larger, grander tournament after the success of this one.”“And we'll win the next one!” Caulifla shouts, suddenly grabbing her fellow Saiyans in headlocks. “C'mon, we gotta get to training! I gotta get to that next level, that power beyond Blue Chaya and her mom were showing off! So do you Cabba, next time we'll clobber the Seventh Universe!”“HA! I like this one!” Thor smirks, raising a hand and calling his hammer to his hand. It lands after only a few seconds in his palm with a thud. “Come, Banner! We shall join them!”“What, me?” you reply, only to feel Hulk in your mind grinning, popping imaginary knuckles in anticipation.“Of course! You an' Kale got that same sorta energy, and the other guy'll help her control hers!” Caulifla shouts excitedly. “Right Kale?”“R-Right! And I ha-have to find that level further beyond!” she says, less timid now. Only for you to glance at Vados, and see her face shift. That same, unreadable expression she'd had when Karn first took that form in the tournament, caught the glances of the angels nervously to one another when he'd transformed. Something Doom also noticed, and decides to bring up.“Angel, what was that power? The one the Saiyan Karn used?” he asks her directly. “What can you tell us of it?”“Very little is known, I'm afraid.” another now-familiar voice speaks, everyone freezing at the authority in the tone. You all turn, seeing none other than Grand Zen-Oh's own personal angel, the Grand Priest hovering there. Champa immediately bows deeply at the waist.“G-G-Good to see you Grand Priest! You're not here to undo the Seventh's wish, are you?” he asks, panicked. And at his question you feel your own blood run cold. You'd never considered the possibility that Grand Zen-Oh would KEEP the erased universes erased, even after the wish was granted. But this new, terrifying reality settles in, one that nearly makes you step back in impotent fear. But then he laughs, a soft, easy tone.
>>6356330“No, the Seventh chose a benevolent wish, so it was honored.” the Grand Priest says, everyone aside from Vados letting out a sigh of relief. “But, not only was your universe spared; so were all the others.”“Huuh?!” Champa asks, looking up as he shouts in confusion. “Whadda ya mean?”“Precisely what I said. General Karn's wish was for all the universes defeated in the Tournament of Power to be revived.” he says, your mind immediately buzzing with possibilities. “All seven of the defeated universes have been near-fully restored.”“Hold on, near-fully restored?” you ask, brows furrowed. “What does 'near-fully' mean, precisely?”“An excellent question. Observe.” he says, holding up his hand, projecting what happened after the tournament finished and Karn made his wish.“Our wish is to bring back all of the universes erased in this tournament.” he says, then continues. “All except for those who betrayed their own universes, or those from other timelines.”“Those from other timelines? Who would break time law like that?” Champa asks, clearly confused. “But who betrayed their own universe?”“Karn of the Seventh had clearly intended to prevent Moro, of the Tenth from returning. As well as the Tenth's temporary Destroyer, who is also from another time. But Moro severed all ties with the Seventh, tied himself to the Tenth. And, as we speak, has been named their new Destroyer.”“Hold on, that goat freak's now a Destroyer God?!” Caulifla exclaims, then when Grand Priest nods grabs her fellow Saiyans. “C'mon, we're leaving! We gotta go get even stronger, strong enough that when the next tournament comes, we'll definitely win! I'll find that power beyond Blue, and find a level even beyond that! I won't be playing catch-up to the Seventh's power, but surpassing it! Right Kale?”“Right!” she replies, the trio marching out of the building. No doubt intending to start their training then and there.“On behalf of Grand Zen-Oh, I congratulate your universe on your skill, strategy, valor, and foresight.” Grand Priest says to you all. “May you continue improving your own universe, and serving Grand Zen-Oh. Farewell.”And just like that he's gone. No flash of light or thrum of power, just gone as quickly as he'd arrived. But your mind is already awash with theories and mysteries, dissecting the intricacies of the Seventh's wish. There's more going on, more than you know. And you intend to figure out exactly what, and be ready.“Banner solve mystery. Hulk smash problems.” Hulk says in your mind, you grinning. Because of course. You're not alone. And, together, you and Hulk can overcome anything. Even Karn's mysterious power, and whatever greater plots are happening across the universes.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 Intermission End-
>>6356331You know, you'd think maybe Garnd Popdre would see the existential threat Moro poses and maybe just ice the fucker but I guess he suffers from the same hands-off retard-disease that most "higher beings" seem to have.

Can they be changed enough so that Koruza, Milha and Maza would be allowed to participate? I mean their father is from this timeline and from Universe 7 so I think we could hopefully allow them because of that. They have a real connection to this timeline and universe. I really hope they will be allowed.I think Zeno would be very happy if we allowed them into the tournament. For example look at Koruza he has so much aura. They can prepare. It can no longer by group of random fighters quickly gathered together but a real teams. Universe 6 was doing great even in such situation. Now they train with this in mind and prepare for this. Everyone saw how great of a team Universe 7 was. It is almost guaranteed that they will try to do this too.If next Tournament of Power really happens Universe 6 will by much, much stronger than it already was.>>6356592>transmission breaks down again todaySad to hear it. However, Ace and Future Chaya would still not be permitted to enter, having no direct lineage to anyone -of- this timeline.True, and with all three of their different forms as well, he'd certainly enjoy their showing.A power that's once-a-reality isn't something they'd just have knowledge of.No. No outside interference, he'd be given a single warning at the start and erased if detected.True. >>6354872Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:After Elec and the Heeters' arrival, bringing their warning of the Cerelean mercenary Granolah seeking the destruction of the Saiyans and Freeza, Karn spars with the strongest of the Heeters, Gas. Who unleashed his inner beast, yet even at his full power, Karn still easily handled him. And after besting the Heeter, Karn had one week before they would arrive at Planet Cereal where Granolah waits. And as we rejoin Karn, you've been talking with Nappa about his mission on Planet Cereal all those years ago.“You really think it's him? Think that bastard Nefarious is somehow back?” he asks you, a hint of fear in his eyes.“I don't know. But, this just reeks of his kind of bullshit.” you reply, brow furrowing. “A single Saiyan goes missing after a successful mission? Wait, did his ship ever return?”“No, at least it didn't come back with us.” he replies, eyes suddenly going wide. “Shit, if that ship left later...”“It would still be designated as one of ours.” you finish, the two of you having the same thoughts. “We need to find that ship.”“I'm sure Vegeta's on it, going through all the information.” Nappa replies, but his expression is still worried. “I just wonder where it went?”“Either it's still on-world, which means he was killed. Or it left, and whoever killed him is out there.” you reply, but even as you do, you can't help but feel that your assumption's missing... Something. You aren't sure what, but you know you're missing key details. “But I don't think this Granolah did it.”“You sure?” Nappa asks, you nodding. “Why?”“If he was the one who did it, then stole an Attack Pod to go around killing our kind, we'd have heard about it.” you reply. “No, I think there's more going on here than we know.”“That's for sure.” Nappa answers, cracking his neck. “So, was that all you wanted to know? Who takes it, the two of you shaking once before you lift your right hand to your forehead. Focusing on Towa's ki, and teleporting to her side. Finding her back in her usual seat, no longer in the same observation deck where Milha'd obtained that new form. But you can still sense her down deeper in the lab, still transformed as well. “Towa. Eyes wide in surprise. “What did you say?”“Planet Cereal. I need to know what happened.” you tell her, seeing the torrent of thoughts suddenly blaze behind her eyes.“Tell me everything you know.” she says, turning fully from her screen to face you. Expression serious, her usual playful demeanor gone. And so you tell her everything, from the Heeters' arrival and your spar with Gas, to what Elec told you of the Cerelean Granolah and the planet's Dragon Balls, and what King Vegeta's told you so far. Then, when you get to Nappa's accounting of what happened, her expression darkens. “So. One Saiyan went missing, there's a living Cerelean, and Bardock wasn't involved this time...”“Wait, Bardock?” you ask, but she's already turned her attention from you back to her computer. Dozens of windows opening and closing, until you see a fight. One where a familiar-looking Gas, in his rampaging, monstrous form is fighting Bardock. Tail ripped clean off, beaten and battered, but neither fighter giving an inch. “What the hell?”“This is what happened in my own timeline.” Towa explains as you watch the back-and-forth battle. “I'll have to do a bit of digging to figure out how things went in your own. If he does...”“Don't worry. We'll handle this.” you tell her seriously. “But, if you can find out what happened to Omat, I'd appreciate it.”“I will. I'll let you know when I have something.” she replies, then stops. Turning fully to face you once more. Expression... Strange. Face a mask you've not seen before. “And, Karn. When you face Granolah, you'll learn how he has increased his powers to such an insane degree in such a short span. The shortcut he took to achieve greater power. And you will have a choice. To continue as you have been, building your strength on your own. Or to take an easy path. If you had the chance to obtain ultimate power, would you pay the cost? >>6356904You watch Towa typing for a moment, deciding where to go next. But you already know, deep down. So, with a thought you reach out as you head out of Towa's lab.“Raven, we need to talk.” you think to her. “I need your help.”“Of course.” comes the reply, something in your gut telling you she already knows what you're going to ask. You leave your ship behind, taking to the air and flying across the sea. Flying out over the waves, through the spray of the sea as you fly across the planet. Seeing your world's Guardian's island in the distance, you rapidly approaching her energy signature. Slowing as you approach, flying to a stop and landing gently on the sandy beach. Where you see her in her usual spot, hovering over the former Guardian's favorite rock. “Karn.”“Raven.” you reply, rising up to your full height. “You know what's been going on?”“Yes, I've been paying attention. And I think I know what you want.” she answers, brows furrowing. “You wish to see if I can let you see your father, yes?”“Yeah. You brought him back so he could see Chilli's daughter's birthday. Can we bring him back again? I have something important we need to talk about.” you ask her, Raven shaking her head.“I'm sorry. But that's a one-time privilege. A singular 24 hour pass to the mortal realm.” she says, eyes apologetic. “I cannot bring your father back. However, we could take a visit to the afterlife. I could bring you to the Otherworld check-in station, to see if King Yemma would permit the meeting.”“King Yemma?” you ask, brow raised in confusion.“He is the deity in charge of the afterlife, in charge of judging souls and sending them to their appropriate afterlives.” Raven explains as she rises up, landing on her feet with practiced ease. Raising one hand, opening a portal in the air. “Are you ready?”cont
>>6356932“One second.” you reply, sending a quick telepathic message to your wife letting you know what you're doing. She sends back, “Be careful,” to which you tell her you will. “Ready.”“Then let's go.” she says, and without her feet touching the ground floats through the portal. You follow her, stepping through her magical energy. And find yourself in quite a strange place. With white and green walls marked with red symbols, yellow tiles easily five square foot each, and a red carpet going up to an absolutely massive desk. Two lesser demons stand at the ready on either side of it, where an Oozaru-sized red-skinned demon sits. Holding a book in one hand, chin resting in the other holding his pen. The giant being's wearing a purple suit and hat with horns on it, the hat's horns nearly the size of you. “King Yemma. A moment, if you could spare it.”“Ah, Raven. Hello.” King Yemma says, turning from his book to her. Freezing in place when he sees you, eyes going wide. “K-Karn? Did someone actually, finally manage to kill you?”“Not today, King Yemma. I'm here to talk to my father.” you reply, the giant's brow raising. Before he can speak, Raven speaks up.“He needs to ask his father about a certain battle that Karn wasn't a part of. When his people wiped out almost all of the Cereleans.” she tells him, then continues as her tone shifts, catching his attention. “He wishes to ask his father what happened.”“That's too bad, he's too busy for idle chatter right now.” King Yemma says, a note of finality in his voice. “There's something going down in Hell right now, he can't be spared for a simple conversation.”Well? How do you respond to this?>Power up to your Berserker God form, tell him you're GOING to see your father. This is quite unorthodox. Howev-” he starts, only for the ground beneath you all to suddenly rumble. Your brows furrow, crouching slightly to absorb the trembling so you don't lose your balance. “I've decided. Aid us, and I shall facilitate this meeting.”“Done. What's the problem?” you ask, his expression changing as he nods, one of the small demons running off through a side door. Coming back with an ancient-looking, boxy screen, turning it on to reveal a face you'd hoped would never see again. Seething through gritted teeth as you clench your fists. Aura visibly flaring around you. “Demongo!”“Oh, so you're aware of this monster? Good.” King Yemma says with a nod. “He is currently in Hell, absorbing the souls of as many deceased warriors as he-”“Enough talk, I have to hurry!” you shout, aura blazing now. “Which way?”“Straight through that door, jump off the pass and you'll fall straight down to-” King Yemma starts, but you don't wait for him to finish. Charging through the door, immediately leaping off the path that seemingly goes on forever as you leap down. Flying down through familiar-seeming clouds, you find a hell that isn't what you expected. What look like jagged trees, a mountain made entirely of spikes, and even what appears to be a large lake of blood. But as you fly down, you realize that this isn't a peaceful afterlife, but a war zone. And as you see this, you immediately hear a voice from below roar in challenge.“YOU!!” it bellows, you looking down just in time to see a Sangheili fist suddenly appear in the air, the rest of the golden-armored body phasing into existence as it lands a solid uppercut to your jaw. The blow snaps your head back a bit, but lacks the power to send you flying. And as you slowly lower your head, you recognize the being before you with the scarred eye you gave them. Smirking in recognition.“Well well, what have we here?” you reply, grabbing the first Arbiter you'd killed's arm, squeezing it hard enough to make him wince. “Never thought I'd get to kick your ass AGAIN.”cont
>>6356993“BASTARD!” he snarls again, swinging with his other fist. But this time you're ready, catching his hand with your other free hand, then kick him in the chest. Your boot slams into his golden armor, sending him rocketing down towards the lake of blood down below. Landing with a massive splash, the warriors fighting down below all freezing and looking up towards you.“Demongo! I have come for you!” you roar, clenching your fists and ascending with a roar. “HRRRRAAAAAAAA!!”With your shout you ascend, taking on your Berserker God form once more. Immediately after, you hear Demongo giving orders to his enslaved souls.“Kill him! Take that filthy Ssssaiyan down!” he shouts from somewhere down below. You can't identify Demongo from this high up. >>6356994“Raven, get everyone out of here who's not currently under that monster's control.” you think to Raven, taking your fighting stance as hundreds of thousands of former Covenant Sangheili all fly up at you simultaneously. By themselves, each is only in the tens of millions range in power, but there's one standout you sense in the first wave.“Understood, leave it to me.” she replies, ending the link.“Divine Dragon Force, keep your eyes peeled.” you continue. “Can't let any other Stands get a hold of us, we've fought some dangerous Stands before.”“Right.” your Stand replies as it re-materializes around your right fist. And as one you charge, dashing down into the approaching horde. Charging straight into thousands of Sangheili, hundreds of who start creating blades from their own energy to replicate their Energy Blades they'd used in life. “GWROOOOOAAAAAR!”“HRRRRAAAAA!!” you roar along with your Stand, the two of you charging their forces head-on. And at this level, the battle isn't even close. You and your Stand charge forward, Divine Dragon Force enveloping you as you rocket forward. Knocking aside the Sangheili like falling leaves before a hurricane, dashing straight through their ranks to the strongest powerlevel you can sense below. Knocking aside the various colored armors of the splitjaws as you blast through them. Flying down through the approaching horde, where you see two men with halos over their heads fighting back-to-back. One is a larger, muscular man with missing limbs covered in scars firing beams from his one good hand while a smaller, white-robed creature fires cyclonic waves of flames from his joined fists with a shout of “THUNDER FLASH!” Both are clearly exhausted, yet refusing to back down.“TATSU!” you shout, dashing down towards your father. And hearing your voice he freezes, then looks up in shock. Taking his attention from the fight, allowing a half-dozen Sangheili to launch towards him. But you're faster, closing the distance and slamming your fist through ALL of them in one fell swoop. Landing before your father as they turn to that black smoke, which is seemingly sucked back somewhere off to your right as you rise back up to your full height.“Karn? The hells you doin' down here, boy?” he asks, firing another wave of ki through several other phantom warriors.“Needed to talk with you about an old mission.” you reply, firing a Death Slash from your left hand's first finger, cutting down a score of the Sangheili before looking over your shoulder at him. “Try and remember back to Planet Cereal, while I wrap this up.”cont
>>6357035“Planet Cereal?” he asks, confused. But before he can say anything else, one of Raven's portals appear between you both.“Pikkon, Tatsu, please head through the portal.” King Yemma's voice comes through.“Right. I'll remember.” your father replies, not arguing and heading through. The other fighter fires one more blast, before turning to you.“Demongo is the source. If we can find him-” Pikkon starts, you interrupting.“I beat him in the mortal realm. Now, go.” you order, the man not wasting any time and stepping through. Raven's portal shutting, leaving you surrounded.“There you are!” another Sangheili shouts, but this time your instincts SCREAM at you in warning. Turning, you see another golden-armored Sangheili, this one with no armor on his left arm. Immediately remembering his Stand, how itdestroys anything his left touches and leap back. Smashing through a dozen Sangheili before sliding to a stop, facing the warrior you'd fought before. “You have grown stronger, General Karn. But I cannot lose.”“I killed you before, when I was much weaker. I'll end this in one blow.” you reply, dashing in in a blur. And before he can even react you've backhanded chopped through his neck, head rolling across the ground and falling into the bloody lake. Only for his body to dissolve into mist, streaming back towards Demongo.“KILL HIM!!” Demongo shrieks, clearly worried that you're going to stop him again. “STOP HIM!!”“That's everyone.” Raven then thinks to you. “Pikkon and Tatsu were the last two fighting, everyone else's been taken. Be careful.”But what do you do? How do you find and defeat Demongo?>Keep cutting down the soldiers, follow their smoke back to the source and use Divine Dragon Force to end Demongo for good>Use your Stand's new power, to try and free all these trapped souls from his influence>Super Explosive Wave, obliterate EVERYTHING around you until you fry him as well>Use your energy attacks to thin the herd, to cut down his captured souls faster than he can re-summon them until he's easy to find and cut down>Other(write in)?

Tossing both orbs up, each separating into your Scattershots. Hundreds of blasts suddenly fill the sky over you, each one striking one of the Sangheili above. Your blasts all detonating near-simultaneously, cutting down thousands of them in a blink of an eye. But you don't stop there, spinning and firing Death Slashes in wide arcs around you, cutting down those on the ground as well. And in less than five seconds tens of thousands of spectral, consumed soul warriors vanish. Reduced to smoke, flying back off towards your left now. Turning that way, you start carving a path of destruction. Firing Death and X Slashes, Scatter Beams, Energy Javelins and Scattershots, you carve through tens of thousands of captured souls in seconds. The bodies of warriors past turning back to smoke, drawn back to their source of Demongo. Who, no doubt able to see or sense you carving a path through his summoned beings, shouts with increasing alarm.“SSSSStop him! Don't let him clossse in on me!” he calls out, but as you get closer, something in his tone sets off your alarm bells. He doesn't sound as sincere as he did when you appeared, almost as if he's putting on an act. Perhaps trying to draw you in, to get you close enough to fall into some sort of trap. And as you cut your way through hundreds, thousands of beings a second, you draw closer and closer towards him. Only to suddenly have your instincts scream at you that you're in danger, leaping off the ground. Seeing a shadow that had nearly thrust a hand into your own shadow, but as you leapt into the air, your aura's blazing brightness dispelled your shadow instantly.“Tch! Forgot that one.” you mutter, cutting down dozens, scores of Sangheili, Grey, and countless other beings you'd slaughtered in your time. Only for the mist to coalesce into a massive form, that giant lizard Nefarious had sent to New Salda with the crystals growing from it bellowing in challenge.“GRRRREEOOOOONK!” it roars, then fires a red lightning-like beam of energy from its mouth right at you.“Barrier!” you shout in response, forming your shield. Allowing the monster's attack to obliterate those try to approach, your ki shielding you from the blast.cont
>>6357084The monster ends the attack, and you immediately go on the offensive. Gathering your ki into your right hand as you drop your Barrier, drawing it back over your shoulder, you launch an Energy Javelin right at the monster's throat. Your blow landing true, the lance impaling the beast before detonating. Tearing its head from its shoulders, the being's body collapsing as it dissolves back into smoke. Which you explode forward through, sensing what can only be Demongo's energy is close. And as you pass through the smoke as it's drawn back towards Aku's rogue lieutenant, you recognize another pair of Stand users between you and Demongo. One is Za Metaru, the man with the invincible armor, and the other is the second Arbiter you killed. However, as you dash in, suddenly everything's consumed by a dark fog, robbing you of your sight. You lose your orientation; can't tell up from down, or wha'ts where. But you do know you have to keep moving forward, you're almost there. So, with a roar keep charging forward. Only to suddenly run into some sort of cloth, red and white striped cloth. Charging through it, you find you're not in Hell anymore. No, you're somewhere much, much worse.“Welcome back to the carnival. This time, your hope's minimal.” a voice you recognize all too well speaks, and out of thin air steps the one being other than Lyin' Eyes Requiem you'd never hoped to see again. “I see your heart, so full of dread. Don't worry, soon you'll be dead.”“You.” you snarl, clenching your fists. Knuckles popping from the force, muscles trembling with barely-restrained rage.“Me.” Carnival Forever Requiem replies, grin widening.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 paused-

>>6357088I was going to ask how Demongo managed to capture Carnival Forever, but I realize now there's a common thread between everybody we've faced down here thus far. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them entered Demongo's being willingly just for one last shot at revenge on us.It's that or all of the unrepentant sinners and evil creatures killed by Karn ended up in the same section of Hell for some reason. I was so wrong. We have here people many people that were killed during war with Covenant. A noticeable part of those deaths are Karn’s kills. Nefarious is smart. Could he thought that this big chaos in hell is a good opportunity to do something? I also remember how Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu have met in hell in Dragon Ball GT. They stared to cooperate. Could smart people that are Karn’s dead enemies do something similar? Dr. Myuu and Nefarious. Also Baby is dead too. Where is he? This looks suspicious and I have a feeling it might not be over even after Demongo is defeated again. This may not be all of this. Karn is inside Carnival Forever. Who explodes in a cloud of confetti, which laughs as you as it falls to the ground behind you.“Ohh hoo hoo? Seems I touched a nerve.” Carnival Forever Requiem's voice calls out from the pile of confetti, which then gets caught in some sort of whirlwind. Bringing the pieces back up, reforming that Stand's body. “But you're too slow, too behind the curve.”“I'll kill you again. You have one chance to let me go.” you say, voice deathly calm. Your rage peaking to the point you feel your body on the verge of tapping into Supreme Instinct. Your rage so overwhelmingly blinding, you're going from furious to calm. “Flee. >>6357238At his declaration, Zamasu draws his own Ki Blade. In response you summon your Stand, Divine Dragon Force, and take your fighting stance. However, as Zamasu charges, your Stand suddenly speaks. Its voice different, deeper, more resonant and booming.“KNEEL.” your Stand says, and Zamasu IMMEDIATELY drops. Collapsing to a knee, head bowed.“Wh-What?” Carnival Forever Requiem's avatar says, so completely flabbergasted it can't even form a sentence, much less a rhyme. “How...?”“Filthy ningen! You DARE?!” Zamasu snarls, trying to rise again. Body trembling, shaking as it attempts to rise against your Stand's order. “You dare give orders to a GOD?”“I SAID. KNEEL.” Divine Dragon Force orders again, and it is as if gravity multiplies hundreds of times on Zamasu. Forcing him back down to the ground, unable to even raise his head enough to even look at you.“Impressive.” you say, Divine Dragon Force turning its head to look at you with one eye. Blazing with power, radiating with flame-like energy. Your Stand doesn't reply, nodding once before turning its focus on the kneeling god. And you immediately gather your ki, drawing your left back and forming your Energy Javelin. Tossing it, the lance of ki piercing through Zamasu's head and neck. Which then glows and detonates, exploding the fused god's head. Everything above its shoulders disappears in the blast. His body collapses limply, then turns into that same dark smoke while you turn your focus on Carnival Forever Requiem.“FREEZE.” DDF says, and before your eyes the clown's avatar is encased in a cartoonishly large block of ice.“Tch.” you exhale, turning your back on the clown. Looking around for the core, trying to remember back to what the center of this monster looked like. It takes you a moment, but then you remember. “Right, the middle.”Leaping up into the air, once more you feel the gravity intensify the higher you go. But you're far stronger than you were last time, easily able to resist as you find the core of this Stand.“There you are.” you reply, zeroing in on the Stand's heart. “Let's go.”cont
>>6357282Then you move, dashing down in a blur. Rocketing straight out of the air towards the central core of the Stand. Hundreds, thousands of the clown's avatars appear in the air between you and its heart, no doubt remembering how you'd defeated it before. Yet none of them can slow you down, your sheer aura blowing them back from you as you dash down.“DIEE!” you roar, swinging your right fist forward.“GWROOOAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force roars, exploding forward and slamming itself into the core of this terrible Stand. Your draconic Stand slamming through its core, turning its energy back on itself. This reality itself disintegrates around you, returning you back to Hell as Carnival Forever Requiem dies screaming. You then turn, staring down Demongo once more.“You.” you say simply, the demonic being taking a step back in fear.“Wh-What? But that'sss impossssible!” he says, eyes wide with fear. He has no minions between you and himself, which only leaves one question:How do you handle him?>Rush in and attack, beat the captured souls out of him>Dash in and use Divine Dragon Force to kill him, turn his own energy back on himself>Ask Divine Dragon Force to use his power and make him release all the souls he's captured>Other(write in)?

NYOOOOO!!” he screams, lights flashing from the skulls gathered around his body. And then with a flash, you feel it. His power plummets, plunging down to maybe a millionth of what his strength was. His body falling and crashing to the ground at your feet, while everyone else looks around in confusion. “M-My warriors!”“You thought you were clever, you thought yourself slick. But for that little endeavor, your soul I'll now nick.” Carnival Forever Requiem says, suddenly appearing behind Demongo. And as the demon turns around in fear, the clown wraps its arms around Demongo, and a curtain of red and white appears around them. A moment later it disappears, taking Demongo with it. Leaving only the avatar of Carnival Forever Requiem, grinning smugly at you. “Don't take this the wrong way, don't think I'm benevolent. But that one, more than you, is to whom I'm feeling more violent.”“As long as you don't let him go, you can have him.” you reply, unable to think of a worse fate than being trapped in that monstrous Stand's reality with no way out. “Make him suffer.”And at your words the Stand's eyes gleam, bright and malevolent as it gives you a large, cheesy grin. Only for a couple of voices to start cutting through.“Alright everyone, back to your areas!” comes a deep, dumb-sounding male voice. “No more insurrection, go home!”“That's right, party's over!” another calls, you turning and seeing a pair of brawlic demons are the ones giving orders. Both wearing white tank tops with “HELL” written across the front, the red one has glasses and two horns, while the blue one has a single horn and dark purple hair, same uniform. “There will be no more insurrections today.”“And you think YOU're gonna stop US?” the first Arbiter snarls, energy blades created similar to his old weapons around his hands. “That bastard may have enslaved us all. But now that we're already gathered, why shouldn't we just break out of here?”cont
>>6357362“Because I said so.” you reply, blurring forward and grabbing him by his right forearm with your left hand. Squeezing down so hard he cries out in pain, losing focus on his weapons, dropping to a knee as he struggles to escape your crushing grip. “Unless you want me to kill you all AGAIN, you better do what they say.”“You'd better listen to my boy, unlike the lot of you, he's still alive.” Tatsu calls out, dropping out of the air and flying down beside you. “Which means he's the only one free to go.”“Very well. You heard them, show's over!” the second Arbiter you'd killed calls out, taking command of his people. “Sangheili, follow me. We're complying. We have a good thing going down here, I will NOT tolerate any of you getting our privileges taken away. Now move!”And almost all the Sangheili comply immediately, the exception being the one you've still got a grip on. Not letting him go yet, making him squirm another moment before releasing him. Immediately he leaps back, massaging his wrist with his other hand as he stares at you. Raw, unfiltered hate in his one good eye, but without another word he turns, joining his people as they retreat.“Not bad, son. I thought we were in serious trouble, when that clown abducted you to its little pocket dimension.” your father says, clapping you on the back with his one good hand. “Well done. But, how did you escape?”And you tell him, tell him about Divine Dragon Force's new power. Which makes you go back further, explaining how it was brought to New Salda by that one Zamasu, and then you have to explain the Zamasu situation as well. He stays mostly quiet throughout your explanations, only asking clarifying questions as you give him the entire story. And, once you do, you see your father's eye glowing with pride as he looks up at you.“Well done, son. I'm proud of you, and all you've accomplished so far.” your father says simply. Which makes your insides flip, hearing words you'd not thought you'd ever hear again. And for a brief moment feel tears welling up in your eyes, but you blink them away. But not fast enough, Tatsu giving you a knowing smile. “Come on, let's go.”“Go?” you ask, now blinking in confusion. “Go where?”“Somewhere we can talk more privately.” he says, as although most have dispersed, hundreds of beings are still glaring furiously at you. Including that Merged Zamasu you'd bested in the clown's reality, now restored as Tatsu then sighs out, his town almost... Sorry? “And somewhere I can tell you what really happened on Planet Cereal. I don't have any clue, really. >Ready to talk with your old man again, find out what he means and what he'd done? Ready for the loredrop. Fantastic.>>6357364>And that's it for this episode, everyone enjoy the ride? Yes. It was great.>Curious what the downsides to Divine Dragon Force's new ability will beI’m guessing that maybe it’s powered by Karn’s Ki. In Berserker God form Karn has a lot of it so he did not notice it yet. However if he tried to use in base form then maybe it would be more noticeable.Or perhaps if he was in Berserker God form but wanted Divine Dragon Force to do something truly massive in scope.Like for example imagine that Karn floats in space above planet New Salda. He wants Divine Dragon Force to change the shape of the planet into a square like Bizarro World. I imagine that would require massive amount of power. So I guess that would tire him and maybe even cause him to fall asleep if he uses too much power on it. Kind of like when Okira uses a lot of hers and Imagine Dragon’s powers. It exhausts her when she does something on a big scale like restoring Metropolis. >what the consequences of using it are?Maybe if you would keep using it in one place over and over again to reshape this location, then the reality itself in that place would become unstable?Which could lead to I’m not sure what. Reality falling apart in that area? Holes in reality like when Karn pierced through the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? Which created tear in reality and allowed Hadar to see Karn and Freeza. > Ready to talk with your old man again, find out what he means and what he'd done?I’m very curious what happened.> Do you think you'll be able to just leave Hell, or will there be another complication waiting in the wings?Another complication is almost certainly happening there. Though will it be spotted in time while Karn is still in Hell and can help? > And, are you ready to start your preparations for Granolah?Yes. He will certainly be a difficult opponent.Wait a second. How will Karn train now? I’m so used to Karn training with Freeza in his Black form while Karn uses Supreme Instinct. He was really great training partner for Karn. How should Karn train Supreme Instinct now?Is there a chance that maybe Whis would invite Karn to Beerus’ World and let him train there?
>>6357395Does Divine Dragon Force have an opinion on Karn? What does he think of us as his wielder?

Or, you know, maybe Karn's son who helps with matters regarding the dead and has history with that particular demon clown and needed backup...Lyin' Eyes Requiem is insanely broken, when Karn fought it both times it took a literal wish to overcome. The downside is interesting, conceptually. We'll see how it plays out in practice.>Bizarro World:^)>How will Karn train now?A very good question. >>6357868All good GD. Been a long year.>:^)Would Bizarro Saiyans be a thing if such a Bizarro World existed? Would they be giant Oozaru that shrunk into a humanoid form, or more apelike people that grew into giant humanoids? If thats ever becoming a thing in-quest I don't blame you if you skip the quirks of Bizarro dialect entirely, gives me an aneurysm>Absolutely not, you're a danger to the entire divine hierarchy. You know, I'm kinda glad that Angels have a blood oath to "not do anything ever" and just stand around as GoD wranglers. We are still a mortal man at the end of the day, and Grande Padre could rock our shit if he had the jurisdiction to do so.I feel like I already know the answer, but has Tatsu ever come close to or achieved a *little* bit of super saiyan in his years of servitude as Hell's warden? Or did he not bother? He doesn't seem like the type to reject that kind of power but I don't see him being motivated to strive for it, especially since he's already completed life's marathon.

But she definitely sides with the PTO more than Earth's authority. An empire where might makes right, and destructive prowess is seemingly rewarded with rank? And where scientists are given nigh-unlimited funding, if their projects are shown to have potential fruits that benefit the empire? She'd be all in.

>>6357897I survived the Siege of New Salda, the clown's antics, and even that fifth-dimensional imp. I can survive a bit of Bizarro World talk.
>>6358413True. Being a parent has led Raditz to further understanding. Not only of his own father, but of you as well. Looking at his child, he now understands just how far he'd go to protect her.

Is world like Pandora from Avatar somewhere in Universe 7? If it exists was it already conquered by PTO or is it undiscovered? Or maybe it is in another universe?>>6357868>Quite possibly. Or, you know, maybe Karn's son who helps with matters regarding the dead and has history with that particular demon clown and needed backup...You are right. That makes sense too. > someone who's gotten a roughly-equally powerful boost recentlyChaya>>6358335>wonder how Raditz is doing with his new responsibilities...I wonder that too. When it comes to being a father. Would having Raditz as your father be most similar to having Vegeta as your parent? Or perhaps it would be more similar to Goku or maybe Bardock or Karn or Turles or Nappa or maybe Chilli? Or is Raditz so different that he is unlike any of them?By the way it appears that average humans aren’t usually that strong and their potential when it comes to power level is very small when compared to average Saiyan. But then I remembered mutants from X men. Some of them are actually very powerful like Apocalypse. I wonder if all humans across all universes have potential to become mutants like X men? Can it happen to Batman? To people that live in Metropolis? Can it happen to people from the Earth that Bulma and Gero were born? Or is this available only for those humans that live in a certain planets in Universe 6? I remember you said that things from Marvel are in Universe 6.Nonetheless powers granted by those mutations seem very varied. >>6360075>Finished updating the notes today, most of the relevant notes in both controlc and pastebin of characters, powerlevels, etc are now up to date. That’s a very good news.
>>6360157Hadn't realized how much I needed just a weekend off. Slept past noon Sunday. Feeling recharged and ready to get back to it!>>6360461It's possible. Could be in the distant past when the universe was more united under the Republic, before Buu. Or just another universe altogether. But that world does have one key feature; its planet communicates with far more than just its guardian and champion.Someone made ready for your family to interfere, but didn't account for your newfound power. We may see how Raditz is doing as a father eventually. Also added his daughter Chadani to the powerlevel sheet. Gif related.Humans are... Different, in that their potential is near-limitless. As a species. But they have a less explosive growth potential than other races. They're almost akin to the Flood or Slivers, in that they can incorporate other species into themselves over time. Hell, in DB Online, Saiyan blood had spread through so much of the human race in the 216+ years since Goku & Vegeta that humans could go Super Saiyan. With less that 1% Saiyan blood, you can go Super. Imagine what other traita humans picked up from other worlds and interbreeding with other species after Buu's rampage destroyed the Republic? It's why a lot of aliens are essentially human+.>mutantsIndeed. Or how just getting un contact with a radioactive shard of a planet King Cold destroyed centuries ago landed on one Earth, and Stand users were born. The Xmen and Marvel-verse are U6, but other human-inhabited places develop their own powers and abilities, based on outside stimuli.
>>6360531So, going off that logic, a Human Saiyan hybrid would have explosive growth comparable to a full blooded Saiyan, while also retaining a similarly high potential to baseline human??I guess that explains Gohan blowing past Goku (for a time) before his balls dropped.
>>6360577Yes and no. They have GREATER potential and greater growth potential than full-blooded Saiyans. However, due to their genes, will also lose that strength even faster than a Saiyan if not constantly upkept. Why Buu saga Gohan was barely above Goten's power as a 7-year-old. Despite having been far above Vegeta's Super Vegeta form as a base Super Saiyan, in seven years he fell behind Vegeta's base Super Saiyan in strength without the gravity chamber he trained in getting any stronger than it did pre-androids. Human/Saiyan hybrids have explosive growth, but also explosive regression.
>>6360925I guess that brings up how much a Saiyan Human hybrid would actually need to train to maintain their gains then. Can they get by with some casual daily sparring and a light workout every other day or does it need to be religious and moderately intense?
>>6360941Considering how Gohan rubberbands from being weak as shit to getting a WHOLE NEW form after slacking off, I imagine its like being able to beat up the gains goblin and get bonus muscle back from him, but light workouts are just enough to maintain some gains.
>>6360941A very good question, one that could be investigated with Marron.>>6360945In Gohan's case, with the potential unleashed he got from Elder Kai, he is unique from that point on. Potential Unleashed changes his body to what it WOULD BE if he optimized his training from birth. Ignoring the weakness of having missed any/all training. Why, as long as he can access that form, he doesn't necessarily HAVE to train anymore. Any more than is required to keep that form, anyways. When he takes that form, his body is returned to what it WOULD BE at maintaining peak training for all his life. And why, when he got the rage boost of combining Potential Unleashed and his Super Saiyan rage, he got Beast. It is ALSO why his Super Saiyan forms are weaker than his unleashed potential. As he's far weaker than the 50x/100x boost of Super Saiyan/Ascended. If he trained his base would be far above Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, hell he'd probably be on par with DBS Broly in base power.
>>6360949Gohan, the only one to fail upward.
>>6361301Yes. Everyone talks about this mc or that mc having plot armor, but Gohan has literal lore armor. The very world itself is designed to make him relevant despite his best attempts to shuffle off the main stage and let his dad do the fighting he loves. It's almost impressive., and makes any sort of plot armor Goku gets outside of OG Dragon Ball look like nothing. When you're 4 and literally almost 1-tap the THEN-STRONGEST in the verse, you got it.
>>6361313So which one of our kids has the strongest plot armor? My money is on Junior.
>>6361324Chilli, with Chaya close behind him. He can reverse fates including deaths (Exhibit A: Pinrut), survive DEATH ITSELF embedding into his body and comes back STRONGER even when you properly do the deed. On top of that, he can theoretically kill any being that obeys death with his death magic, and the only safe counter to that is speedblitzing him. I mentioned Chaya earlier because her build relies on people believing in her to win the day, and with quadrillions of people wishing for her victory its all but guaranteed. So far only Jiren (The Strongest) managed to beat that power-of-friendship tier strength, and even then it fucked him up enough to get jumped and eliminated early. Not to discount the hard work both of them went through to get to where they are now, but its pretty bonkers in a good way.
>>6361324Junior, in time, may. Right now he's too young still, he's not had the journey the others have had. But being born as mary sue-ish as he is, he could very well be.>>6361343But is that necessarily plot ARMOR though? Most of Chilli's abilities he's either earned through hard work, study, and training, or gotten lucky with like surviving Death. Which is up there in plot armor, admittedly. Few other characters even in SCQ could survive that. And most are other Reapers, as everyone believes in Death.Chaya's kind of the opposite of plot armor though, as she's got the scars to prove the plot isn't protecting her from her own choices. At this point in her story, she's got the power and backing to have armor, but it isn't plot armor. Her armor is the literal decades of trust and worship she's accumulated from being Champion, of her good times and bad that people believe in her.>power of friendshipYes, but more weapon's grade than usual. I think unironically my most plot armored character would be Meloka. But even she's had her fair share of losses, especially against the bigger threats Karn ultimately defeats. We can't call what Karn has plot armor, because that would mean the plot's protecting him. And the plot literally cannot predict what he'll do, being a Fateless.
>>6361362yeah, yeah thats fair. It's just that I hesitate to call out plot armor in SCQ because i'm biased a lot of things happen where the characters get fucked up while fucking shit up and are shown to work hard to survive. Ain't no Whis do-overs or magic dragon buttons to re-attach lost limbs, let alone multi-rez. Stakes feel real and believable enough where even if I know that the protagonist has to succeed to keep the story going, there's an underlying doubt in the back of my mind that it might be the last encounter. The most blatant asspull I can recall off my memory was Meloka going FSSJ or SSJ when fighting Boros for the first time with Karn, really. You could make arguments that every other moment of a new form being unlocked in the jaws of danger is an asspull in this quest, but most of the time there is believable setup and logic that leads to those bursts of strength. We already know that Saiyans can become way stronger when put through intense emotional stress and the Greyman incident establishes Karn as a team leader with a deep care for his teammates and his people. Which only gets driven home when The Big Gete Star arrives to kill all the Saiyans later on, cranking that stress to 110% causing a maximum beyond furious reaction, establishing that day as one of the worst days of Karn's life.In short, I care too much about these characters to think about what the author is doing and just think about what the characters are doing. Reading it all at once the illusion hardly wavered once I got familiar with the setting. I haven't had a moment where I stepped back and thought "what the fuck is this bullshit" in a long while.
>>6361362I like how this post implies "The Plot" is as much an entity as "The End". I wonder if we'll ever get to meet 'em.
>>6361371But we do have magic dragon buttons now, it's just that Karn didn't get access to them as a child, and therefore didn't have his entire perception of death and consequences warped by them.
>>6361544When's the last time we had to use the magic dragon button though?
>>6361371>spoilerSAME. Which did lead to the infamous double crit fail incident near the start of the quest. The one that changed the entire course of SCQ. Before that "If they die, they die", but when it actually happened, "He's not, they're not going out. Not here, not like this". Which was very in-character for Karn and why he first transformed.>I care too much about these characters to think about what the author is doing and just think about what the characters are doingTHIS! This is what I'm(usually) aiming for! That the characters feel so real everyone invests into them.>"what the fuck is this bullshit"Ha, been awhile since we had real immersion-breaking events mid-run, at least for me. Been awhile since a character slapped the 4th wall.>>6361425You have. Ever since episode 1...>>6361544True. Which does bring up an important question for future generations, those who grew up in a world where Karn could solve any problem, where he could face any threat: what happens when he's gone?>>6361613Chaya, for Raditz and his family at the end of Body Snatchers' arc. But if you mean KARN's magic wish dragon, also the end of that arc stopping LER's return.
Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 Epilogue-AGE 759, PLANET RENSACOR“HAAAAAAA!” your daughter shouts, golden aura blazing as she then charges straight at you. Planting your feet you brace yourself, your daughter flying in with a right. One that you can easily stop, raising your left hand, palm-out. Only for her to not go after your hand, but to punch early. Using the Su Ma you'd been teaching her, spinning her small body around your outstretched hand counterclockwise into a left back roundhouse aimed at your head. “HYAAAH!!”“Good!” you encourage, pulling your arm back. Blocking her kick with your forearm, your daughter pushing off it just as you'd shown her. But as she spins back around, coming face-to-face with you, she suddenly freezes mid-air. Causing you to stop as well, watching her. “Everything okay?”“I, uhh... Forgot how to follow that up.” she says with a sheepish grin and blush, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. To which you chuckle, relaxing a bit.“Go back to the kick, then do it again.” you reply, watching her reverse her clockwise spin, her calf going back to your forearm. “There. Now, what should you do from here?”“If I kicked with my left... Should I kick with my left again? Or switch to a left punch instead?” she asks, looking over her shoulder at you.“That's a good question. But the correct answer is neither.” you reply, your daughter looking confused. You are the Crystal Sage Chilli, father of Meloka Wolbach and Kazuburo, husband to Megumin, son of Karn and Meloka, and the champion of your planet Rensacor. It's the evening of Christmas day, and after your children enjoyed opening their presents, and you all enjoyed the day visiting with your wife's family down in the village below, the sun has started going down. And here you are, out in the snow as you're training your daughter. Continuing her training, pushing her to be better. “Here, watch.”Stepping back, you use the Multiform technique to split yourself into two. Keeping one on the ground, in the same pose you were in as you blocked your daughter's strike. And the other takes her pose, from the same back kick.“From here, you have a couple different options.” your you in the air says, first swinging your tail at your defending self's head. “First, you always have your tail. With your opponent's arm on that side up to defend the kick, they won't be able to bring their other arm up in time to stop your tail. Giving you a moment to follow up. But that's not all.”
>>6361712“Second, you could CONTINUE your momentum, instead of reversing.” you continue, rolling your airborne body counterclockwise. Rotating so your left shin instead of calf is pressed to your blocking arm, twisting and firing a right turning kick at your defending self's head. Stopping just short of making contact. “Keeping that arm occupied with your left leg, unable to bring it up to stop your right.”“Oooooooh! I see!” she says, flying around both your bodies, studying your two selves closely. “That's a good one.”“It is. But it is far more telegraphed than this next one.” you reply, returning to the blocked position. And with a flash fire your right leg, heel-first, right under your defending self's upraised arm. Right at your defending body's exposed ribs. Once more stopping the attack just short of making contact, showing your daughter the attack. “There are many ways to attack your opponent. Remember, it isn't about memorizing combinations, or what you SHOULD do if your opponent does something. But about finding the holes in their defenses, attacking their weak points.”“Attacking their weak points? Hmmmm.” your daughter says, crossing her arms as she thinks to herself. Looking away, clearly lost in thought as she contemplates your words while you merge your bodies back into one.”Okay! I got it! Let's go aga-!”But before you both can return to her training, suddenly a mind reaches out to your own. One of your longtime allies, the undead Overlord sorcerer Ainz.“Chilli, we have a problem.” he thinks to you as you hold a hand up to your daughter, tapping your head with your other hand. The signal to show her you're talking telepathically with someone. “I require your assistance, as we have an other-worlder who has landed in my territory.”“On my way.” you reply, ending the mental link then turning your attention to your daughter.“Somebody in trouble?” she asks, her expression a strange mix of disappointment and what looks like pride.“Maybe. We've got some aliens landing over in Ainz' territory.” you tell her, your daughter nodding once seriously. “I'll be right back, okay?”“Okay!” she replies with a beaming smile, waving as you lift up into the air. “Go gettem!”You give her a thumbs up then blast off, aura blazing up around you as you dash across the continent. Expanding your ki sense as you fly, and with your connection to Rensacor sure enough, you sense an unknown presence there with Ainz' people. No, not a presence. You can feel it as you focus, but there's something... Else. Another presence, one barely there but one you sense regardless. You don't know who they are, or why they're here, but you're going to handle this... Whatever this is.
>>6361713-Meanwhile, outside the Great Tomb of Nazarick-“You mean to tell me you've never heard the tale of Tapion the Brave?” the tiny, red-skinned alien asks, and something about that name sounds familiar. But you can't quite place it. “He was only the hero who single-handedly saved Planet Konos of the South Galaxy a thousand years ago.”“This Tapion the Brave sounds like quite the incredible warrior.” Cocytus, one of your Floor Guardians who was originally designed by your friend Warrior Takemikazuchi years ago. And who, upon being thrust into this new world, retained his maker's honor and respect for other warriors. “Could I perhaps meet this warrior?”“Of course.” the man says, grinning. His fangs protruding noticeably in his smile. And immediately you get the feeling not all's right with this being. There's more to this “Hoi” than meets the eye, as he begins rummaging through his pack and drawing out what looks like a small, ornate white wooden box with gold filigree on the faces. One which you can immediately sense magical energy from, but even your silently cast “Identify” spell can't even so much as tell you the school of magic on it. Much less if it's trapped or cursed. “I thought you'd never ask. I just so happened to have brought him along. Unfortunately, he's been confined to this mysterious music box.”“If he was such a hero, then why has he been confined?” Demiurge asks, the same question you'd had immediately coming to mind. Spoken by him before you could say it yourself.“A conundrum that beckons to be solved.” the imp-like man says, then his eyes widen in shock as he sees something from behind you all. And, sure enough as you turn, you see the Saiyan Chilli dropping out of the air, landing near you all and the otherworlder's ship. “Wha-?”“Ah, Lord Chilli. Good of you to make it.” you say, gesturing Hoi towards the Saiyan. “Chilli, this is our otherworldly guest, Hoi. And he has a rather interesting tale he's been telling us.”“Hoi?” the Saiyan asks, looking the imp up and down. You notice his eyes twitch ever-so subtly as he sees the creature's ears, perhaps comparing him to his half-brother, the half-demon? “So, what's in the box?”“What? No, not what. But WHO.” Hoi tells him, grinning once more. “A great and powerful warrior, one said to be even stronger than the Super Saiyan of legends.”“Stronger than a Super Saiyan?” Chilli asks, you seeing the thoughts war in his head behind his eyes. He clearly also doesn't trust this creature, but you can feel he's just as curious as to who this “Tapion” is as you are. “Okay, and what else? You clearly know more than you're telling us so far. So, spill it.”
>>6361715“Planet Konos was spared. But the same crisis now threatens your planet as well!” he suddenly shouts, pointing at Chilli. Clearly expecting everyone to gasp in surprise, and seems mildly taken aback when no one reacts to his declaration. “Ahem. The evil will ravage this world, then the universe. Consuming all, and there's nothing we can do to stop it. Only Tapion can save you all now. Which is why I have come! Why I spent the last thirty years searching for this music box!”“Then why are you still talking?” Albedo asks, brows furrowing as she then speaks with authority at the little man. “Open it.”“Don't you think I've tried?” Hoi shouts back, clearly flustered at being unable to release the trapped hero. And, suddenly, things make more sense. Of course he, someone with as little magical power as himself, is unable to break such a powerful enchantment as an imprisonment spell. Especially if Tapion is as strong as the stories claim he is. Hoi then recomposes himself, holding the music box out towards Chilli. “That honor is yours, if you can. Try turning the handle. If it opens, then Tapion will live.”“I'll see what I can do.” the younger man says, striding forward confidently. But as he does, you notice the sparkle of magic in his eye, the telltale sign he's using some magically-enhanced visual magic to scan the box. No doubt looking for traps or deceit. But you've already done the same, and can see nothing except the faint shimmer of the magic keeping it sealed. Chilli takes the box in both hands, left on the crank and right holding it steady as he tries to open it. And the handle doesn't so much as budge. “Hmph. It's pretty tough. HRRRRRRR!”Yet as he strains, veins bulging as he puts more and more power into opening it, it's clear that box won't open via normal means. Whatever enchantment's been placed on it, it's a tough one.“Phew!” he sighs, relaxing as he holds the box up. “Looks like you've given me a real challenge. But I'll get this box open, and we'll meet this Tapion. But as Chilli makes this declaration, you can't escape the feeling that you're forgetting something. That you should know who this Hoi is, or heard his name a long, long time ago. Long before you'd been transported into this body and to this world. If only you could figure out where, then you'd know what's going on. And get ahead of whatever plot this man's scheming before it comes to fruition.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 254 Epilogue End-
Also, December Patron Comm is partly-out! Still finishing the story, only three posts' worth in on it right now. But the art's beautiful and had to share, couldn't hold it back anymore.
>>6361716Aw hell, I figured Hoi was gonna stop by Earth, but I guess that was wishful thinking. Either way, I'm sure Chilli can deal with the consequences of his actions...right? RIGHT?!
>>6361728If Chilli can't handle Hoi's scheme, can't handle what happens if he gets that music box open, then he's definitively not ready for what's coming this arc. And why would he go to Earth? It's a near-unknown, not like in the canon timeline where the universe knows that's where "the guy who killed Freeza" lives.
Ah, old Hoi at his schemes again. Probably a decade or so late to cause true unstoppable carnage and is now probably just a side quest.
>>6361731Perhaps. Or, perhaps, his scheme is only a small part of someone else's game?
>>6361787Speaking of other people's plans, can Chronoa just tell us about whatever bullshit she set up to kill us before we joined forces already?
24 hours until the new episode begins! I hope you're ready!>>6361927>ChronoaMost of her anti-you setups left were already taken care of. Mechikabura mainly undid those. But a few, well... Fu is curious how you'll handle certain encounters.
>>6361934>FuTangentially related, but is it possible to tap into Supreme Instinct without transforming? We're gonna put the boots to that BOY one day I swear.
>>6361935Potentially. It is linked to the Berserker Soul, as the core of that rage is icy. As for spoilers, well... We'll see.
