I've been on 2 first dates this year.
The first was a 32yo Asian woman who was small and skinny and had an office job. She didn't want a long term relationship because at the time I didn't have a job but agreed to have casual sex which we did once. Our first date was at a restaurant then walked to a pub for a drink and then our 2nd date was karaoke. And then after that she'd let me pick her up in my car and take her back to mine (but never to hers oddly).

2nd one kinda happened because the Chinese woman was encouraging me to go on more dates for whatever reason. She didn't have any full body pictures but she had a cute face and alt look and I was really bored so we met at a park. She was really fat though like I couldn't imagine her using a kayak. I flirted with her a bit before the date too so I think she was expecting a raunchy time but I was too turned off.

So both of those dates occurred within one month of each other and I haven't had much luck since then or before then. Out of 10 I'd say my effort has been about a 6 or 7 because I mostly just relied on dating apps and my pics aren't anything special. I did talk to 3 women at my gym but none of them were interested and the reason I don't put my effort higher is because I haven't been going to pubs or nightclubs which is where I think it'd be easier to meet women than dating apps but I lack the confidence because I haven't been putting in enough effort to lose weight.
