Mr Beast culture is one of the biggest problems of the Internet

How do we deal with that?
I think content should never be monetized. Money + Internet was a huge mistake. Youtube wasnt supposed to be a lottery where people watching creates money and then the money is given back to one of the viewers
>>
>>82498938
Its weird that he's the face of slop now. I remember chatting with him in his livestreams circa 2015 or 2016. Hes literally just some guy who fell into the most lucrative operation by dicking around.
>>
>>82498938
there will always be slop for normies on the internet, accept the fact that normies have conquered the internet, and there will always be increasing demand to entertain them, plus 3rd worlders are reproducing at a rapid rate so in a few decades you know what kind of content will be the most popular and in most demand

>Fell into
Lol.

Before social media, you needed to be extremely talented to get rich
Now a low IQ person like Mr Best can become a billionaire through slop and sheer luck
>>
People should unironically stop using Youtube

I'm serious. If a website makes money, DONT USE IT.
>>
>>82499079
people get rich through being born into wealth or being extremely consistent and hard working, alrbert einstein was no billionare o algo, high iq just results in sperginess and neuroticisim and many other social problems that create problems for you to become rich, you need charisma, leadership skills and good social skills in general to attract people to become rich in classic corporate way of getting rich, but now with the internet spergs can become rich
>>
>>82499111
The joke is that Mr Beast isn't even charismatic, smart, or funny.
People watch him simply because he has money I guess. I wouldnt know, I've never watched a single video of his.
>>
MR BEST
>best
>isnt actually the best
>>
>>82499117
he somehow had to get his ties to jewtube elites, business partners and early collabs with big youtubers which helped him grow, remember how mrbeast played into the pewdiepie vs t series meme?
I guess its hard work and being smart enough to see oppurtinities result in success, though he is an autist when it comes to thumbnail and all the other 'tube statistic things so that probably helped, anyone can become an obsessed autist to a particular subject if he is seriously interested in it and able to put in the hard work of trial and error
>>
>>82499161
MR BREAST
>breast
>is a guy
what is this bullshit?
>>
>>82499111
>people get rich through being born into wealth or being extremely consistent and hard working,
Being "extremely consistent and hard working" has absolutely fuck all to do with wealth. There are people working harder than you ever will in conditions you never would for less than you ever did.
>>
>>82499240
intelligence combined with hard work, like that one russian potato seller in america who earned money through some oppurtinities creating big banana.
Though the chances of becoming rich through hard work and intelligence are still tiny, no one actually thinks that anyone become rich
Plus my first point about how the old world with no internet consisted of mostly spoiled brats born into wealth
>>
>>82499255
But now you're adding stipulations. Originally you only said consistent and hard working, now you're adding intelligent. Intelligent is doing 95% of the heavy lifting in making that person rich in that case, my point is that consistency and hard work are not valued in society.

Richness is created by abusing holes in the system. Working around laws or finding loopholes.
It's only logical, wealth is conceptually supposed to be equal to the work you do. So everyone who works the same deserves the same money. If you get more money than you work for, you are exploiting others, if you get less money than you work for, you are being exploited.
If you get rich by being clever, you did so by cleverly exploiting the systems.
If you get rich by doing honest work, you did so by working in a niche the system isn't designed around yet (like how videogames can make millions of dollars, turning some coder nerds rich. Despite how they totally made all that money themselves, I like to think that in an ideal world, the game would not be allowed to be so expensive if there's so many copies sold. There's literally no reason for it to be.)
If you get rich without being clever or doing honest work, then you probably got rich by being extremely lucky.
If you are neither lucky, nor clever, nor working in an economical niche, then you are definetly evil. Look at amazon, google, apple. These companies turn a shit ton of profit not because they are innovative or the best on the market, but because they have zero qualms about squashing competitors and treating their employees and consumers like dogshit.

Note: If you do not agree or can evolve these ideas, then you haven't yet reached a certain milestone in mental maturity. You're literally a sheep if you have never been able to see wealth as a result of exploitation like this. It's literally only logical.
>>
>>82499271
meds, the autist sperg who sits all day doing nothing will never get rich, with the case of mrbeast he had been consistently uploading vids, spamming them constantly facing trial and error to perfect his 'tube statitistic game and editing and such and such
>>

>Richness is created by abusing holes in the system. Working around laws or finding loopholes.
I thought this was less of a case when it comes to first world countries, yeah the rich in my country are oligarchs and corrupt politicians.
>It's only logical, wealth is conceptually supposed to be equal to the work you do.
Not really, its about solving the most problems in the most efficient way for the most amount of people to give you money, to have a product that solves problem of the people and the people are willing to pay for them. But this is just capitalism if it was perfectly fair and on paper, but I get it in real life companies abuse, exploit and break laws, the old world richness comes from being feudal lords/simply being born into a status of exploiting others.
But to argue the concept of capitalism, no one cares if you work hard, people would rather give their money to some business selling fucking labubus than donate money to the janitor sweeping the floors really hard. What do you spend your money on? Its most likely giving your money to whatever businesses that solve your problems and not playing some kind of justice giving money to street sweepers
>>
>>82499324
I spend my money on surviving and supporting causes that I find just. I buy from whatever company is the least soulless and the smallest and local and the least evil. I give my money to friends in need and to strangers that ask me on the street.
I'm privileged to have the money to be able to live like this, but I am happier this way. Consumerist slop and "netflix", big brands etc. trigger a disgust in me when I just see them at the store.
>>
I like how Mr Beast used to make actual content, now it's just
>here's a stupid contest
>>
This is a true Beast right here, Mr.Beast is a hack and a major faggot.

i would love very much to stop seeing this demon's face please
>>
>>82498959
I remember watching him when he would just make those dumb vids about repeating certain words for hours on end. It's confusing how big he managed to get.
>>
>>82498938
Kiwi farms and Sam Hyde culture is significantly worse...

Several years ago I was in a public discord server and there was a schizophrenic guy breaking down. He was rambling to himself and he sounded absolutely terrified. Some of us tried to help but most of us just observed, fascinated with the spectacle. And then these 3 black teens hopped into the chat and started antagonizing and belittling him, and the guy literally could barely even fight back, and one of them did that thing where they talk so fast you can't get a word in edgewise unless you talk over them... Nobody laughed, nobody thought they were anything other than annoying pathetic retards just trying to feel big and strong on the internet. It was pure predatory behavior trying to portray itself as humor. That moment stuck with me, and actually caused me to feel a level of racism for a while...

Several years ago, that kind of shit was rare, it was the exception, now it's the norm. This shit is why the entire internet sucks now.
>>
>>82498938
man i used to watch this guy react to shitty minecraft intros
sad how far he's fallen
>>
>>82498938
How about just ignore him?
