Its 4 am and I'm still awake. What would be the best method to fix my sleeping schedule? The way I see it, I've got two options.>option AI set my alarm nice and early at around a time like 6am regardless. I commit to waking up every day at that time no matter how little sleep I get. Given enough of this, I should start to get tired at proper times.>option BI stay awake as long as I want, wait until the fatigue REALLY sets in then go to bed and sleep thoroughly. I'll wake up some time in the afternoon. Do this and progressively stay up later and later each time until I'm waking up early in the morning.Which method do you think would work better /r9k/?
>>82520080probably BI would go to like a park and walk around until it was time to sleep
>>82520080Option A.Maybe you could try using melatonin, it might help.
>>82520080As a perpetual sleep schedule ruiner (and NEET), option B is always what it amounts to, and it BLOWS!! I mean your mileage may vary but my body and mind just feel extra shit when having to be awake during the morning hours after staying up all night, and I especially hate having to fall asleep then (I don't have blackout curtains or anything). I would say try option A but it's much harder to pull off and in my experience if you're already staying up til 4 AM, your internal clock will just continue to keep you awake until that time, even if you've already been up awhile. The quickest and easiest way I've found to reset a sleep schedule is to just use sleep meds to go to bed early at a normal time, but that may come with some physical side effects the next day.
Either way, I've had problems. What seems to have worked for me was going to sleep and waking up at a set time each day, regardless on my NEETdom.
