But then they make too wide extrapolations or use poor sources for other claims. So it's a lot of truth mixed with a lot of bullshit. I appreciate it overall, because the truths it talks about are often times the uncomfortable ones that people on the outside would deny exist. But they make an effort to have a culture of debate, where they bring in people to challenge them, so often times you can see where they fall short. I also like this mentality of removing your rose-tinted glasses when it comes to the way you view women. Plus it doesn't demonize your preferences: whatever you want in a partner is okay. It makes it more adapted to the modern dating landscape.TBP is too inaccurate when it comes to its portrayal of reality. They do source their claims with studies (famously there's the scientific blackpill communities), but when you look at those studies, a lot of them have tiny sample sizes, or aren't even published and are just preprints. They also commonly make the mistake that the redpillers oftentimes make, which is that they extrapolate too widely from what their sources claim. Plus it's a nihilistic ideology that promotes giving up and inaction, which just isn't good. Additionally, they don't harbor much in terms of a debate culture. There were some people who were wiling to debate with redpillers, but those debates never went well for them. Generally the community is very insular and promotes subscribing to the ideological orthodoxy and excommunicating those who step out of line. Which just further harms their credibility.The manosphere is a silly term. It encompasses so many widely different groups, many of which have nothing in common with each other, are about completely unrelated things, or openly hate each other. I really don't have any opinions about the manosphere in general.
