Working under a genz woman was really bad. She was chill to begin with, but turned into an absolute monster once she got promoted high enough. She would trash on me in front of new hires for no reason, constantly bitch about and shit talk the entire male population without any fuck given for how that makes her male coworkers feel.And also hearing the women in my family blatantly talk shit about and disrespect the family men. They complain about how men have it so much easier than them these days, and brag about how they're purely self-made women... even though those men sacrificed, protected, and provided for them their entire lives. It's mindblowing to realize your own mother will automatically take a complete stranger's side over you, just because that stranger is a woman. I was actually a big feminist for my entire life until I got to college, at which point the cognitive dissonance of the "patriarchy" narrative (the foundational belief of feminism) I bought into clashing with the things I saw around me finally caused me to explore whether that model was accurate at describing the society. I realized it wasn't, and that people who subscribe to it effectively work to cause harm to men because of their false assumptions, and that's why I not only stopped being a feminist, I became hostile to feminism. To be clear, I support the idea of gender equality under the liberal egalitarian frameworks, but that's not what feminism is.
