I knew about vrchat for years but only today decided to try it out. I feel like I missed out. It's not very active but I feel like I could have made at least one friend if I had been consistently playing for 4-5 years.
>>82919128ive tried it, its ok conceptually and theres some unique worlds to visit solo but when you add the actual people that play this game into its just a bunch of pot stirring drama addicts and creeps id recommend avoiding it personally
>>82919128i'd avoid itmost people on there are not normal functioning people
>>82919140My only method of contacting other humans who aren't my 70 year old neighbors is 4chan and YouTube comments. And the YouTube comments aren't even real people anymore. So it's just 4chan. And sometimes that's not even real. I wasted a bunch of time I think.
I tried VRChat like three years ago and it always gave me massive social anxiety. You can't see the person's face, you hear them over a shitty microphone, it's all shit. One time I realized that I had been standing there awkwardly looking for an opportunity to speak for four hours. I uninstalled that shit then
It was a lot funnier when it first released, i.e. when a bit before/during/after Uganda knuckles. Not saying uganda knuckles was all that funny but around that time the game was funner
>>82919128that game is fuckedweird ass shit on therepedophile rate is off the charttoo many children playing it for what it isI recommend avoiding it, it was a good socializing platform in 2018 but that is long gone
>>82919613There are still some good worlds on there but the normgroids flooded in to make it into I don't even know what. Most of it is indeed shit but you can still find the original energy in some pockets
>>82919629most of these places with original energy aren't public
