I have mental issues, my social skills are horrible, no success with women, and I don't make enough money for them to have any semblance of a comfy life. Yet this makes people upset. It wouldn't be FAIR to the kids. Now don't get me wrong sometimes it makes me feel bad, but at the same time, I also realize that I would be dooming them to a life that is even worse than mine. The idea that everyone must breed has caused many people to be born into subpar conditions. What a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in.

I'm fine with being alone most of the time because I'm still young enough to do things I want but what happens when I'm too old and tired to do anything? That's when being alone would actually suck. Society literally does not continue if people do not have children. The ethos of non-breeding cannot be universally applied because its result is the extinction of the society that adopts it. If you are going to live in society you must do your part to uphold society. Paying taxes is a much lower obligation than reproducing. Paying taxes is meaningless if there is no future generation of people to continue society.
