Food pyramid is nonsense. All of the bread, grains, and oils should be cut as should the dairy.

Anyone who thinks the oil is fine if you have the right sort is cooking unhealthily and unaware that you should be getting your fat from the meat you eat. If you're rich enough, the meat should be organic otherwise that fat also contains a bunch of other shit the animals shouldn't have in their bodies. In fact everything should be for similar reasons. Alcohol should be at zero.

Of those listed, dairy is the least damaging but its still in the negative so I added it on the end.

Its high in fat, carries some protein and vitamins though. Fact is that protein and vitamins are better from higher quality sources without all that bad fat. No one talks about the inflamatory effects of dairy either.

The joy is a fair point but if you want to be healthy you have to find your joy elsewhere. Learn to enjoy the meat and veggies.

Yes. Just got done lifting and will be running 28 miles tonight. Last week I did a 25 mile run, then an 18 mile run, then another 25 mile run, and also lifted through the week. None of it has helped my depression.
