There is some corruption but you can get by without taking part of it fine enough. Stay out of football hooligan culture and you will be relatively safe even when you're gay/brown/whatever. I think culturally it's similar to UK in 00's only with more alcohol and less muslims.

Does being a white American give you an advantage when it comes to dating Polish women? I haven't traveled to Poland but I've been to Japan and Southeast Asia and it was much easier to get laid in those places then America, of course Asia is a lot different.
