My watch later playlist on YouTube is at 3,950 videos so I guess I'll start watching them now before it reaches the max. What kind of videos are in your watch later playlist anon?
>>
>>82937276
I haven't really made a watch later list, but I have plenty of tabs open. Most of them are edutainment videos or lectures though. Here's one I need to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ofJAbFktII

I'm like 6mins into the video now. Never been on "fossil tube" before but I couldn't even tell where the rib was in all that debris until like 3mins in lol.
> edutainment videos or lectures
I need to finish watching the ones in my playlist...

I think I'll actually go watch them right after this video instead of ignoring them for months (again). Here's a video from my playlist:

Oh, a vtuber fan?
>>
>>82937380
Is that metal injection video about injecting metal into a mold or injecting plastic into a custom-made mold?
>>82937401
It's surprising where you can find fossils too. Here in Florida people will find mastodon teeth amongst other teeth in the rivers here. Although I can't imagine wanting to swim in even the smaller creeks here given that there are alligators. I never really got into chess, but I did used to know a guy who was. Do you play a good deal of chess, anon? Also all of the premoves, wew. The horsy was too powerful.
>>
>>82937422
>wanting to swim even in the smaller creeks
Sounds like a cool way to gamble your limbs. From what you say, Florida sounds like it was that Mastodon capital of the world.
>Do you play a good deal of chess, anon?
Nope. I'm hot garbage at the game but I learned how to play by watching Chess Simp's videos. I don't do well in most games where you go up against another human but I can follow along with them just fine.
>>
>>82937406
Yeah. I don't get enough consistent time to watch twitch streams but I will check out VODs and clips. Mainly a shylily and Bao fan.

The fact Bao needs meds to curb her libido is strangely attractive to me
>>
>>82937461
People around here do seem to like doing crazy things, at least some of them. Also, I see. At least you have lots of fun playing, right? Said friend of mine, I remember him doing a lot of little training things for chess too. He lost his passion for it at some point though. I hope he's doing alright.
>>
>>82937422
It's about injection molding metal parts afaict

>>
>>82937517
Neat, I'm gonna have to watch some of that. Thanks, anon.
>>
>>82937482
>Yeah. I don't get enough consistent time to watch twitch streams but I will check out VODs and clips.
Same. I also just like being able to go back whenever I want in the vods. It's so nice.
>Mainly a shylily and Bao fan.
I've actually never watched them or their clips before but I do see them everywhere and youtube tries to get me to watch them. Are they just normal variety streamers? I mainly watch Menace Mamaki and Lily Hopkins these days or random 1 or 2 view vtubers that I like.
>>82937505
>People around here do seem to like doing crazy things, at least some of them.
Many people in Florida don the mantle of "Florida Man"
>At least you have lots of fun playing, right?
I only played for a short while and it was pretty fun, but only when I didn't take the game seriously at all.
>Said friend of mine, I remember him doing a lot of little training things for chess too. He lost his passion for it at some point though.
I hope he didn't take his losses too personally because that is what I think kills the passion in competitive games like chess. I hope he's doing okay too or found another thing that he has fun with.

Do you play any games in your spare time or do you dedicate all of it to your other hobbies?

It's a wonderful title. One day I may too don it. Also my friend got fairly good at it and even played at some chess competitions where he lived. He seemed to just enjoy it, even if he was also losing. I think his ELO was somewhere around 1800. I forget though.

I do also play some games. EU4 is the game I've probably dumped the most hours into in the last couple of years. Otherwise some roguelikes. Most of my time is spent just learning or listening to music and thinking on things.
>>
>>82937615
>>82937647
Also, I forgot to ask if you play anything other than chess these days!
>>
>>82937615
They are mainly variety streamers, yeah. Hearing Lily talk about stuff is interesting, and I like her sense of humor. and Bao... I think I'm just down bad for how horny and degen bao is desu. Also a lot of her music is nice.

Damn, that's way better than I was expecting. Maybe he might be a bit depressed then? If something else is going wrong in his life then that could be doing it to him.
>EU4
Never heard of it before but it looks pretty complicated. 4X games have so much going on in them.
>Most of my time is spent just learning or listening to music and thinking on things.
Sounds very fun and calming. I hope those days continue.
>>82937653
I play a lot of Noita and sometimes Path of Achra and 100% Orange Juice.
>>82937659
I'll try watching some Lily clips later and see if I like her.
>I think I'm just down bad for how horny and degen bao is desu
Understandable lol
>>82937677
>atleast 30% are deleted or private, zero idea what they were but they were completely priceless to me
Every. Single. Time. It's even worse when you actually do remember what it was and now you know that you'll probably never see it forever.
>>
>>82937774
I suspected he might've had Schizoid personality disorder and was just losing interest in a lot of things. D'unno though. I imagine he's probably fine, although I haven't spoken with him in ages. EU4 also seems more complicated than it is, a lot of the bits of it are pretty intuitive if you're knowledgeable about history and stuff.
>Sounds very fun and calming. I hope those days continue.
wew, my thoughts aren't that calm. I get pretty excited about my theories whenever I find a thread to pull on. 'Eureka' moments and what not. It's healthy too! Also Noita is fun but I could never manage to play too much at a time. I should get back to playing it to get the rest of its achievements though. Path of Achra is a game I'm only familiar thanks to a Sseth video and 100% Orange Juice is an oldy. I imagine you've been playing that one for ages, right?

I had a feeling at least one anon would say this. Do you like old firearms too or are you just interested in the political aspects of the war?
>>82937830
>Schizoid personality disorder
That makes a lot of sense then.
>a lot of the bits of it are pretty intuitive if you're knowledgeable about history and stuff.
This also makes sense. I used to be a little bit interested in history during high school but my passion for almost everything died for a few years up until now so I don't remember much anymore. I might go back and look up some interesting battles in history one day if I feel like it. Seems like it would make for some cool inspiration.
>Noita is fun but I could never manage to play too much at a time.
This is probably for the best. The game is pretty brutal. Building your wand out of the dogshit available and succeeding with it is very addicting though.
>Path of Achra is a game I'm only familiar thanks to a Sseth video
Yeah I got the game after watching the Sseth video too and it's reallyyyyyy fun. I don't have that many hours in it but when I do play it, I pretty much always enjoy it. They make everything simple enough that you can understand it but also put so many potential combinations in the game that even simulating what your build will be like in the current run is fun.
>I imagine you've been playing that one for ages, right?
Nah, I've only been playing since 2020. It's one of my favorite games ever but the amount of players online whenever I get on is dwindling and it's making me sad.

It's peculiar, I tend to find that I get along best with those with Schizoid personality disorder or those who really seem like they'd be able to be diagnosed with it. Also what has most of your passion been on these days?

Also yeah, Noita kept beating my ass B'^). I did also feel like trying PoA. For EU4 also, you may enjoy it for some historical bits. It does have some historical events that it pops up but it plays more like a board game than a proper simulator of nations. Still fun.

Also yeah, a lot of old games are like that. Many still have people returning to them for decades after the fact though. Likewise a fan may make a successor game. You mentioned that you couldn't really find many doll pictures before, did you ever look up porcelain or victorian dolls?

>I tend to find that I get along best with those with Schizoid personality disorder or those who really seem like they'd be able to be diagnosed with it.
I don't know any schizoids but judging from the google search I did they seem like they would be pretty chill. I can relate to some of the symptoms I saw but I'm not going to self diagnose since I could say that for anything if I look hard enough.
>what has most of your passion been on these days?
To be honest, these days I'm kind of just lazing around but when I'm not, I try to make some outlines for some of those story ideas I talked about in the last thread (I think). It's not very much, but I figure it's better than continuing to do nothing.
>For EU4 also, you may enjoy it for some historical bits. It does have some historical events that it pops up but it plays more like a board game than a proper simulator of nations. Still fun.
I'll watch a YouTube video about it and see how I feel. If I don't play it, it might become a game I
watch every once in a while.
>Many still have people returning to them for decades after the fact though. Likewise a fan may make a successor game.
The nostalgia bug has a lot of us in a chokehold.
>You mentioned that you couldn't really find many doll pictures before, did you ever look up porcelain or victorian dolls?
I have not. I actually like the clothes that are usually on those kinds of dolls but their faces are so creepy I hate it lol. I prefer that the faces be more "anime-like" or just anything less "realistic" looking. It's like when they put a human face on a robot instead of just a screen with a cute emoticon face.

It's 3AM so I must sleep before it's too late again. It was nice talking to you and the other anons. I'll try to get to get some meaningful progress done on something (literally anything) before I make another thread so I have something more interesting to talk about. Good night.

(also Path of Achra is on sale right now if you wanna get it)
>>
>>82938352
Yeah, there are certainly a lot of things vague symptoms can just end up being used to diagnose oneself. Although you chatting so much with me would be a bad sign for you, fren >B^). I hope you'll get into properly writing your story ideas then. I hear that making a habit out of just writing short stories is good for getting into it. That and also plot out your story with lots of little summarized points. Like you're writing a greentext but then you go back and flesh out each bit with some nice prose.

Also I highly recommend pirating it first if you do play it. Paradox's pricing model has the game with all its DLC going over 100$. Yes, I own all of the DLC. I have over 3.5 hours in it :'). Also nostalgia isn't a bug! It's something to be cherished :).

Also, I see. Victorian dresses and gothic lolita are certain great aesthetics. I'm hard to creep out though and the art I love the most is horror art anyhow. Thus, in a sense, creepy things excite me instead of scaring or making me uncomfortable usually. I swear I'm a good person and not a lunatic :). Sleep well, OP and I'll have to consider buying PoA now that it's on sale too... Sweet dreams, of PoA punishing you and the character from Noita trying to cheer you up.
