It's a evil gameI don't find that idea, it's your own delusion. Sadism is a mental illness, not the normal behavior of organisms. Nature finds balance through the competition of self-sustaining and self-pseudorepeating patterns. Suffering is only inevitable because it is useful. An organism with no incentive to do the things required for its continued existence ceases to exist and won't reproduce, so patterns without a means to suffer will inevitably be replaced by patterns that do have that capability. This is the only way for persisent complex patterns to arise within matter. A universe that's blind, deaf, and numb contains no suffering but it also contains nothing capable of understanding or appreciating it. We conscious beings are blessed above all other forms of matter with the capacity to hold a simulacrum of the universe within ourselves. It is unethical to fail to spread that blessing.
