I'm radiating whimsy and all I get from my fellow zoomers dull, dead eyed responses

Young people being surly is nothing new. I'm closer to Gen X than Gen Z (1987) and teens and college kids of my time were very much cold and sullen and unresponsive. Probably just a normal adolescent thing.

The thing about the dull dead-eyed thing is that it feels or seems practiced. It's like the grinding gears of judgment are working "behind the eyes" so to speak.
>Probably just a normal adolescent thing.
It's just so hard for the whimsical to accept this is normal. It feels "off" to us, but the onus of explanation is on the one performing behavior always. Practiced dead-eye is OP as fuck in the adult world where responsibility is lava and practiced ignorance and fake outrage get you to the very tippy top of bullshit mountain.
