>>82959818I've been a member of SGI for 6 months and I never found a better community. I was in a Nichiren sect once and it was a completely different experience. I didn't understand the Lotus Sutra because the priest twisted Nichiren's message to fit his religious supremacist ideoogy while mocking all the other religions. Soka Gakkai is far more open-minded than traditional buddhist temples and it has a vibrant community of young people who firmly believe in buddhism.
