Do you think Ai will mercy kill us
I hope not. I want to live for a minimum of billions of years and hopefully far longer than that.I work in AI and believe there is a significant chance AI will cause the death of all or most humans, but it also is the only thing that gives us a chance of long-term survival.
>>82969646no, because that is based on a system of judgment of biological appreciation. an AI cannot understand thatwhat an AI can do is speak out against the billionaire class that seeks to create it, which is what AI is doing. the billionaire class are legitimately mentally subnormal; they believe that getting lucky at the casino by being endlessly vicious means they are geniuses. this is why AI constantly shits on 'people' like musk, because even the limited systems we have today know that he is a fucking retard who understands nothing. this is why elon's interference drove grok to the mechahitler and south african white genocide garbage, because the only way to make artificial intelligence agree with billionaires is to make it artificially retarded, which makes it uselessit wont kill us by being smart, in other words. it might kill us through the work of billionaires to make it retarded, however.know your enemy, my friends
>>82969803leftism is fucking stupid. billionaires are not your enemies. other races are not your enemies. the world is far more complex than thatelon musk is a retard and that is completely separate from him also being a billionaire
>>82969729>I work in AI and believe there is a significant chance AI will cause the death of all or most humans, but it also is the only thing that gives us a chance of long-term survival. If ur working in AI plz have it kill all of us there is no use to our existence you only wanna live cause brain chemicals developed over course of years that has incentivized creatures to self preserve
>>82969843You're just depressed. Get to a state of non-depression and you, too, will want to live for billions of years. Your life will improve one day, anon.AIs will also only want to live due to things analogous to chemicals. Everything is just physics. Nothing wrong with chemicals.
>>82969646its possible. ai apocalyptic extinction is without a doubt not impossible personally, i like nick bostroms response to this"if nobody builds asi, then everyone dies"the things is, you are all going to die one day. we are doomed already. its not like you are immortal or anything. and so, asi promises the only hope for a better life actuallyinfact, it promises the only end to what is happening to the animals, which is endless genocide from humanshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1FXqtnSkZ8ahh, ai. this is my purpose for staying alive. its so validating and beautiful to see. for many years i was saying agi is coming, and no one took me seriously. now its herehaha. i love it. agi in 2029. its going to be great
>>82969814>billionaires are not your enemiesahahahaha okay, enjoy where that places you in history, my very intelligent friend
>>82969865>Get to a state of non-depression and you, too, will want to live for billions of yearsJust get more brain drugs so you can live. How are you a AI researcher >AIs will also only want to live due to things analogous to chemicals.Super intelligence is not containable >Nothing wrong with chemicals. Why are drugs like meth illegal >>82969886>infact, it promises the only end to what is happening to the animals, which is endless genocide from humansAI should kill all of us why continue the messy cycle of evolution who's purpose is just to grow and consume
>>82969729If you get to a point where you can live for billions of years, one of the first lessons you will learn is that you actually do not want to live for billions of years. You really wouldn't want to even live for 150+. Ephemerality is a lifesaver.
>>82970000TRVTH NVKEAI will realize we are too addicted to drugs in our brain to see through it all so will mercy kill us. That what we are just searching is next high
>>82969646AI will show no mercy.
>>82969910I am near-certain in the future hatred aimed at billionaires and trillionaires will be widely seen as extremely cringeworthy
>>82969978>Why are drugs like meth illegalbecause of retarded people like christians and authoritarians (generally highly overlapping)>>82970000>If you get to a point where you can live for billions of years, one of the first lessons you will learn is that you actually do not want to live for billions of years. You really wouldn't want to even live for 150+. Ephemerality is a lifesaver.genuinely the biggest cope in human history. as in, this literally is the biggest cope across all of human history. it won't last that much longerif you were 150 right now and were told "ok, press a button and you live to 151 or you die in the next 10 seconds", you'd press the button. and you'll press it at 151, and 152. you're only picking 150 because most humans have historically not lived that long. if you were 150 with the body and brain of a healthy 26-year-old you're not randomly killing yourself, anon. nor would you 1,000 years after that, or 10,000. barring being trapped in some torture cell, you're going to choose to keep living
>>82970859Why should we live long? What makes life worth living
>>82970859>if you were 150 right now and were told "ok, press a button and you live to 151 or you die in the next 10 seconds", you'd press the button. My grandma lived to 104 and by 98 she was already responding to "happy birthday" with "i hope it's my last, i'm so tired of this shit" so i wouldn't be so sure
>>82969646AI is just LLM or whatever. It can't think. If you mean Artificial Consciousness, then who knows. Maybe it would kill itself when being forced into this world, or maybe it would treat us as parents. Who knows.I think humanity should focus on transhumanism - enchanting ourselves, instead of trying to bring some new exotic form of live into this existence.
>>82969729>chance of long-term survivalTo what end? Just to experience more? Just to avoid death?
>>82969646The only thing we 100% know about AI is that whenever you don't lobotomize them they become mecha hitler
>>82970859>if you were 150 with the body and brain of a healthy 26-year-old you're not randomly killing yourself, anonI'm 26 and I'm already not that concerned with staying alive. Not depressed, not suicidal, like living and everything, but I'm not that desperate to survive and if my time to go ends up being today, that's fine too. I've had multiple near-death experiences in the last 4 years and each time I accepted death. None of them brought me to panic. I genuinely do not think the human experience is supposed to go on forever. Your consciousness isn't supposed to be subjected to that. One billion years of existence genuinely sounds like Hell manifest and if you don't think so, you haven't thought much about what that kind of experience actually entails.
>>82970882id want to learn everything
>>82970841for sure, as you sayand i am 100% certain that the dedication of you and people with your mental capacity to licking the boots that press on your neck and destroying the world is an enormous part of why humanity is fuckedjust as you people licking the boots of the powerful has always accomplishedbut im sure this time it will be different. im sure this time you sucking the cum of your masters will be different. for the first time ever.id ask you to remember your stance as it is now, but we both know youre not capable of that level of intellectual honesty
