I'm in a similar situation. My idea is that there has to be places where other people nearby are looking for roommates, like on Craigslist or something, worth taking a look and see if you can find someone you can kinda sorta trust.That or just lie on the apartment application, photoshop a paystub to look higher than it actually is.
