I'm a highly agoraphobic recluse because I'm so terrified of having anyone know anything about me that I would rather go insane from extended solitude than share literally any vulnerability with anyone ever.
We are essentially the same. I have felt similarly since I was probably twelve. Was such a carefree child too. Once I was self-aware I immediately knew I had to hide away from everyone. No one could be trusted. No one could know who I was. I needed to be invisible. I had to disappear.
How would people know about you from being outside? Do you wear a nametag?
>>83359325>than share literally any vulnerability with anyone everYou just did.
>>83359363This is all anonymous although.
>>83359340nta but they would recognize me by my gait and way of clothing and make fun of me in group chats.
>>83359340PimEyes. You can know someone's name, phone number, email and home address just by snapping a photo. It makes perfect sense to not want to go outside in this day and age.
>>83359478No it doesn't Stop being a schizo
>>83359325I do the same, but only for like online friendships. I don't see why you would want to share anything about yourself when its tied to a profile. Here its anonymous, even if it does end up in an archive so I don't care. But like, in person I guess I also have the inhibition to strangers and people I work with. Outside of that my friends know shit about my life, because like I have known them for over 10 years.
>>83359373Yet you still shared a vulnerability, so that cannot be the issue per se. It's the association with your real identity.
>>83359325I'm not worried about the sub-130 IQ cattle walking around minding their own business. It's the corporations that are tracking you: Online, with tracking cookies and fingerprinting. Offline, with networked cameras and bluetooth beacons powered by computer vision and hate.
>>83359325Your fears are warranted. I used to be like this long ago, then I started opening up more and realized that people don't actually give a fuck and will just use anything share as ammunition to hurt you at some point, even if they are good people. Now I'm back to how I was originally. Much better to keep to yourself honestly. Anyone who says otherwise lacks experience.
>>83360176>will just use anything share as ammunition to hurt you at some point, even if they are good people. What if this backfires spectacularly and it ends up being an extremely successful partnership? Many such cases.
>>83360280you haven't experienced enough yet
>>83360288Oh shit, I'm not a decrepit old fuck! :O
>>83359950Yes, it does. Your identity used to be something you offered. You were anonymous by default. If you didn't voluntarily tell a stranger your name, they'd never know it. If you gave them a fake name they'd have no choice not to use it. You used to be able to get away with murder by packing some shit in a bag and moving to a different state within a certain window of time. That's literally what my grandfather did in the 1920s.Now? One bad tweet and you gotta kill yourself. Shit follows you around like a gypsy fucking curse. You say the wrong thing, even if you mean well, and you're losing your job and not getting another one for a few years. Total strangers you've never met before in a state you've never even been to can know about shit you did when you were 12 if there's a video of it that blew up enough. That's not even unrealistic edge case really, look at Bad Luck Brian. That poor faggot still has people stopping him on the street as a full grown adult man because of a particularly awkward yearbook photo. Seeing yourself on the front page of Reddit with 50k upvotes and a caption like "Remember Embarrassing Thing Kid? This is him now!" isn't even some kind of abstractly theoretically possible Black Mirror wannabe shit. It's just a normal thing that can feasibly happen. It's no wonder people are more afraid to embarrass themselves nowadays. Honestly I'm surprised there aren't more agoraphobes.
>>83360429Chris Chan would've been a better example. The fact that a small but irrationally dedicated community of total strangers can harass a retard they don't even know from distances spanning thousands of miles over the course of years, decades, psychologically torturing him and treating him as a kind of 'hobby' they can extract lulz from when they're bored...does that not bother you at all? This internet shit was such a huge mistake. You're living in a panopticon and it's only going to get worse.
>>83360429>One bad tweet and you gotta kill yourself.Protip: Delete your social media.>But the normies will use that against you!More than what they use against you from social media? You have a phone. Tell them to stop sucking billionaire dick and just text you.
>>83360448>Protip: Delete your social media.Yeah that usually fixes it. Lol.
>>83360448>he thinks he can simply opt out of the torment nexusthe cia openly admitted to targeting random us citizens and attempting to drive them into insanity over the course of 20 years through illegal surveillance tactics btw
>>83359325none of what u said is real u just want 2 avoid responsibility and change by indulging in an environment that u have total control over
>>83360582>watches wojak gamer currynigger therapist once
>>83360591i actually have him open in my other tab btw
>>83360579And this person was you? Eat shit, schizo frog faggot.
>>83360885>bro carrying about pervasive surveillance is lame and gay lolwhat could go wrong with this line of thinking
>>83360885>"ransom us citizens" [clearly plural]>"And this person [singular] was you?"Between your functional illiteracy, willful refusal to engage with opposing views, disproportionate reactiveness and failure to provide logical arguments outside of name calling, you might legit be slightly mentally retarded or autistic.
>>83360839yeah the fact that you think because you watched a couple of his videos you can immediately mindread random fags over the internet from a single post the length of a tweet tipped me off
>>83361071wow u are really invested in OP's pubmd self-diagnosis
>>83361097anon you're showing signs of narcissistic personality disorder :^) i know because i too watched a currynigger video once
>>83360998>>83361041Being impotent and paranoid about the CIA doesn't change the surveillance situation. Changing the laws does.
>>83361273>Changing the laws does.and do you think this starts with nobody caring about the surveillance state or
>>83361346Faggot, you care. I care. Just apparently not enough to propose legal system changes.
>>83361497what makes you think i haven't been doing anything outside of talking about it on 4chan as opposed to in addition to that
>>83361534>what makes you think i haven't been doing anything*ILack of basic literacy.
>>83361544it's 4chan, not a research paper. stop being a pedantic faggot and donate to the EFF
>>83361573FACT: only pedantic faggots write good lawsShow your receipts first bitchhhhhh
>>83361635no i'm pretty sure pedantic heterosexuals occasionally also write good laws as well
