You dont understand me at all, anon.

I don't want to take part in capitalism. I don't want to "win big" and get a big house, lots of money etc.
I don't want to be popular on social media or get the latest phone.
You guys worship LGBT and feminism but both sound surreal and out of touch to me. Like, everything UN Women says just sounds schizophrenic to me.
Equality is a laughable notion, anon. The man is the head of the family. There are two genders.

What I want is to live on some paradise island just chilling, focusing on basic survival, fishing, telling stories around a campfire.
People say I got no ambition, but I think it's ambitious to want to destroy capitalism itself.

Listen here Wakka Flokka Flame.

You have a fantasy of abandoning a society that has more or less abandoned you, leading you to abandon yourself in the process.

I don't agree with or care for your political opinions, you could have said what you needed to say without outing yourself as a bigot, misogynist, misanthropic chud whilst doing so. If you want to fuck off to an island do it, but you RELY on this society to exist, so you have the choice of gaining the skills, tools and ballsack to live out your fantasy, or you can sit here on 4chan looking like a complete fucking loser searching for connection and (you)'s so that you feel like you belong.

Which is it anon, do you belong to society and the right wing, or do you belong to yourself and your ideal lifestyle?
>>
we rely on modern society because modern society has destroyed the alternatives. no older lifestyle is possible anymore without either support or extraordinary means. we can suffer in indignity as things get ever worse or we can kill ourselves and our society for the sake of coming generations.
>>
>>83689091
listen man, global thermonuclear war will reduce society to dust and only the uncontacted tribes will survive, who neither cared for society to begin with nor needed it.

Meanwhile, you are likely to be atomised along with most of humanity, and if you're not, you're probably going to wish society didn't collapse.

> no older lifestyle is possible anymore

what is an amish person?
Actually better question, what the FUCK do you define as an older lifestyle and why would it be any better than statistically the safest most prosperous times humanity has ever faced (despite the rampant fuckery that's going on in general, everywhere)?

Misanthropy generally starts as hatred for self. Start there.

I'm OP

>reeee you're a misogynist bigot!
My point exactly. This is what's so tiring about modern discourse. That's such a worn-out 2025 astroturfed gaslighted thing to say. People just 20 years ago thinked differently.
Let me make it clear: supporting natural, biological gender roles it not oppression or misogyny. Are you telling me humans have lived 5 million years in misogyny? And we magically got it right just 5 years ago? Come on man. We only "freed" the women from marriage so we'd get 50% more taxpaying citizens. It's not rocket science to see that there's no humanitarian agenda behind any of it.

>but you RELY on this society to exist, so you have the choice of gaining the skills, tools and ballsack to live out your fantasy, or you can sit here on 4chan looking like a complete fucking loser searching for connection and (you)'s so that you feel like you belong.
Like the other guy said, I'm literally a victim of an oppressive capitalist system that created me as its product and I'm no longer functioning as intended. The system was designed so that I'd be as dependent on the system as possible, to prevent escape.
Furthermore, you seem to view success in the system as objective success or the highest form of success: "man up and finish your degree. man up and get a job, stop crying about the game being unfair."
The game is unfair. I live in a country where all jobs have been removed: replaced by robots or given to pajeets. If you see things clearly, you will rebel instead of trying to win in a broken system.

i wasn't expecting a serious response to that. while i do not believe that thermonuclear war would be such a slate-wiping event as it is made out to be, collapse of modern society would of course kill most people off, including me and everyone i know. the very few survivors would lead harsh lives. that's fine. "older lifestyle" was maybe overly general and i suppose i simply meant any life not reliant on technological society. the amish are not really so isolated as we imagine them and the option to live an amish-like life is practically closed to most of humanity. while i hate myself in some sense i don't think of myself as a misanthrope since i harbor other people no ill will and mean them no harm, either generally or individually. in any case i'm hardly revolutionary material so what i think doesn't matter.

>My point exactly. This is what's so tiring about modern discourse

yes, it is tiring. I hate having to label you as what you imply you are with your virtue signalling just so I can get you to respond in a way that either confirms my disdain for your rhetoric and allows me to disengage in any manner i choose, or makes you engage with the content of my post in a serious manner. It should not be a prerequisite of modern discourse to signal your identity to the tribe as an opener. I also apologise for being harsh, but you used the words, i just categorised it. If that hurts you, its your problem, not mine.

>People just 20 years ago thinked

Correct grammar here is "thought" not thinked. I don't even think "thinked is a word", nevertheless i'll excuse it because
>I live in a country where all jobs have been removed
English might not be your mother tongue and that's okay. On this assertion though, I'd like to ask you, are you even any older than 25? How the fuck were you absorbing what people thought 20 years ago, you just got out of diapers. Your rhetoric screams boomer parents who talked about the "good old days" because they were unhappy with their lot in life.

>Let me make it clear
If you're referring to your UN women stance and feminism.. I don't know what to say to you, I don't think you understand the history behind women's rights including suffrage and what they had to do to fight for the freedom that they have now to live without the explicit control of a man. There are countries in the world that still live like this and i'll bet you don't want to live in these countries. Afghanistan is a great example. Yes, a consequence of this acquisition of freedom is that there are more women working. No, unfortunately, we can't roll it back, you are not getting paid enough relative to anyone else in order to support your wife, your kids and your dreams of holidaying 2 times a year while owning your own home >cont next post pls be patient

>English might not be your mother tongue and that's okay
You guessed correctly. I'm always amazed by how Americans expect foreigners to speak perfect English. If anything, you should be completely stunned by the fact I can speak your language at this level. You probably dont know a single word in another language.
Americans take my language skills as a given and it's incredibly frustrating and insulting.

>in a way that either confirms my disdain for your rhetoric and allows me to disengage in any manner i choose, or makes you engage with the content of my post in a serious manner. It should not be a prerequisite of modern discourse to signal your identity to the tribe as an opener
I literally don't know what any of that means. You're talking to a non-native speaker. Could you not sound like The Architect from Matrix Reloaded?

>I'd like to ask you, are you even any older than 25?
I'm 38. No job, no money, no woman... nothing. I literally get fuck all from this society and the killer part is that I have tried so hard to find my place but it's just impossible. I believed the "it's just you", "try harder" bullshit for years until I realized that the game was designed so that some people slip through the cracks and that's just how it is. In today's economy, nobody will hire a 38-year-old to do anything. And no I'm not interested in job-seeking advice. I did that for almost 10 years, having the same discussions over and over again. I'm at a point where you literally can't convince me that this isn't a flaw in the system. The system failed me, I didn't fail the system. I've never been this lucid about any other realization in my life. People who can no longer win in the system should escape the system.

>I don't think you understand the history behind women's rights including suffrage and what they had to do to fight for the freedom that they have
The reality of the situation is pic rel. We live in a gynocentric world where a woman is worth more than a man.
>>

Technology was a mistake. I dont think there's anything wrong with thinking that.
We didnt evolve to look at screens and swap genders.

>Like the other guy said, I'm literally
Victim mindset is your problem, not society's at large. Infact any mindset is your problem. Deal with your problem, it's not my responsibility to fix it.

When thrown into an ocean you can choose to sink or swim.

>The system was designed so that I'd be as dependent
Firstly, the system was not designed with you in mind. It was designed in a turbulent environment shaped by oscillating nationalistic loyalties and globally significant events over the course of thousands of years, but the foundations of society and indeed western thought precede even Socratic texts. You are living in a system that generally prioritises collective outcome over individual struggle, and it's incredibly nuanced because we live in a time where individualism is exploited by technocapitalism for profit which is antithetical and inverted. I'm not saying it's perfect, I'm just telling you what it is.

>you seem to view success in

wrong. Krishnamurti, influenced by Mark Vonnegut said the following: It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a sick society.

I don't want to succeed in society for any other purpose than to insulate myself from it's worst qualities.

>"man up and finish your degree. man up and get a job, stop crying about the game being unfair."

Fuck that. I quit my entire career of about a decade of call centre work middle of last year. I never finished school, let alone university. Don't get a degree, but functionally, you need income to thrive in this society so that you're not in fight or flight living paycheck to paycheck. That most often comes from a job, in the beginning, but it is your responsibility to build something outside of that job that pays you so you can stop the job as soon as possible and live with your own sense of freedom, whatever that may be.

>The game is unfair.
So? The game owes you nothing. The world owes you nothing.
>you will rebel
Australia's comfy bro. No the fuck i wont.
>>
>>83689456

To put it short, I live in a collapsing economy where I can no longer find a way to legally support myself. My society has abandoned the moral values I was raised to believe in.
I hate technology but everything is an app. They will implement central bank digital currencies, Ai surveillance and other dystopian features very soon.
My country is full of black and brown immigrants and I dont know why. There are so many new negative phenomena that I dont understand. The 2020s are just overwhelming the fuck out of me and I want to press the pause button.
>>
>>83689416
>I'm always amazed by how Americans

I'm Australian. Therefore I have no real reason to learn another language that serves me in any way other than to stroke my own ego. It's not a skill that benefits me in day to day life. Yes, I respect that you can speak multiple languages, it's hard and it's a good skill to have. I don't need this skill at the moment.

>I literally don't know what any of that means

I choose to engage in conflict on this board in a manner that declares the values i stand for openly and immediately so that ad hominem and other fallacies don't get used as often while I'm entering a discussion with someone. Because I can filter out replies as low value to reply to based on how someone responds to my assertion.

>I'm 38. No job, no money, no woman... nothing
You're two years older than me and in the exact same situation as I am, so we're not too far apart here and can relate. However, I choose not to claim victimhood as an excuse and accept my own failures as a reason to why I don't have what society would view as success.

>And no I'm not interested in job-seeking advice

good, don't get a job, buy a car and deliver food for uber. Work when you want, where you want, how hard you want and then build something that pays you. There's a million and one business models out there, choose something, be willing to suck at it and take consistent action.

>The system failed me, I didn't fail

I said this earlier, you were never a factored calculation in societal structure as an individual or what outcome you as an individual can achieve.

>should escape the system

correct. However your version of escape involves a skillset that you are obviously unwilling to achieve, there is an incongruence with what you want and what actions you are taking to get there. Stop living in fantasy and delusion.

>gynocentric world

You were brought into the world by a woman. Without women there would be no men. Not hard to see why women are worth more.

DESU, i don't think we're going to go much deeper or further than we already have so I'm just going to leave you with this and a bit of background.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjEVQxdA6co

Max Normal was Die Antwoord's Ninja's rap persona before something clicked and he created an identity that shook the entire western world during their peak. But I'm leaving this song/monologue with you in the hope that you'll try and understand a few things.

Firstly everything you've shown here in this thread illustrates that you have accepted your identity as an outcast, a failure and a societal anomaly. It's unfortunate, but predictable, especially if you frequent this website in particular. This artist, Max Normal, used repetition, mantra, self reflection and self direction to transform his identity from one character to another. He became Ninja, someone who is almost antithetical to what Max Normal represented, and then he exploded across the entire music scene in a way that hasn't been done since and probably won't be done again.

More to the point, you would call him a success, but he's also at the forefront of counter culture and societal opposition, at least he was in his time. You should seek to change your identity through this method

>develop a picture of what you don't want to be (it's obvious you don't want to be who you are)
>develop an even clearer picture of who you want to be (write both down - this forces embodiment and experiential integration)
>ruthlessly eliminate all distraction and superficial bullshit that prevents you from achieving that goal
>achieve the goal
>ride off into the sunset

You are avoiding hard work and sitting with your own thoughts and reflection, and I know this, because I do the same thing.
