Did posts on 4chan piss anyone else off when they first started using 4chan? When I first got on 4chan, reading through threads and replies to me would legit make me feel rage. Now its pretty easy breezy but holy fuck
>>83717752sometimes you have to accept people's wrong opinions and scroll for your own good
>>83717752thinks for using my image
>>83717752when I first got to 4chan I was a liberal, went to /pol/ first and they radicalized me and made me hate black people and jews, now I am a leftists and no longer hate anyone, when I was a chud and first went to /int/ I was triggered by how progressive they were
>>83717752>Did posts on 4chan piss anyone else off when they first started using 4chan?no it was people spamming nigger and posting mudkips
>>83717752No I had used the internet for years beforehand.
>>83717776is that you or who is she?
>>83717752The people who still get angry end up on reddit. That's why it's reddit.
>>83718326yeah bro that's totally me
>>83718394what's it like being a darkie
>>83717752I was like that too then I remembered I had a better life than all of them now I just love seeing them crying and barking
>>83717752I found out about 4chan in early 2007, when I was a middle school weeb. Someone from an anime forum linked /a/. Then I checked out /b/ and it had a ton of gore and CP. Didn't come back again for a while because I was afraid I was going to get v& or something. The thing is, you really shouldn't be on this website. Sometimes it's funny. Most of the time it's just giving you brain damage. Most people here are huge losers and not worth talking to. I wish I had never found this pile of shit, I'd be a lot better off in life.
i love black girl ass
>>83717752the only thing that pisses me off is single moms, women outside, women on social media, unfriendly women, incompetent women, socially incompetent women, inaccessible women, non-african qweenz, etc.
No just makes me laugh that people take online that serious. Nothing you or anyone says online could make me feel anything negative.
>>83717752i used to find threads funny but now there's not many funny threads
Rage? Naw. In 2008 it was all about being edgy for the lulz, because Interweb was not real life. All that cancer came later, in the 2010s, with smartphones, SJWs, Gamergate and Trump and whatnot.
>>83720515>In 2008 it was all about being edgy for the lulz>All that cancer came later, >2008>cancer came laterAnon...
the only thing that pisses me off is when someone can't concede a logical argument, but it's the same in real life
>>83717752Well initially I thought I was engaging with humans so yes I used to be baffled by people's replies
For me it's the opposite, I used to enjoy it, it was novel and weird. I used to feel like I was interacting with swaths of unknown and unknowable people. Now I'm genuinely angry at how stupid, uninspired and shitty people here are, and how people can only talk in memes. I feel like I know almost every poster, and all of them are "that one unfunny retard weedbrain kid we should've never let in".
>>83720523hurr durryes, i'm well aware that the concept of "cancer" was widely used to describe newfags of the time. that's why when talking about what came later, i specifically wrote "THAT cancer", instead of just "cancer".
>>83717752No but I used to get pretty mad when threads were derailed.
>>83720537this seems to be how it is in real life now as well. the most intellectual depth i have found recently was in a group for intentional discussion (ok) that wanted to discuss how to remedy the problem of declining birthrates, one purpled haired obese woman immediately launched into a rant about feminism. specifically the evils of it.the woman in a yellow floral pinafore with stepford wife hair had to soothe her nascent femcel rage to quiet her so she would not dominate the entire discussion, which otherwise just came off as a typical subreddit circlejerk of poor performative attempts at intellectual dominance and one smirking clear channer on his phone who delighted in declining from the discussion to instead attempt to exert psychological dominance by barking at every woman to speak up.this was, by far, the best outcome of the past decade. most other people literally just turn their heads away shaking and saying wow, crazy if you even hint that you understand the definition of an adverb.there was a promising young man several months ago. he immediately devolved into discussing futa within about fifteen minutes of speaking, constantly praising the edginess of hazbin hotel, and referring to a nonexistent chat as if he were streaming before every move. he kept referring to random tiktok trends and being genuinely offended i was unacquainted as well. absolutely surreal - this man had been an intellectual equal ten years ago. maybe they were right about 5g after all. christ.
of course. i've gotten used to it all. now, /g/ was very exciting for a few years, but seeing what it's turned into actually fills me with rage. iykyk.
>>83720583I never rated the quality of IRL discussions as too high cuz it's simply not acceptable to say various things, and most people don't want to pay the social cost of saying it. 4chan used to be a place where you could get genuinely edgy perspectives (and a diverse variety of them) and now the best you can really get is "based" if your argument is right-leaning, and "ywnbaw" if it's seen as not.
>>83720603yes, almost like an intentional lobotomization or trepanation of the site. this board is a perfect example. i wonder why that could be.endless you will never be a woman was nothing but rote memorization sixteen years ago already when i was repeating it for maximum velocity at a (honestly, pretty harmless but somewhat annoying) trans woman in transformice. can you imagine this board getting together to play a french mouse-themed collaborative physics puzzle game now? it used to be beloved, back in the era of harmony, harmony.what is the specific focus on tranny jannies ywnbaw trooning out etc or whatever else is said now anyway? when did conspiracies about a secret cabal of reddit trans janitors replace the general conspiracy of pedophilia and love for bailey jay and dickgirls extraordinaire?
Is this the black girls soles thread?
>>83717752All my reactions to 4chan posts have been numbed over the years. I don't miss the anger or disgust but I do miss the laughter and amusement.
Only when I got trolled hard.
>>83720515>2008Okay chanologyfag
>>8371775295% of the posts are either forced racial bait, forced demoralization or forced anger, i miss the old days.
First? No.Now? Yes because it's all shitty spam and cancer. New actual funny memes are extremely rare. Everything is forced /pol/ or /lgbt/ shit, or porn.
>>83717752I've been laughing at the unhinged shit posted here from day 1. I've never felt rage out of a post because I hardly reply to others in a string of posts; I like to lurk and bump threads and barely engage with people here.If anything, 4chan has made me more self-aware here and there. For example, I never thought about falling in love or getting a girlfriend in school until I read dozens of anons crying over here about "missing out on teenage love".
>>83721169more of a bawksyfag, desu senpaitachi~
>>83721326Nah, even that wasn't bad because it generated a shit ton of butthurt with the infighting. Chanology was just flat out cancer.
>>83721360from my perspective, it was just certain aspects of imageboard culture leaking to normalfags/IRL and just being cringe. in that regard, i think shit like knowyourmeme did far more damage.
