why is this website dying so much? I swear 3 years ago it was significantly better. Every board and general I browse is significantly slower nowadays

I've seen it mentioned that the downtime from last year sent many searching for a refuge and ended up staying in their new home to shitpost in, even when 4chan opened up again.

There's discord servers, Twitter, Instagram, reddit, etc. No reason for zoomers to use the site when they have so many other options. So now it's mostly just the same people here that have already been coming here for ages and most people stop coming here eventually for one reason or another. Sucks
