"Free time" is the most dystopian phrase I've ever heard. The opposite of "free" being "trapped, enslaved, indentured" so anything that isn't free time is enslaved time. Then there's the implication on the phrase that "free time" is the exception to the rule, so that most of the individuals time on planet earth is spent enslaved.
