>people in jail have a thing called a "commissary"
>meaning they just sit around and eat tasty junk food at an adult daycare as a reward for murder or something
Holy fuck jail sounds like paradise compared to society at large. Nobody told me they could eat whatever they want I thought they only had prison food. Apparently some prisoners dont even eat the jail food and life off commissary stuff. Why even live on the outside at this point?
>>

Why do you think some people literally try to get sent to prison? You basically get a free house and food for life with no expectations
>>
>>84068726
I mean do you have people in your life that will donate their hard earned money to your commissary doe
>>
>>84068726
commissary isnt free, people have to send the inmate money so they can buy that stuff, and it has a big markup
>>
>>84068732
Most people don't try to do that.
>>84068726
You have to pay for it. That's why that pic says "prison rich." Unless you have someone putting money on your prison account you probably won't get to eat those snacks.
>>
You might have a black roommate or next door cell neighbor. And they only play cards. It would be different if they'd play d&d sometimes, but no. Just go fish or some shit 24/7.
>>
There are spending limits, and you can only go like 1-2x a month. Unless you are strong or in a gang you will likely be extorted and have your commissary stolen.
>>
>>84068726
they have to work inmate jobs if they want those kinds of privileges still

Prison jobs arent paying enough for a decent amount of commissary. Its mostly people just sending money to the inmates account with western union or jpay. Ive done it before and gave some people i know money

Prison is funny. When people first get there their account to accept money takes like a week or 2 to activate. So what some prisoners do is buy excess commissary and sell it to new people at an even larger markup
>>
Anon that went to prison here.
Its alright really yeah. Jail commissary is expensive as fuck though, but prison was okay.

When I was fed prison there was a D&D group. Whites and blacks playing together in fact.
>>
>>84069108
>Whites and blacks playing together in fact.
were race tribes as common in prison as people think they are?
>>
>>84069108
DnD in prison sounds comfy ngl
>>
>>84069115
It's a fed prison thing but yeah its almost enforced. Either group up with people your own color or from your own state. The whites got me in with their group and it sucked. Bunch of retarded petty drama bullshit and treating each other like shit. I hung arpund old black guys and the mexicans because they were chill. Next time I go I'm not doing that. I'm joining people from my own state. Though my fellow whites couldn't do much about not liking me since I was the only one taking care of this old diabetic guy who was my bunkie and he was a really nice and chill old man. A lot of people would try to take advantage of his generosity, but almost everyone liked and respected him. He even had a heart attack while I was there and I pushed him around in a wheelchair for a month. So no one would really seriously fuck with me since that would piss him off, which would piss off other people and lead to a big mess of shit.

I never played D&D in my life, but they seemed to enjoy it.
>>
>>84068726
If you can get over the nigger rape and snaking part yeah jail is pretty much you sit around jerking off to porn all day and eat three square meals of goyslop. Your reward for not contributing to society and actively harming society is that society funds your low inhib retard life now and placates you sometimes if you're a good boy
>>
>ignores commissary costs 3-5x as much as it does on the outside
>ignore that other inmates try to steal it
>ignore that it's sometimes used as a bargaining chip to keep yourself safe
Yeah...grass is greener etc. etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you are the type that would go into solitary thinking you'd hack it when there's so much documented evidence that everyone eventually cracks to the point that they're counting their hair and walking their tiny cell 16 hours during the day.
>>

>to the point that they're counting their hair and walking their tiny cell 16 hours during the day.
that doesn't sound bad at all
>>
>>84069490
Prison sounds like a video game
>>
>>84068726
I know some dudes who intentionally commit petty crimes just so they can go to jail. They get hot water, 3 meals a day, snacks and watching television. Its a lot better than being homeless for example.
>>
Which is why we should stop treating prison like a hotel vacation for criminals. Imagine if prison was like how it is in Mexico or North Korea or any other shithole country. Crime would happen less.
>>
>>84069969
If you send a innocent into jail what lawsuits that would usually cost several hundreds of thousands can go to hundreds of millions after all the torture
>>
>>84068726
There was an old Indian (feather not dot) in my hometown that would commit just enough of an infraction to get locked up in the winter and get let out in the late spring.
He would do handyman stuff to get money for alcohol. He probably was an alcoholic but he wasn't a sloppy drunk. He had a family of some kind, but they lived in Arizona. I guess he moved down with them shortly before he died. He made it to his late 70s I believe.
No real point to this, but county jail can be pretty comfy. Federal prison is also pretty cush. State penitentiary is where all the bad stuff happens. But it probably isn't to bad depending on the state
>>
I watch a woman on youtube that is 10 years sober and used to be in prison it sounds like a fucking nightmare
>creepy guards many will negotiate favors with junkie girls to hook them up
>autistic rules about food, can't save anything for later and small portions, people eat paper toothpaste and ground coffee to stave off hunger
>they only give you like 1 pair of underwear, 1 pair of socks, 1 shirt, 1 pants, and are very strict about giving you more so you end up reeking a lot
>they don't give you sanitatary products which is basically like toilet paper for us, wadding up toilet paper as a makeshift pad leads to utis
>tons of cliques and fights
>gay for stay drama
If I were sentenced to jail I'd legit just flee
>>
>>84069921
Until you realize all the people who said the same exact thing were broken in very short time and left with severe psychological issues they did not have prior.

>>84069957
It isn't. But what do I expect from a bunch of autists who would have to learn the hard way?

But its like a survival horror where one has to manage their resources, possibly even work with crafting
>>
>>84070319
Close, but it's more of a RPG game. You'll have to really beat up some of the other inmates in order to gain exp very quickly as many in the yard gain insane amount of str and dex in the yard without needing to level up. You can up your wis and int stats by either reading books at the library or reading the complementary bible when you are in the hole.
>>
>>84070132
>severe psychological issues
i already have that
