is coffee good for youlleell
>>84213595Most studies show it as having health benefits yes
kellogs is also healthy for you and eggs are le bad
>>84213601Eggs usually cause cholesterol levels to increase except in studies designed to hide that effect
>>84213595is fanta good for you
It's certainly not good for the people around you when you're in close quarters and talking to them with that nasty fucking breath.
>>84213595makes me want to shit like crazy so yeah
>>84213595why the fuck would a stimulant drug be good for you? I like it though
>>84213604you know there's two different types of cholesterol right? eggs prepared properly in moderate amounts increase HDL which is good for you
>>84213705can coffee make girls poop?
>>84213604>Eggs usually cause cholesterol levels to increase Yeah the good kind but kellogs specifically frankensteined two studies to advertise and imply that eggs are bad>eggs increase good cholesterol (study 1)>high cholesterol, the bad kind, gives heart disease (study 2)>eggs increase cholesterol and cholesterol is associated with heart disease (advertising claim)
>>84213709>>84213724HDL is not "good" for you and any increase in LDL is bad. Eggs do not only increase HDL. What does kellogs have to do with anything? There are hundreds of egg studies and very few are funded by kellogs.
>>84213735why is hdl bad? also i remember reading that the type of ldl you'd get from eggs is also different due to it's size
Why are you guys so worried about living longer?
>>84213824Low HDL with high LDL is bad, but that doesn't mean that high HDL is good. Optimally, you minimize your total cholesterol as much as possible. Eggs do not specifically increase HDL anyway. Atherosclerosis is caused by high cholesterol and reversed by low cholesterol. This looks into some studies which increased HDL, see sections 2 and 3.https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10331407/
>>84213885hmm interesting, what do you think of this overview of studies anon?https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9143438/
>>84213937>MDPIIt's well known that there's not a linear response with dietary cholesterol. That's how the egg board studies "prove" that eggs don't increase cholesterol, they do simple additions/substitutions on people already eating standard western diets. If you have a diet with 0mg of cholesterol and add a daily egg in, your serum cholesterol will skyrocket though.
>>84213735>What does kellogs have to do with anything? There are hundreds of egg studies and very few are funded by kellogs.Kellogs set the precedent for paying for studies for breakfasts to shill products that are inferior. Why is it that the rates of heart disease are higher now that egg consumption is lower? If you trace the funding of these studies you will find that they all have incentive.
>>84213961but some of those studies were chinese no? i guess they sorta have a western diet at this pointhow are you supposed to get a healthy diet with no animal products anyway since those all contain cholesterolthey should do a study where people eat a diet with no cholesterol also
>>84213976>Why is it that the rates of heart disease are higher nowBecause people are less active, consume more calories, more saturated fat, and more cholesterol than ever. >If you trace the funding of these studies you will find that they all have incentive. And yet you trust the egg board funded studies which all have major design flaws?
