Why do I see in tv shows women getting psychotically angry when asked to smile then the asker dies a horrible death or something like that? Never asked anyone to smile, it would never occur to me, if someone asked me I'd be all "why, there is no reason to smile", but I wouldn't be emotionalk or mad in any way. Obviously it is different for women, but still it seems pretty weird since n*rmies are constantly talking about this, that and the other yet something so innocuous is a social landmine.How am I supposed to tread such a laden social minefield?Is there some feminist theory or feminist reddit or twitter meme that says it is "le bad" at the root of it? Where did it come from?
