Literally most of the harmful stuff is killed when it is cooked. You cook your meat properly, and all of a sudden, you just evaded tapeworm or salmonella or trichinella or e coli or whatever else I can't think of right now. You could have contaminated meat, and you could eat it and suffer no consequences just because you cooked it. But if you eat contaminated meat raw, you simply get fucked. Like it's so easy to evade getting fucked by e coli all you have to do is cook the damn meat it's so simple why would you risk it?
