If you graduate HS and college (or don't go to college) without any friends that's it. It's over. There's nowhere to go for adults willing to make friends except uni. Its just work, go home for 40+ years then you die. People are more asocial than ever and I blame social media for this.

when i was playing runescape and i was hitting this big dumb rock this guy came up to me and gave me some rune pants ig and we talked for like 20 minutes i could not wait for him to get away from me
I met all of my friends after HS and college. Most are from anime cons and car enthusiast stuff. More recently I've made a few through shooting and motorcycle groups/events.
