I'm on disability, i neet and goon in my room all day, and i have a crush on my Dad because he is the only person who my mental illness allows me to feel anything for. I'm not going to sit her and lie to you that things will get better if you are in that same situation, because they likely won't. Unless they find some surgery to fix a defect brain and remove mental illness, this is all there is. I don't really expect much from my life anyway. If anything i nuked my Dad's life, because having a mentally ill daughter costed him his marriage and also possibly took him off of the dating scene. Yeah it does not get better...But if you have the physical capability to make friends or get a lover, you should keep trying. There are those of us who are locked out of this option completely.
