what do you guys think about that manhwa?
>>
Hello everyone. Hope you're all doing well this evening. Today was very lazy but that's okay.

>>84321194
>i guess i did have some choclate eggs
Were they nice? I'm glad that chocolate eggs are a thing there as well.
>what was it again? a concert?
Yes. Although most of my memories are of afterwards when everyone put their fumos together and took pictures of the cosplayers.
>thought about starting to write down the color scheme recipes for the miniatures i'm painting, so maybe that counts for something.
If I can write down anything at all I consider that a success, even if it's something like that.
>these days i usually go for a ritter sport, but for some time vivani dark whole hazelnuts
I've never heard of either of these but I'll keep my eyes peeled. Although thinking back my Aunt who lived in Germany might have sent some ritter sports over when I was a kid. Like the small variety pack ones.

"I really should read this at some point"

Going back threads now. I'm "playing" Fate/hollow ataraxia since visual novels are the only games I can handle these days

>>84325960
>ai-bros use that word as well.
i suppose in the end both are shitty results
>as i started looking into it even for a bit, i lost every bit of interest that might have been left.
I had a bit of interest in ai in the past, but the modern take on it has me a bit annoyed since most ai developers arent even doing development or fine tuning but just calling shit put out by a company that does all the heavy lifting and that's where I fizzle out and become disinterested
>not like any of that covid-money went into my pocket.
Both you and I made the mistake of worrying about groceries, unlike the smart folks at big business who thought about those low interest rates as being the perfect time to borrow a million dollars. Kinda came back to haunt them, which is why the economy sucks now, but hey poor people are still the ones getting fucked over
>highest religious holiday for christians actually
Always odd to me Americans especially dont care much for it, but more proof American Christianity being a front for big business interest and certain lobbies i won't get into
>time well spent.
Takes me back years. Still holds up so well too. Though I forgot how comically weighted some sides are at winning certain maps. I always remember pick clones or rebeles any Kashyk map, but then random other maps empire just sucks on. Not fun times then
>guess he's been burnt too often as well?
he likes Fate supposedly and actually pushed me to get into it after i dropped after the og old series. He disliked one other light novel adaptions (Fate/Apocrypha) and said it sounded stupid after mentioning one of the villains being a gothic lolita girl in strange fake. I honestly think Fate is one of the few series he has something of a waifu in and doesn't like anything she's not in. That's my theory at least.

yeah. honestly, it's going to be a bad thing when it finally does come down.
>None of the big AI companies are making a profit since the models are so obscenely expensive to make.
I don't even necessarily mean AI companies, but companies investing in it with 0 idea what they want other than reduced costs. They're looking for a golden ticket because things are bad and a lot of bad decisions have been made. AI companies just need people dependent on products then to try charging them what they want. Shit will blow up bad
>Maybe I will.

I got a tooth extracted today, one of the top wisdom teeth so ig I'm even dumber now ^^
it went well desu I expected my tooth to put up more of a fight, kinds disappointed in him
Besides, my uni is telling me I'll probably get kicked out which yep, I knew that,
I thought about maybe trying to extend things but I wouldn't pass anyway and I'd have to pay quite a lot to get it extended
Rn I'm gonna eat some tasty stuff and chill out
I thought about watching some movie but eeh not feeling like it just gonna watch yt
btw I posted that map I was working on
I didn't get an answer from the original author unfortunately tho

>>84325879

sorry you have to deal with that. I think if you don't feel like you can give another chance, sometimes might be better to accept and think things over than go back. I think a lot of people think uni is what they should just do my default and it messes up a lot of people who lose money but don't really feel it
>gonna watch yt

hi discanon!

>Hope you're all doing well this evening
i'm just glad i'm home. had a really long day. glad we're close to the weekend.

>Today was very lazy but that's okay.
lucky you. ^^

>Were they nice?
they were filled with something that was a bit too sweet for my taste. i think i like the solid ones more. what brand did you get?

>Yes. Although most of my memories are of afterwards when everyone put their fumos together and took pictures of the cosplayers.
sounds like a great fan event. :D might look stupid for asking, but what's a fumo?

>If I can write down anything at all I consider that a success, even if it's something like that.
that's a good way to look at it. maybe i'll do something like a hobby diary. that might even motivate me.

>Although thinking back my Aunt who lived in Germany might have sent some ritter sports over when I was a kid.
yeah, i'm german and those are all german brands. depending on where you live, you might find an aldi somewhere (it's a sort of supermarket), but i don't know if they have the same products. and you're probably right. ritter sport usually comes as a square cocolate bar, but they have those smaller variety packs as well. do you remember how you liked them?

hi officeanon!

>visual novels are the only games I can handle these days
fair. i wouldn't know which to play, but they're a nice low-energy way to engage with something.

>the modern take on it has me a bit annoyed since most ai developers arent even doing development or fine tuning
i guess it's an equivalent to building your own game engine instead of licensing one from another company? if so, i'm sure it has it's merits, but doesn't really move anything forward or rewards unique ways of looking at a problem.

>Both you and I made the mistake of worrying about groceries, unlike the smart folks at big business who thought about those low interest rates as being the perfect time to borrow a million dollars
hehe, yeah. i really had a good laugh when watching gary stevenson's iran war video and how you can protect yourself from the economic fallout. his answer was quite blunt and honest: own the resources. he has quite a lot of his money investet in oil, so this whole ordeal is just making him more money.

>poor people are still the ones getting fucked over
yeah. i think it's the being poor part that really becomes an issue. :/

>Always odd to me
it's the whole resurrection thing, i think, but i'd be lying if i said i fully understand the theological reasoning behind it.

>more proof American Christianity being a front for big business interest and certain lobbies
sure, but even here people place more importance on the big bunny that hides eggs and presents instead of that jesus guy, i feel.

>I always remember pick clones or rebeles any Kashyk map, but then random other maps empire just sucks on. Not fun times then
i guess, but where's the fun when everything is just a walk in the park?

>companies investing in it with 0 idea what they want other than reduced costs
Ah, I see. I wonder which industries are actually saving money with it. I know some places need to hire an AI janny to make sure it's working right, meaning the cost savings probably aren't even that good.
>i feel sick even thinking about eating that much chocolate one sitting

>his answer was quite blunt and honest: own the resources
in general, having enough money to not have to worry about things goes a long way in life!
> the theological reasoning behind it.
I get that part. Resurrection is single most important event in the entire Christian worldview. Birth is important, but really doesn't mean much if he just showed up is my understanding of it.
> the big bunny
honestly, always been the most terrifying part of the holiday for me. Santa is okay, but keep the giant, anthropomorphic rabbit man away from me
>where's the fun
not being too easy is fine. Giving you an unwinnable battle is not fun though. Spending the entire match running from the island on the other side of the water because rebels took both command posts 2 minutes into the kashyk docks match is not fun
>>84327009
>never liked series that change the cast
fate isn't so much a series in a strictly connected sense. Characters overlap and show up time to time, but each entry is fairly standalone save for the same lore and rules. So it very much is a series you could like one or two entries and not the rest, but he said he liked the Babylon anime which is where I call bullshit
>>
>>84327098
>How so? Low demand?
those parts aren't going down till AI setbacks happen like I said. That's the only thing economy is holding onto. If the bubble burst the talk about happens, it's going to a disaster. Employment opportunities are already non-existent and hiring is lower than the 2008 recession.
> AI janny to make sure it's working right
the thing is, it's useful in some ways, but you need to mostly know how to use it and that's the thing a lot of places get wrong is the decision makers who insist it needs to work are the ones who know least about it.
>wonder if it's a good thing
makes it easier to enjoy life i suppose

>I got a mint Aero egg. If there are still some left I might grab a Cadbury one. That would be quite nostalgic for me.
ah, that bubbly chocolate stuff. it's a nice, crumbly texture. i think only milka ever made a bar like that here, but i haven't had (or seen) one in ages. i remember eating a lot of cadbury when i was on vacation in the uk with family and friends. the curly wurlies were my favorite.

>The little Touhou plushies.

>spending way too much money on the diary so I felt obligated to use it.

>the closest one to me now is in Australia. I think I got milka bars from there a few times.
probably not worth it to head there just to shop at a discounter. ^^ probably the most popular brand here and the chocolate i had the most as a kid.

>I'm mostly doing in since I'm on a Fate/Type Moon in general craze.
if you're having a good time and it scratches that itch, what's not to like? have fun!

>having enough money to not have to worry about things goes a long way in life!
i wonder why not more people think of it! :0 to be fair, he's not talking about what individuals should do, but what people should advocate for in politics to avoid that the biggest part of society falls back into poverty. he just uses himself as an example to show how certain things work (and what people who aren't on your side are already doing).

>really doesn't mean much if he just showed up is my understanding of it.
probably sums it up quite well.

>keep the giant, anthropomorphic rabbit man away from me
it's one of those things you just accept and better not ask questions about. or else...

>Spending the entire match running from the island on the other side of the water because rebels took both command posts 2 minutes into the kashyk docks match is not fun
i suppose that's true, but i don't remember it being much of an issue. than again, it's been a long time since i played any of those games, so maybe i'd think about it differently now.
>>
>>84327170
>So it very much is a series you could like one or two entries and not the rest, but he said he liked the Babylon anime which is where I call bullshit
makes sense, but i don't think this approach is something i enjoy. never liked it when series like digimon or games like final fantasy did it, either. i think i need a strong main cast that stays i focus. i guess that's also why i can't get into long running shonen. at some point the characters i enjoy get dropped and i can't force myself to stay with the series when that happens.
>>
>>84327537

>who aren't on your side are already doing

> i don't remember it being much of an issue. than again,
i love the games but have grievances with a few maps (stupid shield bunker included), but obviously not so bad since i played recently enough and had a lot of fun. original is definitely better than 2 by a mile
>>84327579
> i think i need a strong main cast that stays i focus.
i think it boils down to liking the formula. I don't like Final Fantasy really, but have to treat the games as almost different series if you think along the lines you mentioned. Whereas something like Dangranronpa I like even though you know characters are different each one. though i do wish I'd get to see my favorite fate servant again which is one thing that always grates me with that series when some get special treatment
>why i can't get into long running shonen.
long running shonen you might also deal with characters being reduced to a more laughable/weaker version of themself just getting shoehorned in as well, which is another issue and a point in favor of only making things as long as they need to be

how long is it? i guess the simpler they are in their presentation, the longer they can be.

>anyone who has the money to do these things is guaranteed not to be on anyone's side other than their own
there are some people with money that are aware of the issues with the current system and are trying to change it, but, as always, it's hard to convince people to make any meaningful changes, no matter how beneficial those might be or who's advocating for them.

>original is definitely better than 2 by a mile
i can't even remember which one i played. do both have a conquest mode?

>Whereas something like Dangranronpa I like even though you know characters are different each one
i suppose it is different for games or series where there's lots of characters dying and when you know that going into it, it's ok. i just don't like it when i'm engaged in a world and the characters and then everything is switched around for no apparent reason without me knowing it going in.

>i do wish I'd get to see my favorite fate servant again

We'll see what happens. 4000 or so words in a week shouldn't be too difficult.
>it's a nice, crumbly texture
It'd been a few years since I had it, so it was very nice. Even if it cost about 11 euros since it was imported.
>the curly wurlies were my favorite
My parents would always remind me those used to be huge.
>where does the name come from?
In Japanese the onomatopoeia for fluffy is mofu. I'm pretty sure it's a play on that.
>it's money well spent
To be fair it worked, because I'm on diary five now.
>probably the most popular brand here
It's pretty tasty so I can understand why. The Oreo one is very nice.
>can't go wrong with hazelnuts
It seems pretty rare to find hazelnut chocolate in the UK (or here), so I'm quite jealous of the Germans in that regard.
>i had something like that to. those are awesome. :]
I don't think they're very common in the UK. Now that I think about it, it's probably a German thing that my aunt brought over for us. Are they common there?
>even though it uses a german word as their brand, it's actually from italy
The more you know... I've been living a lie. Did you ever get one of those really big kinder eggs for Christmas?

Hi anons, I'm probably gonna cut today for the first time in around 1.5 years. Tried leaving a relationship that i'm not happy in but the girl convinced me to stay and kinda just refuses to break up.
I feel miserable no matter what i do. I tried meds, therapy, psych ward, going out with friends, talking to people, sleeping around, focusing on my hobbies. Eventually i get bored of everything and go back to feeling like shit.
I hope life is going better for all of you. Or at least will get better eventually

the fate one is like 60 hours apparently. Witch on the Holy Night is only half that, but still at a couple hours a week I'll be busy a while
>simpler they are in their presentation
i mean, it's sprites overtop of still images usually. Doesn't get simpler than that. Length goes to how long they need for the story being told
>no matter how beneficial those might be or who's advocating for them.
many people advocating against changing anything, so even powerful people have their work cut out
>do both have a conquest mode?
yeah they do. the original didn't have space maps or heroes (which is my least favorite thing in 2 since they defeat the point of the game). First also released before Revenge of the Sith so maps only covered up to the Clone Wars(no Coruscant or Mustafar like 2 which really tried to connect to the movie since it came out around the same time).
>lots of characters dying and when you know that going into it
It just dawned on me both series I mentioned are technically killing games... Japanese like that formula it seems since even JJK has turned into that
>everything is switched around for no apparent reason
I'd say this is actually what happened to me with chainsaw man so i get it. Even if it made sense, story into something I (and frankly most people) no longer cared about
>should have bought more merch
I bought every figure there was but I'm only one person! I just spent over 200 dollars on a figure for one of the characters in the new Fate so if they don't add her to Grand Order I'm going to riot.

no and it wasn't when they were. Democrats were out of touch and spent years pushing issues no one cared about ignoring how bad things were while focusing weird identity politics issues no one with a job has time for. Both are garbage and equally as corrupt, appealing to equally delusional voter bases.
>did you lose all the hope in the government?
i never had any faith in it to be blunt. I was never patriotic and never will be. I have more friends who are from and still loyal to countries that are basically enemies of the US, so technically speaking I don't even care about others from my country the way people have that sense of connection and honestly have nothing but negative views of it's place in the world
>>
>>84334371
>Children's MMO
what was it anyway?
> could feasibly stop being offered because it makes no money.
i don't think it's going to stop, but distribution and pricing could change too. That's the part of all this I'm waiting for is when those companies need to generate money, what will the fees look like vs what they wanted to save and so on. I don't see how you can do business safely if you're relying on an external firm to run your core business processes. Seems absolutely self destructive, and I'm saying that to dismiss the technology.
>stenonychosaurus
pretty neat reason. I think I was partially influenced by that third, terrible Jurassic Park movie where the only thing good about it was the spinosaurus looked pretty cool. think i had a toy dinosaur of him

yes, very. the most common ones are just boxes with 24 compartments containing chocolate you can get at most stores and then there's ones you fill yourself with whatever you want. friend of mine always makes one for his girlfriend. companies tried to make "easter calendars" a thing, but i don't think it took of. coworker of mine even made a ramadan calender for one of her nephews. it's a thing here.

craziest thing is I'm considering going to play the original as well since there is technically no anime adaptation of the 1st route and they cut a lot from the movies.
>souls-games clock in at around 100 hours
those are dense games and I think 100 hours for an RPG isn't that crazy thinking over the games I put in that kind of time into.

I think the two Fate visual novels skew longer but there's a lot of fan service and silly stuff on the side going on in the one I'm playing now.

priced about the same. I don't mind since get the money worth either way. Was like 20 dollars for each respectively and I don't mind giving money to type moon
>i think i played 2.

if there's one thing I know about them is they almost always release characters that have waifu value since they make money on those so I should be fine.
