season's greetings fellow robots. i have a question for you all, and what are some of your unique forms of escapism?

and before you start, no, "unique" in this context does not mean masturbating to porn or pretending to be a woman.

Creating thorough fake game design documents including the plot, the settings, drawn maps and general lore to pretend they'll be games one day.
>>
2d waifus and husbandos!!!
>>
I go to whiteboardfox dot com and draw penises on every one else's drawings
>>
I make maps for the source engine nobody will ever play. I just love to share and see imaginary worlds.

Isn't this the plot to that Source game Beginners Guide?
>>
I do MDMA and listen to ASMR with a sleeping mask, very immersive. Sadly I can only do this once a month.
>>
I watch shonen anime as a form of escapism

I create my own character cards for AI roleplay for myself only. Takes a lot of fine-tuning, practice, and time. Allows me to think through the setting, rules, world building. It's the same creative outlet as making (video) games or writing a story/book, but not quite the same, because it is a mix of both.
It is a good way to distract and escape, because you have to imagine the atmosphere and the interactions quite vividly.
