There is no god
why would there be?
>>
>There is no god because I'm a repulsive, lazy, spiteful loser freak no one wants to be around
redditors in a nutshell
>>

I'm convinced he's some faggot who loves laughing at your plans, tormenting you, then damning you for hating him and becoming twisted after a life of heartache and struggle. Fuck you, Jahweh, you demiurge jew faggot.

The jews are still winning despite all those fighting the "good fight". This show is just a mess. God is like that villain from spawn. A joke
>>
i'm a taoist because it's the only divine force that is easily explained through the observation of natural phenomenon even if it was created as rationalization. Most people want a god that zooms on the universe and watches every moment of your life intimately. I don't think that's realistic. Bad things are allowed to happen and lives can be totally meaningless or full of undue suffering. God probably only cares about us to the extent that we have some divine spark and care about ourselves

Jews need a sign
-bible
If you want to be a jew go ahead
God tried to fix us (flood), but we are to fucked up. Now he just forgives us
>>
does it matter? even if a god exists, it has no relevance in your life whatsoever. just do your own shit and stop worrying about stupid stuff like that
>>
>>84387990
what? im talking about taoism dude, that's not jewish. what the fuck are you talking about. get a clear head and wash yourself before tackling religion.

god is a nigger, abraphamic retards are like beaten housewives
>>
>>84388046
sorry that taoism hasn't helped you with your anger or your vision
you should consider learning from a western religion if you want to live in the western world

>something exists
>something cannot come from nothing
>therefore, something has always existed
>this something can rationally only be defined as God because it transcends both time and space
There you go, proof for God's existence that can be understood by both retards and geniuses.
No, I am not talking about "God" as in "Yahweh" or "the Demiurge" or "the 'God' of the Old Testament" which are all something else and not actually God.
>>
>>84388092
>proof
You don't know what that word means
>>
>>84388092
Honestly atheist have no argument against this, they cope that the universe created itself ex nihilo, but that doesn't make any sense.
>>
>>84388091
Whatever moron
>>
>>84388107
Sorry anon, that's the best word I can possibly use. God transcends Science (because otherwise, he wouldn't be God) and he also transcends names and human language in general, which is why people have such a hangup with the term "God" or referencing God as a "He" or "Him".

It does matter when there is a zeitgeist of growing apathy around you and sinister forces are seering the latches holding up the bride ways. Unfortunately we dont live in a vacuum so people around us affect our every day and someone motived enough about their cause can lead social harmony to sudden ruin. Basically if we're all in a train and some retard decides to start yelling out loudly it would crack the foundation of all of our peace and there people out there like that
>>
>>84388118
since taoism isn't helping with your anger what else have you tried
or are you just brown
>>
why do people think they can explain things they don't know, using the limited amount of things they understand right now? being able to say "i have no fucking idea" is the biggest proof of maturity
>>
>>84388092
That could just as easily imply that everything has always existed rather than just something
>>
>>84388141
You would be correct and incorrect at the same time, because God transcends human concepts of things existing.
>>
>>84388129
there's a time for calm, and a time for anger.
>>
>>84388152
If God trascends the concept of existing, then you cannot justify the existence of God on the basis of existential contingency. That chain breaks both ways
>>
>>84388165
there is never a time for anger
anger clouds your mind and soul. always
you are very cloudy

I dont think it has to have always existed to qualify as God. You didn't exist before but do now and that's still enough to be verified or denied based on how mythical the course of your life goes
>>
>>84388179
yeah dont try to go all gung ho with the new age when you're going on racist tirades every other post
get a shred of self awareness.
>>
>>84387842
immediately getting mad doesn't prove god exist
>>
>>84388131
Because sometimes a gut "feeling" does more for you than meticulous thinking. Think being on the road and you decide not to swerve lanes and later on an accident happens, that sort of thing
>>
>>84388201
just stop being angry and brown. the moment you stop is the moment you will see that racism isn't real. you are just angry at point seeing you for who you are
>>
>>84387783
I went through a long atheist phase and heavily contemplated the existence of a higher power. One thing that convinced me that some sort of higher power exists: we live in an infinite universe that has always existed and will forever exist, where there is an unlimited amount of time for something to come into existence. We, as humans, evolved relatively recently and have achieved amazing technological and medical innovation in such a short period, most of it in the last 200 years. With that in mind, Is it not likely that sometime over the last trillions of years, something else would have developed, something far more intelligent than us, something that would have mastered the secrets of the universe, developed immortality, the ability to travel beyond the speed of light, to generate something out of thin air, just as a computer programmer develops code? It seems inevitable to me. As long as it is, in theory, possible for such advancements to take place, it will have happened --- it's a statistical impossibility that it will over an infinite amount of time.
>>
>>84388204
you are addressing a completely different thing, and i somewhat agree with you
>>
>>84388209
>addressing a completely different thing
what if he's not and you are wrong?
>>
>>84388209
How would it differ though? Wouldn't finding god be synonymous with leading a crime investigation? You obviously dont have a prime suspect but have witnesses (for a presence or lack thereof)
>>
>>84388239
i would be cool with that, but acting on intuition doesn't mean there are things you won't be able to explain. gut feelings can help you in a lot of ways
>>84388246
this analogy just doesn't work, yet again because you are comparing the search for a god with a well defined procedure within our own limitations of understanding things

Very poor personal character on display
>>
>>84388287
you think being brown is only skin deep
that confirms you are brown
>>
>>84388294
enjoy your thread, man
>>
>>84388282
Yeah but what if it is, and there are star witnesses like the analogy i made earlier. If there a first person to exist there's good chance that there is a God simply from that fact
>>
>>84388298
you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink
I will explain this for you, free of charge

you are the horse (you are not a literal horse)
I have lead you to water, the water is knowledge (do not try to read the water like a book, it will not work)
it's now up to you (horse) to understand (drink water)

there is nothing more I can do. it's all up to you
>>
>>84387783
There could be an intelligent creator
I just don't think the Christians have it right, and it's probably not something we can understand now or possibly ever
>>
>>84388207
What convinced you time is infinite? As time progresses possibilities decrease and what worries me is the idea of an end state to the universe where nothing is still possible.

I feel like the first person had either a deeo connection with God as God's extension or was infected God themselves. Think about it like this, this universe, to me atleast, works as a median of all consciousnesses in the universe. I believe if you gathered enough people in a small town and you had all the residents in the town.hall dream up a new creature, like a small dragon for example, they could accomplish this. Think about it. Pencils and tables dont exist until they are physically made. So the sky could be made green, purple or black if we wanted it
>>
>>84388355
Why would there be? Light is the source of all matter, and it only takes resonance to form complex proteins and what you call the magic "golden ratio". If designed, presence is unnecessary. It will build itself. Shame about all of the humans in power who madly ensure that every born god is killed.
