>>84394861hey fren!>how are youalright, just feeling a bit unmotivated >wanna use it todayI don't think you should >whole brain is in a stormwhy? D:>you went on new bikerides?nope but I did go on like paintball on saturday
Hello everyone. I fell asleep by mistake again and now I'm up at a weird hour.>>84389186>what is it?A model kit of Unit-02 from Eva. I managed to get Unit-00 and Unit-01 a while ago, but Asuka's has eluded me for years.>where can i subscribe? i'd rather give you money than netflix. :pI've been thinking of opening it up publicly but it's kind of a security nightmare to do that and there's a 0% chance I've configured it right. There was a very bad remote-code execution bug found in Jellyfin recently so it's probably not worth the risk. >what would that contain? At the moment it's just what I'm reading now (Watamote) and what I plan to read in the future. My taste isn't very good so I'll probably add any recommendations you have.>which one?The pink-haired girl from Watamote. I feel bad for Tomoko since all the other girls are better than her.>as long as it sparks joyThat's true. I own a lot of dumb stuff but I'd be lying if I said most of it didn't make me happy.>i've been back to their stuffI've always tuned into Wheel of the Worst when they do one of those. I just find the obscure tapes on it fascinating.>>84389760>If you do it often all the time, you spend nothing to winThat makes sense. Maybe I should get in on this...>I feel personally attacked but not significantlyAt least you didn't do your doctoral thesis on it, r-right?>I'm drawing a huge blank for most of the middle of the movie save for Yoda showing up.To be fair I can't really remember either. It's mostly the gang pissing around in the base on Hoth, right.Maybe I should do a movie night for the thread where we watch it.>>84394861Hi rememberme. Sorry to hear you're not doing so hot.I can't stop you but I'd recommend not using it. As you said, the cleanup will probably be a pain.
>>84395566hellomaybe you could go to sleep again??
also im prett sleepy
>>84389819>when thread mascot starts waving a gun in your facethere's a lot of good reasons for that, but it would still be nice to know why.>just to be close to Disney. Those people scare mei'd rather go wrestle gators than to bother with anything disney at this point...>Living in the countryside here is a very easy way to limit your potential social circlei've never connected well with people. i can't stand the people where i live, but i'm also not able to be with people who share my interests, so it doesn't matter where i am.>the era of terrible low budget movie tie in games.dark times indeed.>I'll remember to be at least a little careful if I ever hear someone from Germany offer me a "gift" now D:probably should be on high alert no matter the circumstances.>when you can just cut resources and push it out faster?which seems to be the leading thought these days. why do quality that lasts when you just can grab some money by shoveling out garbage first.>>84394535hi catbro! good evening to you, too.>>84394861hi rem!>>84395566double dubs! :D>Asuka's has eluded me for years.glad you found and good job hunting for as long as you did. i'd probably given up at some point.>it's kind of a security nightmarprobably for the best to keep things for yourself. really no reason to get yourself into any kind of trouble when you can just avoid it.>My taste isn't very good so I'll probably add any recommendations you have.just read what you enjoy. doesn't even matter why. it's nice when the thing you like is objectively good, but i found that at best there's correlation between those two things. what kind of genres do you like to read?>I feel bad for Tomoko since all the other girls are better than her.i've seen the character a lot, but never got into the series. what's it about?>I own a lot of dumb stuff but I'd be lying if I said most of it didn't make me happy.then it was worth getting it.
slow thread it seems. Sorry couldn't show up sooner. Busy with work.I did some shopping for a cosplay I'm going to do. I bought the most absurdly tight shirt I think I've ever worn in my life. Slightly intimidated by the thought of going out wearing it when I go to next con but have between now and then.>>84394861hey rm. Please try not to if you can resist. Sorry you're not doing well and struggling with a lot, but that box cutter is last thing you need right now>>84395323hey cat>paintball on saturdayooh nice. wish i could try this. >>84395566>I'm up at a weird hour.me on a daily basis waking up at 3:30>Maybe I should get in on thisI do it because it's convenient and i enjoy it. I know some people resell things they win, but I don't know that's worth all the effort(or that staff would appreciate it)>At least you didn't do your doctoral thesis on it, r-right?yup, i'm not that bad! it's sad to imagine people actually doing this.... I won't go into great detail, but I find it all rather confusing, but I got pulled into it by someone else so I've touched this stuff way more than I wish I did still>It's mostly the gang pissing around in the base on HothI looked it up, also the Millenium Falcon is stuck in an asteroid belt for like an hour.>movie night for the thread where we watch it.not a bad idea though might be hard pressed to coordinate where everyone is around
>>84395566>I just find the obscure tapes on it fascinatingtrue. they got a collection of really weird stuff on their. the knife-instruction one for cops was great. ^^>>84395858good night and sleep well!i'm feeling a bit strange tonight. the wow-private-server i was playing on with my friends will be shut down. that was always a possibility and the announcement of it didn't really impact me at all, but after logging in today and seeing how empty stormwind was i got a sinking feeling in my stomach that hasn't left since. had some good times there.
>>84395911>i'd rather go wrestle gators than to bother with anything disneyor their fans. Gators aren't that bad. Easy to deal with, and are pretty quiet and inoffensive to deal with. Too expensive to live in those areas too though so all the more reason not to.> so it doesn't matter where i am.that's fair. Everyone is different, so what's true for one isn't necessarily all.>dark times indeed.come to think, I think I played the bourne conspiracy video game too and I didn't even watch those movies lol> can grab some money by shoveling out garbage first.least of all no reason to stop when armies of idiots will line up to defend trash >>84395981>i'm feeling a bit strange tonight.sorry to hear this. That's unfortunate to see something like that. Guess best you can do is appreciate that you had those times there. not much can be done with these things on blizzards radar like we talked about
>>84396066>or their fansi don't think i've ever interacted with someone like that before, but i guess i know what kind you're talking about. >Too expensive to live in those areas too though so all the more reason not to.a fool and his money are soon to be parted.>Everyone is different, so what's true for one isn't necessarily all.true, but i always wonder why people slave away in poverty while they could just slave away in slightly less terrible conditions. i don't get it, but as you said, everyone is different. to be fair though, i'm sick and tired of being different.>the bourne conspiracy video game too and I didn't even watch those movies loli think i watched them, but hardly remember anything about them. how was the game?>when armies of idiots will line up to defend trashleave that multi-billion dollar company that absolutely hates me and thinks of me as cattle alone!>That's unfortunate to see something like thatit is. you can say what you want about the turtle-wow devs, but at least they were passionate about creating a community-focussed experience. there was more passion for the game than in anything blizzard made for the last 15 years.>Guess best you can do is appreciate that you had those times thereyup. my friends and i are planning to be on when they shut it down for good. show some appreciation that way.>not much can be done with these things on blizzards radar like we talked aboutyeah. the reason why projects like this need to go down is because they show people that you could have better things for your money than corpos are willing to produce. hope the turtlewow-devs make their own game one day.
>>84395850>maybe you could go to sleep again??I'm too awake now to do that, unfortunately. I need t go to the post office today so I'm not sure if I should stay awake for 2 more hours and go when it opens or just try to nap.>>84395911>good job hunting for as long as you didIt's not been an active hunt. I just saw it in my local mall and figured I may as well go for it, since it wasn't too expensive.the only problem is I can't cancel my backorder from three years ago, so if they ever rerelease it I'll have two.>really no reason to get yourself into any kind of trouble when you can just avoid it.Yeah. The safest way to do it seems to be sharing a Wireguard config or setting up Tailscale, so I might give that a try if I want to let people that aren't my parents use it.>what kind of genres do you like to read?I tend to keep things light because I usually read stuff in bed before sleeping. Most of the physical manga I own is comedy/sol stuff.>what's it about? It's a slice of life thing. Tomoko is a social misfit. The early volumes and the anime are about her being a loner and kind of a weird autist in uncomfortable situations. Volume 8 is kind of an inflection point since she makes friends on a school trip and the cast gets a lot bigger. Not everyone likes that direction but it introduced a lot of characters I like.>then it was worth getting itIs the right answer given how much I've spent on it.
>>84395975>I did some shopping for a cosplay I'm going to doI'm shopping for one now for the big con here in a few months. It'll be my first time cosplaying in public so I'm a little nervous but I'll be with my friend so hopefully it won't be too bad.>I do it because it's convenient and i enjoy itI feel like I'd just get bummed out that I lost money trying to win stuff, so maybe I should save my money on other things. >it's sad to imagine people actually doing this...Statistically someone must have. We'll know in a couple of years once the publishing embargos start lifting.>I've touched this stuff way more than I wish I did stillIs this on the academic side, or the dev side?>the Millenium Falcon is stuck in an asteroid belt for like an hourI thought I might have been mixing that up with a Star Fox level...>might be hard pressed to coordinate where everyone is aroundAnything with different timezones is hard to do. I'm sure we can figure something out if there's enough demand.>>84395981>the knife-instruction one for cops was great. ^^Shoji Tabuchi is the standout for me.>but after logging in today and seeing how empty stormwind was i got a sinking feeling in my stomach that hasn't left sinceSeeing something you like ending is always sad. At least they gave some notice rather than killing it abruptly.I remember when Toontown shut down like 13 years ago. Teenage me was sadder than you'd think. You'll always have the memories, at least.
