Copper is already mineable by the period, and there's broad awareness of loadstones you could use to take iron (something that exists but is not highly valued until the iron age when tin becomes scarce) and turn it into more magnets. You don't need to carve a cylinder shape out of the magnets, you only need to basically shape a drum and put magnets on the wall and spin them around the axle. The picture in question implies you have people's attention. it was only asked to provide the knowledge not to build the thing solely on your own with no tools, property or help like it's fucking minecraft or something.
