Habbo Hotel, 2006. I joined in on the raid on a whim because the video game forum I was on participated in it. Some negras broke rules 1 & 2 and I found /b/ shortly afterwards.

A girl from my high school posted "Save it for r9k" on my friend's facebook when he was memeing about something. So I looked it up because I didn't know what r9k was and found this place. I already knew about 4chan but this board showed up after I stopped using it the first time.

had a crush who was really into 4chan humour and i came here just to be nearer to him in a way. people have spaces that they exist in and i wanted to be a part of his world. i realized only recently actually that the specific reason he is into incel/4chan humour is because thats just what the other boys in school that he grew up with were into and this was all just his attempt at trying to be a normal boy/more human. he's gay. and all his life he has tried to explain why he is so different. i wish i could talk to him about it.

Someone on another website told me about /b/ in 2007. I went to the 4chan and stuck around because the chaos and lack of authority appealed to me, and I am here still. It has been a bit sad to see this place somehow get even worse, but it's the only place I can belong online.

I was a /b/tard and when it started to be shit, which was maybe 2014ish, people were talking about /r9k/ over there, so I ended up here.
this is like what /b/ was before it was infested with porn porn porn and more porn.

I was 14 or 15 riding in the back of my mom's car on my way to school. I was particularly bored that day so I went to look for a new 4chan board to browse. "Hmm, robot 9001 that sounds cool" I was greeted with a picture of a shaved man's ass with a but plug in it and the thread read "are you really gay if you would pound this ass?" I was immediately disgusted and shut off my phone. At lunch I reopened it and refreshed the page, saw a bunch of rare pepe threads, and have been in and out ever since.

It's crazy because I don't vividly remember discovering any other board like I do with this one. Guess the gay porn scarred me.
