>>84432214not at all how it goes, every single person in any form of customer service or retail will either be actively hostile to any attempts to talk or be completely confused and just start blurting out scripted speech at an increasingly faster rate to cut you off and end the interaction as quickly as possible if not just walk off during it. at best you get a fluoride stare. teenagers are still half alive but anyone above 19 will resent any sort of indication you are not as dead inside as them.

All I ever get is a energy drink, and its always so awkward. One of the cashiers at my gas station is this methhead who has a dent in his head and talks about conspiricys I know about but im too nervous to reply so I usually just nod. Another one is this sperg who always tries to sell me the chocolates at the register. Thinking about it now its actually pretty funny
