All of my friends somehow have jobs in tech or medicine while everyone on the internet says the job market is fucked and its a waste of time studying anything. What do? Give up and neet?
>>84467347theres a slight chance that throwing your life away on the advice of anonymous people on the incel forum of the internet instead of following your peers examples was a mistake>t. did the same thing
>>84467347I have a job in tech AND I say the market is shit.I had more job offers when I had 6 months of experience than now that I have 5 years. Raises don't really happen anymore, and I didn't pass a single full interview process in 2-3 years. Most people are 1 layoff away from being jobless for the next year/s.I assume your friends aren't recent graduates.Anyway, I'm not saying it's not possible. But what I would say is.. if you're from burgerland, and are seriously considering college, maybe you'd be better off attending it in some shitty eastern european country where the tuition is like 1000$ a year. There's options for courses taught fully in English. This way, if you end up jobless, at least you didn't bleed a shitton of money for it too
economy is and always has been fake. you have to get a degree and chase a career. your only other option is carrying shit on your back.
