It's treated as a cure all to many problems people have that could be solved via other methods, it doesn't actuall help much but whenever you stop taking then you feel horrible and assume that that's your "normal" instead of it being withdrawal, it's very difficult to get off them due to said withdrawal, and its ultimately not good for your health.So I'd say it does matter quite a bit.
