I sleep for 12 hours a day and I can't wake up properly. It is still major suffering. I'd like to sleep only 9 hours or somethong and I put up multiple alarms but my body just won't move. It feels like a limp sausage. I hate all this crap. How do I get out of this rut as a neet? It's not cool at all.
>>
>>84491524
sleeping for too long and being unable to get up is a sign of depression or vitamin/mineral deficiency. i hate to be that guy since you're a NEET you probably dont get a lot of sunlight and eat like shit. going outside and eating properly is easy to fix, try that
>>
>>84491559
I don't go outside every day, but I do so regularly and I eat pretty varied food. I don't really feel depressed either hence why it annoys me so much. I hoped I could get over it after winter passed, but nope. It used to be the case that I didn't sleep much during summers at all. I'm getting old holy shit.
>>
>>84491584
actually i find myself sleeping in like this more often as i get older. difference is i have to force myself out of bed often so maybe its just a mental thing. if there is no consequence for not getting out of bed then your brain just doesnt care to get up. you should just make a habit of getting up when your first alarm rings
>>
are you a bio dude? born with a cock and balls?

You need to hit the gym 5 days a week. Work up to this slowly, start with like 2 days. IT sounds like you don't do much physical training.

If you start regularly going to the gym and you'll realize that you have more energy because you went and worked out.
>>
>>84491621
but then id be wasting all my time at the gym. also there are people there...
>>
>>84491524
It doesnt get better man
>>
>>84491641
>but then id be wasting all my time at the gym. also there are people there...
if you don't care about bodybuilding, doing pushups, squats and sit-ups at home does a lot if you are doing nothing right now. Go for a run a couple days per week too, and when you are getting better you can buy a doorframe pull-up bar and dumbbells. Also take Vitamin D and Zink pills in the morning and Magnesium at night. That combination increase your test as a man and you will be happier. If you take more than 3000 iu of vitamin D like you should, make sure the pills include vitamin K or there's a risk of vein calcification. Also you need to take copper from time to time because zink depletes it. They sell pills, you just need to take like once or twice a week, if you feel like vomiting after taking the pill it means your copper levels are good enough and you are overdosing. Google all I said, it's very basic supplement shit and those actually work.
>>
>>84491621
Actually i am female but I am only saying it because you asked

>>84491603
This is strange because usually old people actually find themselves struggling to sleep and wake up really early... When will I unlock this power?

>>84491674
I remember mom giving me some acne complex with copper in it and it legit made me vomit lol...
>>
>>84491747
>I remember mom giving me some acne complex with copper in it and it legit made me vomit lol
most people aren't deficient in copper, they get enough from food and mineral water. But if you are going to take zink you need to take some copper from time to time. Or you can just eat liver every week, liver has almost everything you need.
>>
Me too, I've always been like this- low energy. 9 hours is the bare minimum sleep for me and I still struggle to stay away all day even with so much caffeine I get stomach issues.
I think I am simply depressed, and so are you probably
>female
uhh wanna bedrot 24/7 toghether?
>>
>>84491769
Stop taking caffeine regularly you fucking retard. It worsen your sleep and at some point you get used to it and you need to take it just to have normal energy levels. When I quit caffeine I had withdrawal symptoms, I was sweating a lot, had a constant headache and I was irritable. caffeine is a drug, it's just a socially acceptable one because it keeps wagies in the cage.

I know its a drug but when I quit, no matter for how long I don't take it, I just don't have energy and focus.
You don't know me, you don't know the depths of my apathy, I am taking adhd meds (bupropion) too to stay awake.
>>
>>84491769
No I dont actually wanna bedrot at all. My body is just betraying me. I want to do so much. I wanna learn japanese, how to sew, how to crochet, make a game buy a van and travel through asia.

>>84491755
can i just eat shrimp liver is gross
>>
>>84491779
op here, I dont usually take caffeine, but when I do I do it for sleep. It makes me have very succulent deep sleps
>>
>>84491786
Bupropion is not adhd med, it can help with adhd but its mainly an antidepressant
>>
>>84491641

i told you the answer and you rejected it because you said you'd be 'wasting time'.
training at the gym isn't wasting time at all it's an important investment in your health.

but i understand not wanting to be around people, i'm similar

but i still go to the gym, just try to go when it's not super busy, if you can
>>
>>84491812
It wasnt me who said about wasting time at gym, I am more in a situation that I simply cant afford it. Gym membership costs like 70 euros and my neetbux is 380.
>>
>>84491830
is your neetbux 380 per week?
>>
>>84491812
The gym is a fucking meme, as in the actual gym were normalfags pay a fee to work out in sweaty equipment. You van buy a bench and dumbbells and do everything you need at home. I'm probably in the top 5% of males in terms of fitness and I haven't paid for a gym subscription for 10 years. The fact that I can shitpost while I rest between sets motivates me to exercise all day long.
>>
>>84491524
You can control yourself but you choose not to. Deal with that first. Force yourself to do things you don't want to do.
Want to sit around and play games? Wash a sink full of dishes first
Want to doom scroll in bed? Clear up the floor first

Doing this makes your wastoid time feel earned. It gives you confidence over time to tackle bigger problem. Start now.
>>
>>84491836
that's cool but some people may not have the space for a home gym but i get your point.

Also training at a gym may be more comfortable for some people in terms of the temperature, too.

I'd prefer a home gym if I could afford a decent set up but I can't so I go to the local gym and wipe things down before I use them.
>>
>>84491851
You don't have space for dumbbells and a foldable bench?
>>
>>84491835
per month

>>84491836
i dont agree, it is much easier to make yourself do shit when everyone around you are also working hard. plus you can feel pride over outdoing the last equipment user(lol). But I just cant afford it.

>>84491846
Uhm I do the chores as always. It serves more as a distraction than reaffirming anything. I struggle with making myself do thing that I want more than what I need. Because thing that I want have much larger scope and when I do them I never feel like Im getting anything done
>>
>>84491860
I'm not interested in buying a set of dumbells and a bench. When I train I want to use a bunch of various machines and rigs that are in standard gyms.

And yeah I don't really have the space for a bench and dumbells, technically i could fit that in but it would be annoying as hell. I'm not in large place.
>>84491871
K 380 per month is not a lot especially when the gym is 70. That sucks.
I was hoping you'd be able to sign up and go. Can you change your budget around, maybe cancel other susbcriptions that aren't needed and instead pay for the gym?
>>
>>84491871
>Uhm I do the chores as always. It serves more as a distraction than reaffirming anything. I struggle with making myself do thing that I want more than what I need.
It's good that at least you can take care of yourself anon, I hope that you can get better.

I have a question for you femanons. It's purely hypothetical because right now I'm in no position to pull this off, but I'm going to be soon.

But let's say a well off moid offers you a room in his home, and he will pay for your food, build you a PC and give you gifts from time to time.

Would you do it in exchange of being a house maid? I'm not talking about sex unless the girl wants it too, just cleaning, cooking and shopping for groceries online. I hate doing all these mundane shit and I don't want to have a wife or be in a serious relationship.
>>
>>84491931
id imagine most you would give most foids the ick with that proposal. just get an aupair from thailand or philipines. then you dont have to all that, just give them a bed to sleep in and some flat pay
>>
>>84491877
I dont really have any other subscriptions, I just pirate stuff. 50% of my neetbux are bills and 50% food
>>
>>84491524
Vitamin D magnesium and zinc will help a ton. Especially D cuz almost everyone is vitamin D deficient due to modernity keeping us indoors more often. Set an alarm and limit your sleep. REM cycles are roughly 3 hours in length so if you sleep in a way that interrupts them often you will be all groggy.
>>
>>84491931
Even if you find a woman interested in this proposal, the reality of this fantasy playing out would be an utter nightmare. This is just not how human beings function at all.
>>
>>84492072
>This is just not how human beings function at all
that's the whole point, I'm a broken robot. I could have a gf if I wanted and I have had them in the past, but I'm a huge schizoid and I feel weighted down when I'm in a relationship. I just want a roommate who will care take of the house and I'm fine with getting casual sex from strangers I will never met again.
>>
>>84491931
If the food what actually what I wanted, and since you dont want relationships I'd also need you to put something into my savings account. Then I'd be fine with it. But of coursae also depend on the level of services you want, like I dont cook every day and wont ever.

>>84491885
Garden is nice. I have a little bit of herbs growing on the windowsill.
I spent around a year arranging all stuff for my neetbux to come home. I am just adept at scamming the goverment at this point desu, like they regularly change their requirement and i keeo the eye on them and adapt as I go.
Just an advice I got from my psychotherapist and which helped me greatly: become shameless at whining, write them whole telenovellas about how much your life suck, then they will pity you regardless of actual illness and give you all you want.
>>
>>84492082
Don't just give up like that anon if we have nothing at all in this life let it be a sliver of hope
>>
>>84492084
>I'd also need you to put something into my savings account
how much are you thinking about? If I did this I don't think I would pay a lot because I'm already offering a good room with a PC and all necessities covered.

>depend on the level of services you want
Cleaning the house everyday, buying food even if it's online, and just cooking in general. I don't care if some days she uses a dry fryer or microwave as long as it's tasty and she does the cleaning. You wouldn't believe how much I hate doing these little chores, I don't care about working 40h a week, but coming back home and having to sacrifice my free time on shit like cleaning and cooking makes me hate my life.
>>
>>84492141
Cleaning every day is an over kill. The hell are you cleaning there every day?
>>
>>84492160
I don't clean my house every day, maybe every three days or so, but if I'm taking care of someone in exchange for doing house chores I at least expect that.
>>
>>84492160
Nta but cleaning one little thing a day is how you stay ahead and keep it from being a huge ordeal. Like I just spent 15 minutes scrubbing the walls with a magic eraser for example
>>
are you actually a girl or some shit? you do you shore up so much support?
>>
>>84492185
Shore up?

>>84492170
People who clean every day get actually paid for it and can enjoy buying whatever they like.

>>84492182
I scrub the walls if there is something to scrub which is like once in three months at best.
I usually clean like once in two weeks or so, simply cus its the time by which dust becomes perceivable.
The only exception is kitchen counter because there are breadcrumbs every day(somehow)
>>
>>84492170
This never works btw. Doing chores in exchange for room and board. It instantly creates a power imbalance that will make you resent each other and make the living space hell. For example the person lording over the property will naturally just make messes and dirty dishes with zero care because they never have to worry about cleaning them. And then when there are no clean dishes the landlord will go pester the cleaner to stop what they're doing and clean for them. You'll fucking kill each other I promise you. This ONLY works when you're being financially compensated or if you love the person, no exceptions.
>>
>>84492198

yes, support on 4chan is rare

It's one of those things that only makes sense on paper. You both seemingly have mutual interests, but in practice you realize how multifaceted people really are and how difficult it is navigating around their hierarchy of needs. It's actually really tragic this time in history the economic system that has enslaved us drives people to make these bizarre living arrangements just to avoid being an exiled homeless person. Never in human history has it ever been like this

Unfortunately my grands don't have anything, but on the other side my mom doesn't. Then again unfortunately they all hate me for being a neet. I want to eventually use my father's empty land to make a pond with fish and duckweed and such. But that's for the longterm and IF they can forgive me. Planning to collect some nettle this summer for freezing though.
I have autism spectrum diagnosis but honestly I doubt it, I just happened to finally get help at the moment where autism diagnosis was a sort of goal for for me because I felt the most inadequate I had in years. I mostly relate to stuff like : monotropism, not recognizing emotions physically and attaching personhood to hobbies, instead of treating them like tool for socializing (I discovered year ago that this is the "normal" thing to do, hence why my childhood therapist recommended me to "just" be interested in same shit as others) and also stuff like emotional fisregulation and constantly making up nrologisms. I am not completely socially defunct however.
So honestly since most of questionnaire was about functionality, the diagnosis was more like a spice on top. Most of the things I described were about inability to find motivation and getting tired easily and such.
This is a problem I commonly see with people applying to disability. They treat their diagnosis (like being blind) as the definitive and self explanatory thing. I know, it happens here too, people without legs complaining they can't get shit. Instead they(the clerks) want you to actually describe how exactly you suffer, and then diagnosis serves to affirm this. I know one person who got neetbux off ptsd & ocd combo, which are both pretty much nothingburgers, but he really knows how to be dramatic.

hi femanine!

Sleep well.
>>
Your sleep cycle is probably fucked in all of the ways possible. We're designed to use certain sun signals to enter/exit the sleep cycle but we either dodge them entirely or create artificial ones at the wrong times.

Use the night light/blue light features on your devices to be bright in the morning and no blue light at night. Supplement a bit of melatonin a bit before you intend to sleep. Be sure to properly supplement vitamin d/k2/magnesium during the day if you avoid sunlight, but try to get a little at least even if it's from a window.
>>

I know your pain, specifically I just used to snooze the alarm for hours and hours before eventually waking up also my sleep schedul kept getting fucked cause I woke up at a different hour every day (also neet here), I got much better few months ago after I installed this app: qralarm dot app
Basically you have to scan one or more QR codes to deactivate the alarm or it will just keep ringing (you can configure such that you can't lower volume or turn it off), I hide these QR code in various places in my home so I have to spend time finding them in the morning and in the process I end up waking up and making coffee.

>i dont think i have a single qr code within my home
Sorry maybe I didn't explain it very well, basically the way you set it up is you create a random password (so you can't easily cheat) and you turn it into a QR code (it's very simple to create a QR code there are apps for it), then you repeat as many times as many alarms you want and you print the QR codes and finally you put the QR codes in places around your home.
Maybe it sounds complex but it's actually very easy to setup, the whole point is that it forces you to get out of bed, but if your problem is that you cannot wake up at all regardless of the ringing alarm then that's a different story I guess.

This is what I believe too. i think perhaps it's an adaptation to low-food northern environments. Where too much activity will just cost you precious calories. So we evolved to just sit on our asses most of the time. Maybe some neanderthall genes involved.
>>84493769
You can gather a fuckton more than nettle: flowers and fruit of elder, flowers and fruit of wild roses, leaves and flowers of linden, fruits of myrobalan plum etc
I have a list of a dozen such species and when they are ready to be harvested! I love learning to find and identify them and making jams and such.
about autism: I think I am just too prideful to lower myself and lie. And in Poland I think you need to have the diagnosis before you are 18 to get disability bux. Otherwise you have to work for them. Yeah, even if you get into a car accident when you are 19, you get nothing.
A girl I go to group therapy with got the autism diagnosis and she's the coolest woman I've ever met, not at all maladjusted socially, in fact a very good talker and listener... pychologist just throw out diagnosis like candy.

A problem I have no idea how to solve on the other hand is going to bed early, today I slept only 5 hours, cause even if I am able to wake up at 9 am every day now, I still go to bed at 4 am as always.
Maybe my metabolism and sleep schedule are truly fucked forever in unrepairable ways, like I will never get hungry in the first half of the day (I never eat lunch) but always get hungry at around 1 am so I end up eating and fucking around on my computer when I should go to sleep.
>>
>>84494592
when you don't want to go to sleep you get more sleepy for some reason. When I get more sleepy is why I'm reading something really interesting. For eating, the three meals a day is a fucking meme, just eat when you are hungry.
>>
>>84494592
The worst part is that none of thenormie advice even works with this crap.
Like if I go to bed earlier and just force myself to close my eyes I will literally just turn in my bed for the next 4-5 hours.

>And in Poland I think you need to have the diagnosis before you are 18 to get disability bux. Otherwise you have to work for them. Yeah, even if you get into a car accident when you are 19, you get nothing.
I dont think so. I dont know polish so pardon my retardation but I had a quick question for chagpt in regards to that and seems that poland, just like us, has a disability grade system, which includes people 18+. I myself get my neetbux via this grade, which is not full but something like 40-60% (they stopped specifying and just write "partial"). If I had full disability then I would receive 680 bucks. It seems that system is newer in Poland, than here, but hey, now it exists.
>>
Anon I'm in the same place as you mentally.
Dumbbells can be put into the underwear drawer, if you get the kind that are just a small bar w/ weights you take on and off. VERY little space.
But yeah before that start with pushup, squats, situps, and some yoga positions you can look up.
Honestly though the biggest investment you could make (and technically entirely unnecessary) is a jumprope for cardio.

>>84492141

>>84492201
This is somewhat true, and i have to remind myself of it often, but what is also true and i remind him is that letting the other person sink to such a mentality enables them to drift into a depression where they don't care about things because someone else is taking care of it. We keep our personal rooms private but even then i have to vacuum / sweep it once in a while due to pet hair accumulation.

Also this. Your body treats morning light differently from afternoon light due to the sun warping the wavelengths due to magic science voodoo.
So "getting sun" at 8am != "getting sun" at 2pm. It's good enough for vitamin d production but not internal brain stuff timing for circadian rhythym.
Also relevant is blue screen usage but that's for later as I need to go to pharmacy now for meds.

I hate it, but it's the way it is. I don't get any hallucinations from staying up that long, usually I feel exactly the same.
