i avoid meat for the most part because the meat industry has become absolutely disgusting. there's worms in the pork and pus in the beef. the chicken and turkey is so full of hormones it's giving men menopausal mood swings. the farm raised fish are fed literal shit and the wild caught ones are full of microplastics and mercury. they use broad spectrum antibiotics as a preventative measure so the cows have to be injected with b12 before slaughter. i might as well eat plants and just take the b12 myself to avoid eating worms and pus. yellow peas and chickpeas are super cheap and peas pudding and shan tofu taste good and have a nice texture compared to meat. i honestly don't miss it at all.

The shit they inject the chickens with makes them so fucking big that their meat is too tough, the people doing this are fucking retards and it's proof that they don't give 2 shits about the consumer whatsoever.
If I get chickens I just buy them whole and process them myself. I should do that with fish also, but you have to have a plan for fish and know how to filet one and that's too much work right now. If I lived in Alaska I absolutely would be filleting my own fish though.
