How many of your grandparents are still alive?
none of them. i don't miss them. it doesn't make a difference to me who lives or dies. i am alone and i will always be alone.
>>84509546Two. My dad's parents died decades ago, my mother's parents are still alive. My granddad has been working hard labour most of his life, has never worked out, doesn't eat fruit or vegetables, and drinks beer every day, sometimes a dozen cans. He never drinks water and only drinks extremely sweet coffee. His favourite food is fish and chips. Every weekend he goes to the pub and gets wasted. He is nearly 80, and perfectly lean and fit. He has more energy than a lot of men half his age.
>>84509546My grandfather is 74 and has Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. It's hard to watch his mind go.
>>84509546Only my grandmother, and I haven't talked to her in 5 years. Notably I never met either of my grandfathers as they died before I was born.
>>84509595Alzheimer's at 74 is pretty uncommon. 3-8 percent depending on the study.
>>84509546All of them, and see them very regularly.I feel extremely lucky to have them at my age desuMy grandpa from my dads side is getting quite sick tho, typical old dude stuff but sucks to see him end up like this.
>>84509546Only my mother's stepdad but he's like 98 so he'll expire soon
>>84510151How is he? 98 is incredibly old
Only one grandmother, who's now in her 90s and still perfectly lucid despite the fact she wasn't a particularly healthy person compared to my other one and I was sure she'd go firstAging really is 100% genetics
My grandpa killed himself the day before my birthday. Lmao
My dad's aunt is exactly 100 years old she's pretty cool
One, in his nineties. His inheritance is the only hope I have of ever having a home of my own. Not that I want him to die, but I gotta be realistic.
>>84510186>How is he?Living in some retirement community in Florida, he's apparently in great shape for someone his age
My grandpa and grandma are in their 80s. I thank god I still have them in my life.
