What's the point in dating if most woman just want men who treat them like crap? What's the point in finding friends if they will just break your trust for self gain? What's the point in being a good person if it serves you nothing and brings you harm? Why is this world so cruel?
I've come to realize that I have no control over how others will react to situations and I have come to a realization. This life has a infinite amount of possibilities from the moment I wake up today to the time I may die which could be tomorrow. However, I have control over how i live my life now and in the future, No one else, so I am working towards bettering myself and helping those around me even if I do get hurt because I would risk the chance and change someone's life if all it takes is blood and sweat from me, even if they come back and stab me in the back. The world we live in has us focused on everything around us, all the pain, suffering, and sadness that the world is filled with. If I was to try and force others to not be cruel and be happy I would only end up like all the people in history who oppress and cause more suffering. I believe that every choice we make as humans has a profound impact on the future in which we live in as I don't believe in god or a grand plan. So I think like the butterfly effect that any choice we make no matter how big or small can drastically change the future and so that is how I plan to live my life. helping others because that is the only way I see how we achieve a world where everyone is free. Hope this helps if only a little, didn't mean it to sound so preachy and I'm not perfect either I am still trying to live by this ideal everyday, but i am blessed with someone in this world I can actually call a friend and he inspires me to work towards this goal of mine everyday. Granted I have dated someone in the past and given my personality I find it hard to emotionally connect with others and haven't dated anyone since so I cant really give advice on this subject.
