Is there a path to mental health for a dedicated r9k poster?
Nothing structural through a government or organization. SSRIS fuck with your body and mind and therapy is being vulnerable to a human that is paid to not care about you. Honest advice is just finding a friend. But even those are rare to come by. I haven't had one in years.
>>84510766Yes. Learning to accept your circumstances instead of resenting yourself and others constantly is the first step. Most on r9k are incapable of this.
>>84510766no, but if you're really depressed try drinking a lot of robitussin. i was feeling suicidal one night and i did that on a whim not knowing what to expect other than that people use it to get high and it was crazy. the experience then motivated me to just get on an SSRI which at least marginally improved my life. i don't get any of the side effects people complain about except some mild nausea and if i don't take it i'll get withdrawals and be unable to eat or sleep for a few days.
>>84510766What's your life like? Does your job leave you with spending money or do you just barely cover your bills? It's kinda tricky to suggest anything without knowing your scenario a little.
>>84510800I have done that a handful of times, it was only really good a couple of times, one made me super sick so I wouldn't recommend it>>84510814I have a bunch of money from living like a leech with my mom (dad died), my job doesn't pay well. I don't do anything, I'm older and I have had no personal connections as an adult.
>>84510793This. Most of the users on this board are volcels. If they actually tried then maybe they can ascend to normie status, maybe even beyond.
>>84510881>triedtrying never stops.
>>84510865>and I have had no personal connections as an adultI was like that for a while. Part of what I did with that very flexible schedule (compared to if I had to spend time maintaining friendships and planning hangouts) was head on over to /biz/ and do the boring research necessary to make good picks for what to invest in. Having a new activity to set goals around and make progress was very good for my mind. You might choose something else but it never hurts to make more money and use it to prepare for the future in a practical way. Some anticipate rough economic times ahead. In some cases people learn natural disasters that don't really happen in their area have before and try to prepare for them after that.So think about a new activity to get into and set goals around. You might decide on a hobby that's just for fun, but maybe challenging your mind to learn a new skill will be more rewarding. Maybe you'll start with a hobby to ease into that idea of setting and achieving goals, then later on learn something that's considered a skill.
there is none that I am aware of
