Lived in my car in university. It kind of sucked, it's boring, the weather is a nuisance, and there's nothing to do really. Not that bad overall, especially if you have a cozy parking situation like I did. Having to rotate spots and worry about parking makes it stressful.

Prioritize your stealthiness. I fitted black fabric on to cardboard that was cut exactly for my back windows, so i just shoved them right in and from the outside there was no chance at seeing anything but black if you shined a light inside. I also had binder clips holding up bedsheets behind them in case they ever fell out or something. Had a bed sheet seperating the cabin from the back of my suv. Also be aware that your car bounces a lot whenever you move inside of it.

Deal with any mold problems IMMEDIATELY. It's not so much that it's a health issue rather the mold spreads.

Then again if you manage to get a set up where you aren't paying rent/mortgage maybe you'll have more than enough to just buy food. You might still have expenses like an internet bill and a gym membership so you have access to showers.
But have you considered learning to research stocks and other investment avenues? Either way you will be doing research and learning about a whole new aspect of life. I was 28 when I was between jobs and decided to head to /biz/ and carefully research what had potential. Multiple times multiplied the initial investment by 10, sometimes even by 30. I'm not some genius, I just did the research and took reasonable chances.
With that said, with all the money you might save from not having to pay rent/mortgage, you might end up living out of your car/trailer and get into investing at that point. Anyway, just wanted to put forward the idea since you might end up choosing not to live out of a car/trailer after thoroughly investigating the safety risks of it with relation to the crime statistics in your city.
