its pretty safe to assume that someone who chooses to cut hair for a living will like talking to strangers or people in general. just try to be yourself and make small talk. if you don't click with someone try going to a different place. the goal is to form an emotional connection with someone specific who can reliably cut your hair. everyone knows the whole process is unnatural as fuck but things are only as unnatural as you make them. you control your environment. and always tip big unless they actually fuck up your hair.

Haircutters aslo surely has skript required by management that they start making conversation with you, but if you don't reciprocate they have "shud up" part in skript too (thanks God some reasonable management). For total spergs they have online option in app appointment "don't want chit chats".

just got back home. did i get my haircut? no. >feel extreme anxiety about going but decide to just get in my car and go anyway>get there, park, mentally prepare myself and go>have to get money out first because they only accept cash in the big 2026 for whatever reason>go to atm, card gets rejected 4 times>finally works, get money out>go to the hairdressers>the doors locked>it should be open, literally says on the door that its open>go back to my car and sit there for 15 minutes>decide to go check again>doors unlocked, but the guy is apparently on his lunch break and wont be back for another hour>when he gets back it would be after the quiet times, which is why i went there at that time>dont want to deal with all the other people that would be there when the guy gets back>decide fuck it, go back home>trip over rock or whatever on the walk back to my car>put the car in first instead of reverse 2 times in a row (i have a manual, and the reverse is a gated one where you have to push past it to go into reverse instead of first)>stall car while reversing when i get to my house because theres a huge lip you have to get over>obviously mad when i get home, sit in my car for 15 minutes>realized i forgot to go to the shops to get stuff i needed and forgot to fill up my car>whatever.png>finally get out, but hit knee on the door while getting out>get into house>stepdad sees me>"did you get your hair cut?">clearly fucking not>go to my room and take my rage out on my pillowi am never going to get my hair cut ever again anons. i dont fucking care anymore. i'll shave all my hair off if i have to. i give up with this shit. this was my third attempt to get my hair cut this week btw, all of which has been thwarted by some unknown force.
