I have a theory that women are actually significantly more abusive in relationships than men are on average. They're just significantly more likely to be verbally abusive, and the physical abuse generally manifests in throwing shit at you instead of punches. And most men won't report their gfs/wives for it and will just put up with it because they're settling and they don't want to look like a bitch by opening up about the abuse.
Weak animals utilize physical violence more because it has less consequences. It is not a theory, a biological reality. It doesn't matter if a woman throws a fit because she can't do any real damage.
