any other /wealthyfags/ here?I recently started going out and trying to socialize, and I've noticed people legitimately hate me for having nicer things than them. Every hobby I try to do I always buy the best gear there is, and fucking people always give me looks, or an attitude for no reason. My latest hobby is camping and I swear to fucking God these inbreds always have an attitude when they notice I have thousands of dollars on my pack. I'm the most kindest and nicest person you will meet, I don't understand why people need to be rude towards me for no fucking reason other than I can afford nicer things than them.
>>84537223>I'm the most kindest and nicest person you will meet,Ngl pal, red flag if someone says this
>>84537223If you really are as nice and kind as you say you are then that could actually be why they treat you like shit. A nice guy is viewed as a sucker. If you were the stereotypical stuck up rich asshole most would still hate you but at least act like they have to suck up to you as long as you are imposing enough.
>>84537223You are weird and insecure for some reason
>>84537223Billions of people out there, it'll take time to find the ones who treat you well. Sometimes we're just in a rough spot in our life and there's no immediate improvement. There are people trying to survive in places that are tantamount to warzones yet they continue to push forward to the day they can have better conditions.>recently startedSadly this may contribute. It's the first impression people get of you. Some would argue don't flaunt your wealth at all, some would say gradually build up to it so your first interactions in new places are about the activity and personality. Some would say that's a tiresome song and dance but that's reality. You might have better fortune meeting people online on forums/servers dedicated to the activity. Build a rapport with them first before meeting up and them seeing your gear. You might say that's risky but we constantly encounter strangers IRL even though any one of them could be unstable and assault us unexpectedly.Anyway, I think you have options that can improve your scenario. But as long as people aren't actually messing with your gear and getting in your way you could just keep on doing as you're doing and ignore people until you meet decent people.
>>84537223>these inbreds always have an attitude>I'm the most kindest and nicest person you will meetEven to inbred poor people who give you "looks"? How can I be as kind as you, OP?
>>84537223yeah I know the feeling anon, poorfags get seething mad when you don't live in shit and buy poorshit like them
>>84537242This.People will gaslight you in this thread but the normalfag mind hates kind people. They can only conceptualize bringing each other down
>>84537223I know exactly what you mean. They even make up terms to make fun of people that can afford nice things and weird cope fantasies about you being some idiot dentist that doesn't *actually* live the hobby like they do, so you're just using up gear they would have bought instead. You also see this even in expensive hobbies like skiing or snowboarding. Funny enough its almost like they themselves are trolled into consooming under a certain process, and if you aren't using beginner equipment, then intermediate equipment and then finally professional equipment and wasting all that time and money, you're a bad person or some type of "Andy" or whatever the fuck that means. >"What, how do you have a pro instrument, I play for money and can't afford that!"Yeah and? I play for fun and my job pays a ton, maybe go to college and study the same things I did?
>>84537223You are one step closer to realizing why rich people only have rich friends, why classism exists, why the Jews behave like they do, why the elite are justified in their behavior toward goyim.. soon
>>84537223It's almost as if money desperate or amoral people take any opportunity to lash out at their supposed "enemy" group even if that one person "enemy" never did anything to them and is a normal nice person. I was always nice to poor people and nonwhites. It literally ruined my life those people hurt me no one protected me from it and I got blamed for it kek.
>>84537223You should see what they do at work wrt you owning nicer things than them. Even if you're in the same position making the exact same paycheck they'll still use your possessions against you, except it's worse at work since there are huge incentives to attack you (money, prestige, money).
>>84537492poor and nons must be exterminated
Maybe pay your taxes, help your society, and then people would stop hating you.
>>84537223>thousands of dollars in shiny new off the shelf namebrand gucci gear>zero signs of dirt or wear indicating a sudden, large investment that has seen comparatively little use let alone need>pretty much no indication that this person will stick around and be seen again in this hobby space>fair chance that gear will either gather dust in a basement, get put on ebay, be seen at a garage sale, or be seen at a pawn shop or equivalent in a couple yearsit's a stereotype of a wealthy person being a hobby tourist, that's pretty much it. it's the type of guy that pulls a $6,000 rifle out at the range, but is still struggling with the principles no matter how many rounds he shoots. it's the type of guy that struggles to drive the car he can afford to flaunt. it sort of says "look at me, i am one of you, right?" in a sort of sad, sheep-in-wolfskin way, and not the other way around.now, it's fine if you have expensive gear because you really make use of it and cheaper stuff just doesn't last for you, at least there's some sort of story there and evidence you actually need that expense. there's also just not much depth of interest to that in comparison to other combinations of things like proven family heirloom tools, innovations of necessity and careful, meticulous refurbishments.
>>84537523So just don't flaunt your nice things? Easy solution. Though you still may get attacked for things outside your control. Seething violent people can be rich or poor, the money and power just reveals their true selves when they can do whatever they want. >>84537558Idk about that.
>I'm the most kindest and nicest person you will meetThat's impossible to believe based on how cunty your post is.
>>84537565>Pay your taxes, help your societyOnly worthwhile if your country isn't filled with people of a different ethnicity, and isn't filled with evil people on top
>>84537745>So just don't flaunt your nice things? Now say that again, louder this time, so the autistic faggots on this board can hear. Apparently this is too much for the average /r9k/ sperg that needs to feel speshul 24/7.
The attitude here used to be that of hiding your power level from normalfags. Having unusual interests like anime, learning Japanese, occult/esotericism, conservation, ecology, agriculture, naive or vernacular architecture, whatever. The resentment is in part because you have money and they don't, but even if you were poor they'd just hate you for being poor. The real problem is having interests and being a weird sperg. It's a lonely life but the best move is acting mostly disinterested and disaffected by whatever your interests are, their attacks have no surface to gain purchase. You can put out subtle feelers with people who seem they might not be assholes, this is like a handshake in computer networks. Just know most people are cunts so pick something stealthy with high specificity but has no meaning so it is easily missed if they are not compatible. Anything that might be noticeable or suggests an interest or personality I try to anonymize to avoid bringing attention. People rarely know how much something costs so there's something else that is responsible for signaling your wealth. I typically try to be old discontinued stuff with no obvious branding. It might be the Cadillac of [thing] but all they see is old junk while those in the know will recognize a peer. Ideally it simultaneously serves as camouflage and a signal beacon. It is a difficult struggle, guard your heart. Stealthmode
>>84537621>The attitude here used to beNice of you to open with the key words. Too bad most of the illiterates here will still miss it.
