Cases like that is why companies stopped accepting fan ideas like they used to.There are cases where posting on a company forum comes with the terms of "Hey if you put this here for us to use you accept we owe you nothing." but the sore spot there is that there's no guarantee a human would even look at it. So if I want certain things made I gotta do more than just dream.
