>>84553459This is really no more apparent than when you spend a day out interacting with real people all day after flipping through online slop in the morning. I sat on a bench watching the ocean this morning and a group of teenagers sat in the sand in front of me just chilling and talking to each other. Then I went to a doctors appointment then a few stores for errands and literally everybody I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I was thinking about it on the drive home because I was so unused to it that the internet will make you think of nothing but people's misery and complaining but in person people are much more normal and grounded. It really can warp your mind being terminally online and having that be your only form of socialization. Sure I've dealt with plenty of toxic retarded people throughout my life in family at school and coworkers I'm nor being naive or delusional but generally people are geniunely not as unhinged and problematic as social media makes it seem and it's good to remind yourself that. It's no wonder rich people are so idealistic they must just deal with mostly pleasant people all day because they can.
