Obviously it stems from insecurity, like I feel excluded despite making a voluntary choice not to go. I think that if you don't go to college after high school, you're pretty much nuking your social life because everybody your age is at college.
But still, it pisses me off hearing people say some shit like "I met them at uni" or "That guy in my class"

who gives a shit, just like many things in life, college only has a major positive impact if you're already sociable, attractive, and wealthy. If you're a poor loser with a loser family you probably didn't miss out. I studied literal rocket science and I have no college friends, network, or job to show for it years later.

yep i'm working a warehouse goyslave job now. turns out smarts and credentials don't matter if you're a genetic dead end subhuman/sperg. nobody wants to hire that.

or you could join the military and hang out with 18-25 year olds who drink in party as much as college but are also in 10x better shape

Investing is your path then. Clearly you're smart and know how to study up on stuff. Even if you're low on funds you can check out new/low price stocks, plop a $1 in them, which may get you just 1 share but maybe more if they're priced below $1.
You may not always pick wisely (and sometimes good companies run into setbacks or are tied to something else that has a setback) but your wins will add up. This model assumes repeated doubling. 1, 2, 4, 8, etc. and twenty times later you have over 1 million. Ultimately it's down to your persistence.
