>Presidential term ended May 2024
>Cancelled May 2024 election
>Cancelled all future elections and remains president because of the war
Could something like this happen in America?

This MIGGER might be on to something... maybe that's why your orange kike started a war in Iran.

So when is the next Ukranian election?
When does Zelensky's term end if not May 2024?
>>
>>84617611
Did he cancel the elections? Yes or no?

Russians know they have lost this war they started so they are desperately posting cope all over.

https://www.economist.com/europe/2024/05/16/volodymyr-zelenskys-five-year-term-ends-on-may-20th
The president is directly elected by the citizens of Ukraine for a five-year term of office. Volodymyr Zelensky's term started on May 20, 2019.
The May 2024 Ukranian Election was cancelled because Zelensky declared Martial Law. There has been no new elections scheduled, they have been cancelled indefinitely

Remember when Palestine had their last election in 2005 and cancelled every election since?
>>
>>84616722
No. Ukraine isn't holding elections because they're at war and are under martial law, which, in their constitution, means no elections. America's legal system has no such provisions.

Fortunately, the Russia's frontlines are beginning to crumble in the east, so the war will be over in the next year or so.

The US Civil war was held between 1861-1865. President Abraham Lincoln declared Martial law.
Was the 1864 Presidential election cancelled?
Was Abraham Lincoln a tyrant that cancelled elections to maintain power using the excuse of war, or did he allow the election to continue?
WW1 was 1914-1918. Do you think the 1916 Presidential election was cancelled?
WW2 was 1939-1945. Do you think the US held regularly scheduled elections in 1940&1944?

Russia and Israel are both enemies to the west and to the US. Giving Ukraine almost nothing (by American standards) has destroyed Russia's legitimacy on the global stage, they saw the fall of Assad, they can barely help Iran, Cuba, or Venezuela, and their economy is a disaster. We should sanction Israel until they have a pro-west leadership.
>>
>>84618103
Why don't we compare the amount of dollars spent on the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Iran war?
We could compare how many Americans died fighting Iran with Israel, with the number of Americans who died fighting Russia with Ukraine too

The Iran war is destroying the global economy and was a war of choice. Huge difference. The cost of military supplies is essentially 0 for both wars but Iran controls 20% of the world's oil and natural gas and 33% of the helium and 50% of certain critical fertilizer ingredients, etc. Western sanctions on Russia are more comparable but, again, Iran was a war of choice.
>>
>>84618079
Russia should probably withdraw so Ukraine can have elections then.

Why does Russia need that extra land anyways? They have plenty. It's obviously not about "protecting Russians in the Donbass" given that Russia fed them into the meatgrinder and replaced them with Tajiks.
>>
Trump doesn't need to cancel elections when he can just rig them with mail-in ballots like he did the other night to Massie.
>>84618102
The US government has spent years shilling for the Ukraine in the English-speaking Internet along with the Ukraine's own keyboard commandos. Taking down Russia is the 80-year goal of the US deep state after all with the only thing equivalent being their obsession over Israel.

Wasn't the Ukraine war an optional conflict?
When Russia invaded Crimea in 2014, Obama did not choose to mount a defense on the level that Biden did in 2022
>>
>>84618174
>Wasn't the Ukraine war an optional conflict?
No, because Ukraine is defending itself, retard.
>>
>>84618172
Is every Russia in the Donbass dead? No? Then protecting people of their culture from being physically murdered by a violent foreign-imposed regime is absolutely worth a war. The Ukrainian regime is all about the cultural genocide of anything they consider Russian. If they weren't murdering the people of the Donbass, they would be brainwashing their children instead.

Why did Russia send those citizens into the front line as cannon fodder and replace them with Tajiks? The Donbass Russians are all dead now thanks to Russia.

Well, Russia's annexation of Crimea took place too quickly, and in a period of considerable disorganization for Ukraine, for them to mount an actual defence of the peninsula, so it's not a very similar situation.

FDR won 4 elections in landslide (but died <3 months into his last term). Americans can't really fathom the difference between going across a 3,000 mile ocean to fight and your country actively being invaded and bombed since the US hasn't been invaded in over 200 years. There is no public demand for an election. It's just Russians who want to act like Ukraine and Russia are both equally democratic.

There are only like 30k Hamas members. Israel believes they killed 70k people, many studies show 100-200k. There'll be 100s of thousands more civilians will be dead from the lack of civilian infrastructure. Gazans will have to live in shanty towns. There's no comparison. Russia is the enemy of the west and they're incredibly gentle compared to Israel. Ukraine is also very gentle of course.

There's a certain level of question begging in this statement.
"In these internal leaked emails you can see they are taking the Gaza Ministry of Health numbers seriously". Okay, but what about their external press releases?
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4744241-house-amendment-gaza-death-toll/
The House passed an amendment Thursday barring the State Department from citing the Gaza Health Ministry's death toll statistics for the Israel-Hamas war, effectively halting discussion of the war's deaths if it is signed into law.

A bipartisan group of lawmakers voted 269-144 to pass the amendment to the State Department's annual appropriations bill. A group of 62 Democrats joined all but two Republicans in voting for the measure.

The amendment was led by Reps. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.), Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) and Carol Miller (R-W.Va.).

Why do you think the House passed this amendment with bipartisan support?
