I was forced to wear an eye patch to school (they're a real modern-day thing, not just for pirates, meant for blocking your good eye and training your bad eye during the day). I'd get in trouble if I took it off.
Such a small slightly odd thing turned into a never ending humiliation ritual.
The worst part was it didn't even work. My left eye is still blind.

i was forced to have braces yeah. i was a sensitive kid and didnt do well with being tortured every month against my will. i was just forced to do things in general. hated all my hobbies and forced activities like football practice and swimming etc too

When I was 7, my incisive wasn't coming out due to lack of space. If I had gone to the dentist back then, I wouldn't need surgery to expand my palate like I did three years ago.
Back then, my father said he should take me to the dentist and I, being *seven years old*, refused to because of basic child fear of the unknown.
The hypocrite used this against me when I confronted him, as if listening to a 7yo was reasonable and he shouldn't have me going anyways.

I wore braces all throughout middle school and for the first half of highschool. As well as that I am supposed to wear glasses, but I only do so when driving or reading, otherwise I just clip them on my shirt. I'd rather walk around blind all day than look like a fucking nerd.
